- Narelle (1/5): Bad - A beautiful old Portuguese house centrally located. Adequate air conditioning. It appeared that the water filter was poorly maintained as my husband and I became very sick after drinking water from it provided by the cleaner. The toilet beside the kitchen did.not flush properly, leaving a very nasty smell. The temperature control on the upstairs shower did not work so it was either scalding hot or completely cold. There was no warm water or sink plug in the kitchen, preventing hygienic washing up. Cooking in the kitchen was not possible because of lack of utensils. Crockery was not clean and the remains of the previous guests' stay was left on the sink and in the refrigerator.
