KRISTY (1/5): Nightmare! - We made a reservation to stay at this Splashy Orlando, drove 2 hours to get there because Booking.com gives you the address and we received nothing in those 2 hours from the host. I send multiple emails, and chats, nothing. Then I got the hosts number off of booking and she answers and tells me she’s on the phone with booking to cancel my reservation because this home can’t be booked for one day. She couldn’t have call me two hours prior to let our family know so we could try to make other arrangements and not drive two hours to nothing. I tried to call the host back to plead with her to let us stay with our three young boys being we are now in a new place with no housing. She doesn’t answer or respond to my chats or emails. I couldn’t make another reservation anywhere else because I didn’t know if it could be canceled. I called booking and waited on hold for an hour and a half for a representative for help. They canceled the reservation for us 4 1/2 hours after making the reservation. She never called again or emailed us to say she was sorry! Very poor host! I wouldn’t rent from this host. I also saw that her reviews were really bad, but decided to give her a chance. I guess the reviews are right and not to give this host a chance. This really ruined our night. We didn’t find another place until 11:30pm.
