Guest Reviews
- Ruki (8/5): A lovely spot - we enjoyed the stay and felt close to nature - We recently stayed at Nowhere Cottage at Crackenback over the Easter weekend and absolutely loved it. John and Nic are such warm, welcoming hosts and have created a truly beautiful home and property—it’s incredibly cosy and feels like a proper escape from the world.
What really made it special was how close to nature we felt. We had deer, kangaroos and wallabies all around us, and the sights and sounds of the region made it feel peaceful and grounding in the best way.
And of course, the real stars of the show are Bindi and Bella—the resident dingo doggies—who completely stole our hearts.
Perfectly located too, with Jindabyne and Thredbo just a stone’s throw away.
Highly recommend if you’re after a peaceful, nature-filled getaway with a touch of magic. We’ll definitely be back—next time with a bigger crew so we can book the Lodge! The property agency sent me a fair few messages - which made me feel a little anxious that I hadnt done something the correct way. Maybe streamline the messages so they are not as constant, however when I did have to message with them they were very helpful too.
- Sally (10/5): A great family stay - The ambience was fabulous Not a thing
It was perfect

- Erik (8/5): - Nice location, very comfortable cabin, well equipped kitchen, would happily go there again. Overall it was clean but some details were missed. The sandwich press and the bbq were not cleaned by the previous user nor the cleaners. Used bandaid under outdoor cushion and bedside table drawer full of dead ants.

- Carrie (7/5): Beautiful cottage ruined by the management - Great cottage ruined by overly officious management company. The management company - six messages and text about when to leave the property, when you could arrive etc in two days.
- B (9/5): Great for a family getaway. - Lovley location at Crackenback. The cottage was well equipet for a family getaway with many details thought of. Great info from property manager after sorting final details with them. It would have been good if there was a note that you will have to make extra arrangement with property manager after booking. I only knew to expect this because of a previous review I had read.
- Katarzyna (9/5): Superb - Lovely spot to spend a few days. The cottage had everything we needed and was decorated beautifully. There were so many kangaroos around and so much space for my kids to run around. One criticism was the booking process. There was an online form to fill out that was sent to me several times which included uploading my credit card which I thought was unnecessary.
- Balaji (9/5): Superb -
- Kamran (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wayne (8/5): Very good -
