• Lily (5/5): Good to stay in for a night - Bed was comfy, and room was a decent size. Bedding was clean The bathroom was quite dirty.
• Guest (2/5): Fly, you fools - Located 2 minutes on foot from the Pink Line. Room in a house, bedsheets not changed, the room is fairly clean. Bathroom in a deplorable state (ceiling, shower tray), floor mat not (ever???) cleaned, no toilet paper. Shared living area on the ground floor in good condition. Much too expensive for what it is.

• Abdulla (10/5): A quiet night at a very clean comfortable and cozy bed - I greatly enjoyed the quietness of the building ) inside and all around , o also have enjoyed and very satisfied with the cleaned sleeping room , the bed was very comfy , warm and cozy , The reception and help from your guy at 9 Goulden Retreat was very good , him being friendly, kind and helpful. Not having my own tv in the room and not having a kettle in the room ..
• Roisin (1/5): Retreat from this booking - This room is located in an 8-bed house shared with long-term rental tenants. There is no en suite at the property, the bathroom is shared with the other seven tenants. The room image is not of the room provided. The host was very aggressive when I highlighted that the description states there is only one bed in the house and the bathroom is en suite, neither of which are true. The front door to the property was unlocked every morning and evening as I left and returned (I always locked it after me). I would not recommend travelling alone to the property or leaving valuables in the room. No towels were provided during my stay despite asking the host for some. In addition, it did not look like the bathroom or hallways were cleaned regularly if at all; the shower was blocked when I did try and use it. There was no coffee shop or hot tub as listed in the facilities. Overall, I could not be paid to stay again.

• Zahra (5/5): passable - close to the metro, comfortable bed no confirmation from the owner to confirm key delivery and details until i texted him personally. the front door was always unlocked so felt unsafe. there was flies in my room and on my bed. had no tea or coffee. price was high considering this and the far out location.
• Arash (9/5): Great location, great value - This place is better than it looks in the pictures. It's very clean, very easy to check in, extremely good value for money. Location is amazing if you're in South Manchester, but also tram is walking distance.

• Rasha (5/5): 2nights were okay . Location was good. - The location Toilet sharing. The booking.com description was misleading. I thought it was a private one bedroom flat.
• Ashleigh (6/5): Good for young people - The location was very good and the host is really nice. Room 7 their is only a very small space between the end of the bed and the wall, that bedroom definitely needs rearranging. It's not made clear this is a house share, it says 'whole apartment'. When actually it's a 8 bed house share The bathroom mirror was not clean and their was no toilet roll in there, I had to go find some.
• Krima (1/5): It is shared room in a big 7 room house - wrongly advertised as one bedroom apartment - Location is good The property advertised as one bedroom apartment with kitchen, tv and toilet. It turned out to be a room in a shared 7 bedroom house, the television is at the lounge shared with others. The room is single sized with double bed, hardly you can move in the room.

• Lizzie (9/5): Value for money and location is excellent. Excellent communication with hosts too. - The hosts were fantastic ! The entire property was decorated to a modern and hi spec. My bed and pillows was absolutely comfortable and I slept like a log. (Med - Firm mattress). I was upgraded to a double room from a single room for free. Ideal location (3 min walk) for shops, takeaways and trams to Manchester Didsbury ect. EXCELLENT VALUE for money & location ideal for Manchester trams.
• Janet (8/5): Clean and tidy and great value for money - Location was perfect for me, close to The Christie hospital Would have preferred not to share a bathroom
• Jason (10/5): Perfect for what I needed - Very friendly host. I only stayed one night before and early morning flight. I was provided with a towel and some washing supplies on arrival and given a short tour. Location is good for some food spots and a couple of supermarkets close to the accommodation.

• Oliver (10/5): Exceptional - Lammie was a fantastic host - happily accommodated any needs and requests. Fantastic location too, barely a 5 minute walk from the 43 bus route between city centre and the airport, and right round the corner from takeaway restaurants and a corner shop. Nothing I can recall - very fairly priced accommodation in a lovely part of Manchester!
