Guest Reviews
- MELANIE (10/5): Great stay - Very lovely property, near to the river. Very peaceful, watched the boats go up & down the river. All the wild life in the surrounding area. N/A
- Phil (10/5): -
- Hayes (10/5): Riverbank Lodge - We had a lovely 3-night stay at Riverbank Lodge. Everything was perfect for us. We loved the beautiful riverside setting, the stroll into Stratford along the river, spending time on the private veranda, and the short drive into the Cotswolds. It was everything we'd hoped for, and we would love to visit again.
- Fallon (10/5): Cosy comfortable and relaxing with a gorgeous view - Everything clean comfortable all the facilities you need the view is just relaxing spacious and quiet everything you need is in the property this is our second stay here and we loved everything about this property extra blankets and pillows provided If needed the colour is cosy and comfortable Nothing all perfect
- Angie (10/5): -
- julian (10/5): - Peace and quiet Nothing to dislike
- Geoffrey (6/5): Not a great start - The view, the bar/restaurant on site. Didn't know nothing was open apart from muddy bar (23rd 24th would of been nice to have known this information)
Communication was amazing beforehand until arriving at park and not having access to the park due to barrier .Tried contacting owner via telephone and text understand she was driving once I received a text to inform me all information was on booking. Com.( which it isn't)was told accommodation was number 11.Thank God for park staff who helped via phone and the grounds man finally let us through seeing we had a upset child with us.The Gentleman took us to caravan 11 which we knew wasn't the accommodation, I showed him email from owner stating number 11,eventually after showing him pictures off booking. Com of the accommodation he took us to number 97.No way would we have found this ,later we had a text from owner to see if we're in the property, no other Communication. When we finally got in the pass was on the table, maybe update information for other people to enter property walk to your accommodation 97 not 11 to collect you pass to gain entrance.
- Luigi (10/5): - Very spacious and we had all the necessary facilities
- MELANIE (9/5): Great - Beautiful location, quiet, great bar/restaurant on site. Lovely accommodation. The two small beds in smaller room are definitely for children. I think if four adults went you would struggle to sleep in them.
- Charlotte (10/5): Excellent location, peaceful and clean - Location was excellent Nothing
- Christina (8/5): Enjoyable, relaxing few days. - The park was immaculate and the restaurant was excellent. The lodge was in a perfect situation with a lovely outlook. En-suite toilet seat needs adjustment as cistern is out of line. Dressing gowns were a nice touch but there were no slippers as stated. Suggest you supply more information regarding obtaining access to the park when you supply the key code.
- andrew (10/5): Lovely stay in a lovely spot - Good communication and easy instructions to get in. Very clean and comfortable with lovely views of river and short walk to Stratford.
- Janice (10/5): - Loved where we stayed, enjoyed the river taxi, walked to a little pub near the spa to eat great service, our cabin was lovely and clean every thing we needed would definitely go back for another stay, the little room was really little great for kids not so great for adults but didn't stop our friends having fun, The last night we ate at the bar on sight was only half the menuue as the resturant wasn't open on a wed the food wasn't great we had much better food at the little pub near the spa shop, but all in all was a great l stay, the only complaint was the main toilet was not flushing great
- Elizabeth (9/5): - Beautiful lodge, very comfortable with everything you need, ideal position next to the river. Had a lovely stay, parked the car on the first day and didnt use it again until we left. So easy to go by water taxi into Stratford. Hope to visit again soon
- Syed (9/5): Nice little base of operations from which to explore stratford upon avon. - Very homely and very good location.
- Sharon (10/5): Peaceful haven,on the river avon - Peaceful relaxing in a beautiful setting. Not far into Stratford either walking or on the river taxi which was great fun. Lodge was well kept everything you could possibly need to make your stay pleasant. Nothing not to like,
- Deborah (10/5): Perfect location, perfect temporary home and perfect hosts who responded promptly for the few questions we had. - The furnishings were very comfortable and perfectly designed for the property. Everything we needed was there. The dressing gowns were particularly soft and plush and needed on a couple of chilly mornings!
- Zoe (10/5): Perfect location for an amazing break away. - Amazing location for a well equipped lodge. The site itself is peaceful & the perfect way to watch river life N/A
- Amy (10/5): Idyllic little lodge on the banks of the river Avon. - What a perfect location! Perched right on the bank of the River Avon with a deck overlooking the river - it was absolutely stunning. We sat out on the deck for breakfast every morning and dinner every evening and enjoyed watching the wildlife and activity on the river!
The site has everything you need with a restaurant/bar just a few minutes walk down the riverside and a water taxi to take you in and out of Stratford.
Wonderful place!

- Sheryle (10/5): Exceptional - It was in a beautiful location over looking the river. Watching the boats go by. Watching the ducks & swans it was so tranquil. The lodge was beautiful & very comfortable. Will definitely recommend to family & friends. I had a problem with the oven. Not sure if it was me doing it wrong, but I couldn’t get the right temperature. Couldn’t turn it down.
- Emma (10/5): Absolutely fantastic, would 100% recommend and would definitely return! - All the added extras that made it more comfortable and saved us having to do a 'big shop' when we arrived. Things like tea, coffee, toiletries.
Also, the fan in the bedroom definitely helped as it was a very warm weekend!
The club house on site was also really lovely with a great park, singer on sat evening and sport on big screen. As the site wasn't too big it wasn't overcrowded either.
The river taxi was also fabulous! Couldn't find a sieve to drain pasta if I'm being very picky.
- Dylan (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location. Host was very helpfull. No issues. Would definately book again.
- Kevin (9/5): Fantastic Stay! - Superb location! Lovely lodge in a beautiful spot. Was lovely to sit overlooking the river for morning coffee and evening wine! The river taxi from the site into Stratford made the day in town completely stress-free!
- Christine (9/5): Very comfortable, clean and peaceful, great location, with views from the balcony of the river, -
- Melanie (9/5): Excellent - Next to the river, saw lots of boats big & small. Saw lots of wildlife. Very tranquil. Lovely location. Great club house on site, catering for all ages. Food was lovely. The two smallest beds are more for children. I think adults would struggle to sleep in them.
- Russell (8/5): very enjoyable - Location and the lodge were lovely and worth the money The second bedroom beds are quite narrow for an adult
- Fiona (10/5): little gem - beautiful setting, very calming, loved the geese and duck visits, the taxi boat is a must, the bed very comfortable, just a perfect stay thank you nothing
- Susan (10/5): Enjoyable and peaceful - Very quiet and accomodation is excellent
- Fallon (10/5): Absolutely beautiful and peaceful stay - We absolutely loved this lodge the owners were helpful quick to respond if needed my daughter enjoyed all the games and soft teddy’s on arrival she took them out each day on her trip the place has a beautiful view willow trees and the lovely Avon river we enjoyed many river Taxi rides and they let my daughter drive one too as she was a little nervous being her first boat ride the Riverside park is lovely and Stratford town is very close on the river the lodge was comfortable like home from home everything was clean and we loved the pop of colour along with the balcony and seating area we can’t wait to book again there is a main road across the river and we didn’t hear any of the traffic it was extremely peaceful and everyone we met on the park was talkative helpful and polite a lovely gentleman helped us with our bags to find the lodge when we arrived if anyone travels via taxi I would recommend finding the lodge first to get the card for the barrier that way your taxi can drive through and park right outside your lodge it was lovely to have toiletries dressing gowns and the owners even left little toothbrushes incase you forget your own we could not have asked for more on this trip
- Cath (9/5): Superb -
- B (8/5): Very good - Great location. Well equipped
- Andrew (10/5): We stayed between Christmas and new year the weather was horrendous but it didn’t spoil our stay in this lovely lodge it - Beautiful lodge had everything we needed
Very comfortable and spotlessly clean . Nothing
- Debra (8/5): Apart from the small second bedroom, this is excellent accommodation . It’s modern and tasteful. - The location is stunning along the riverbank.
The lodge was fitted out beautifully with plenty of extras like toiletries, slippers and games/books.
It was super clean, bright and smelled good.
Our host was only a phone call away just in case there were any little problems. The second bedroom was too small for our adult friends. The two really small beds did not give enough room to turn over during sleep . They were about a foot apart and I would say that this is really only suitable for young children.
- Craig (10/5): We had a great holiday in a lovely lodge in a very friendly area. - Great location. Quiet but well situated.
Beautifully presented and very well equipped, very nice little details which always make a difference.
- Lynn (8/5): Lovely stay in an immaculate lodge, only downside was the sleeping. - The location of the lodge was superb and the property was immaculate. Good communication with the owner and the site is very well maintained generally. Had a lovely time. I stayed with a friend and slept in the twin bedded room. Alas, the beds are ideal for children but too narrow to accommodate adults, even though I am only 5ft and of petite build. Very little space to get dressed also.
- Wendy (9/5): A relaxing break in a clean and comfortable setting - Spotless and homely The only thing I can mention is having darker curtains in the bedroom. When I’m away I like to have the opportunity to sleep In unfortunately with the light blinds and curtains I didn’t really get that opportunity but this really is a minor thing!
- Robert (9/5): Superb -
- Vicky (9/5): Fabulous lodge fabulous location, we’ll be back! - Fabulous lodge and amazing location. Great communication with the host. Perfect to spend time on the balcony whilst daughter paddle boarded! Lodge was immaculate had everything you could need and the Prosecco was a lovely touch. River taxi a must.
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Louise (10/5): Exceptional - Host, went above and beyond to make sure our stay was relaxing and stress free.
Lodge had a lovely view of the river,it was so peaceful.
