• Stephen (7/5): Riverview - The small welcoming gifts and information from the Host. The position of the key safe. It was too low for easy access and having two (one not working) was confusing.

• Don (9/5): great value lovely facilities certainly recommend it for younger more fit people - the house was clean and well equipped except for the comments below 2 of us are in our 80s and couldnt have a shower because there was no grab rail to assist in getting in or out of the [bath] shower. Likewise a hand rail at the door to assist going in or out would be most appreciated. also the lock box being a little higher would be helpful, getting up and down at our age is not that easy [83 & 85 yrs old] definitely would stay for longer period if the additions were in place

• Nadeshda (10/5): Romantische Villa mit Esprit - Eine sehr schöne, romantische Stadtvilla. Liebevoll renoviert und eingerichtet. Man spürt den Esprit dieses schönen, alten Hauses. Gemütlich und absolut empfehlenswert! Ein weiterer Pluspunkt: Kaffeemaschine mit reichlich Kaffeekapseln! Wir haben Tess zwar nicht persönlich getroffen, aber der Kontakt am Telefon und via SMS war sehr herzlich. Tausend Dank Tess, dass wir in deiner schönen Villa verweilen durften! Die Küche ist sehr schön und hat (fast) alles - uns hat ein Brotmesser gefehlt oder einfach ein Messer, welches scharf ist 🙈

• Madeleine (10/5): Restauriertes Haus mit liebevollen Details im Inneren - Einfaches Self-Check In und dann eine liebe Karte von Tess mit einer Tafel Schokolade. Was für eine Begrüssung! Ein altes Haus, dass einfach restauriert wurde und mit Charme Gäste beherrbergt. Alles wichtige ist vorhanden und heimelig war das einladende Sofa mit den vielen Kissen und der Decke. Bei Fragen gab Tess sofort Antwort. An der Unterkunft selber nichts, sie ist zum Laufen weit entfernt vom Zentrum. Darum fürs Abendessen mit dem Auto hinfahren oder sich auf einen langen Spaziergang einstellen.

• Janet (7/5): It was nice but let down by no internet and road noise. - It was clean and comfortable. The keys were in a lock box, close to the ground, the numbers very worn so were hard to read and next to a large bush covered in bees. The road noise was loud. The internet didn't work.

• Bruno (8/5): Nous recommandons - Le style de la maison et les équipements. Nous avions eu un souci de connexion WiFi sur celui réservé initialement et Tess a été très réactive en nous en proposant une autre car il s'agissait d'un problème de Box qui prendrait du temps à se résoudre.
• Tammy (9/5): Riverside perfection - This property is beautifully renovated, with modern appliances. The location was awesome, beds very comfortable, and the shower was amazing. Tess was great to deal with. Quick to respond to any questions, and very helpful. Bonus for me was there were loads of bumblebees working their magic just outside the back door. Would highly recommend. Not much not to like, to be honest.

The property has been done up very well and had all the extras like nice bathroom products. It would be a lovely place for a longer stay. The high ceilings in the bathroom need some work to keep them looking good.

• Lorrainne (10/5): We all felt like we were at home - We liked everything about the property - it was great value for money, had great facilities, close to our sports venue, close to the city centre and valuable information about restaurants and places of interest was provided. Communication with our hostess was marvellous.
• Lynn (9/5): Great spot for a weekend away, easy walk or drive to ciity centre. - Clean and tidy with nice decor and roomy kitchen. Nice location across from the river. Shower head attachment needs fixing, water sprays down not out. We were kindly left an airbed but it didn’t stay up.

It is located about a 30 min walk from town just off a main road, alongside the river. Bus stop is nearby. Would have been great to have had some teatowels, and a few more items in the kitchen like a grater as one of the reasons we booked the villa was due to it having a kitchen as we prepared all our meals.

• Quentin (8/5): We really enjoyed our stay. The home was comfortable with large bedrooms and suitable to our needs. - Lovely home and comfortable too. Quiet side street access to property. Close to our family and easy to get around. We liked the open lounge kitchen area and you could close this area off to the hallway and second and third bedrooms.

• Michelle (8/5): loved whanganui city and Riverside villa. - Proximity to river and city. Lovely old villa - comfortable beds and couch More towels per person, and a bathmat.
• Ali (9/5): Comfortable night stay - Rustic yet very cosy place overlooking the river. Although we only spent a night, my family felt right at home. The kids especially loved the bath tub. The host Tess was sweet, leaving us a hand written card.
