• Siddarth (2/5): Irresponsible staff behavior - Location Irresponsible staff -They were drunk when we arrived and was blocking the way to parking and reception, when complained to the manager he just brushed it off like nothing happened. Totally useless. Not fit for family stay

• Sunil (10/5): Beyond expectations, very nice. - Everything about the property met beyond our expectations. The communication of the staff even before reaching the place, the cleanliness, clean linen, hot water availability, lift service, a restaurant right below, connection with the main places of visit. There was nothing much but if any provision for early morning tea is made ,it will be good...Just a suggestion.
• Shiva (5/5): Except transport costs, stay was good . - Neat and Clean rooms . Friendly Staff. Jeep Transport to Tourist spots arranged by Hotel Staff were too high . Confirmed this after checking with local Transport agencies.
• Francesco (5/5): Definitely not worth booking here, all things considered - The bed was comfy and the location is handy to reach everything in Kumily on foot. We were asked for an external advanced payment, despite booking conditions stating the opposite. Justification was that this is 'a form of protection against fake bookings' (refused to pay). Room was very noisy at night due to the traffic on the main road and rain on the metal roof just outside the door. The bathroom has a very strong smell of kitchen/food coming from the restaurant downstairs. Bathroom door handle was broken, and the sink was almost blocked. Shower inevitably floods the bathroom. We asked to leave our luggage at the hotel for some hours on the day of checkout and they denied that. Price is above average in Kumily and this is really not justifiable given all of the above.

• Avik (6/5): - Location is good, but it is difficult for the frequent movement of the vehicle as the hotel is in a tight lane. Though the food is tasty but they provide limited spreads for complimentary breakfast. We didn't like the behavior , attitude of the Restaurant Manager and the person in charge of the hotel reception during night shifts.

• Ollie (8/5): Great place for a solo traveller needing more space for a few days - Highrange Plaza is one of more pricey properties in Kumily, but you do get plenty for it. The bed and shower room are comfortable (and have hot water if you wait a while!). The location is absolutely fantastic - right on the high street, minutes away from the bus station on one side and Periyar national park on the other, with plenty of shops cafes and restaurants in between. I didn't try it, but there is a restaurant below the hotel which looks clean and has a good menu. If you want a more community feel, I would go for a homestay, but if you need your own space HRP is a good place to stay. The outside area is a little loud, although this isn't the fault of the hotel (everywhere is loud!), so consider taking earplugs.

• Omkar (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic stay in the heart of Thekkady! The location is perfect—easily accessible from Kochi and close to all major attractions. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, offering great guidance for local sightseeing. Rooms were spotless, with fresh linen, comfortable beds, and clean bathrooms. The in-house pure veg restaurant near the reception served delicious food. The hotel’s ambience is tasteful and welcoming. Safe for families and couples, and excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

Especially the hotel manager jose was an amazing person who guided our trip and had a very friendly nature. Also they gave a complementary breakfast which was very tasty. Let us keep our stuff in the bedroom when we spent a night in Periyar. Would be good to have a squeegee for the bathroom floor, as it can get a bit gross with a longer stay. Keep bathroom door shut! Otherwise mosquitos will come through the vent and feast on you at night (no issue with door closed) - bathroom vent needs a mesh cover to aid with mosquitos.

• Sonja (6/5): Pleasant - the room is quite large and high, practically furnished with lot of storage space the bed is confortable the building is in the backyard,  offside the street and you don't hear the traffic to much, also the construction site nearby has not bothered the rewievs here are to enthusiastic,my experience is more modest the wifi connection in my room was weak and sometimes overloaded hand basin and toilette are high quality but neglected with crusts of dirt
