Firstly, the booking was made under the name “Serenity Corner,” but the actual location was different and named “Zarkoon Heights,” which is far from main Islamabad. The cleanliness was extremely poor, with lots of dust and cockroaches present. The pillow covers were dirty and smelly. There was only cold water available, and while there was a gas geyser, it didn’t work properly and kept turning off after a short time. Additionally, all the furniture was in poor condition.

• Farah (3/5): Never again - First of all, we didn't get to stay at Serenity Corner. It was overbooked, so they gave us an apartment in zarkon heights. It was late when we got there, so we didn't really check everything. Overall, it looked OK. The kitchen sink tap was falling over every time we tried to open the tap. The kitchen smelt bad. One of the bathroom shower holder was broken. What is the point of a shower if you can't put it up on the wall to a height that suits you? There was no tea /coffee maker. No toilet roll or extra towels/ sheets. No one told us how to put the boiler on to warm the water, so we had to shower with cold water as the guy on the front desk didn't send anyone up until 45 minutes later. I won't be staying there again.

Upon informing the host they said “that’s how it is”. All the taps were loose. Some not even functioning. I would NEVER recommend anyone staying here.. even for free!!!

Greta size Balcony The duplex apartment was stunning. Hot water for showers. Let the staff know. Smart TV. Amazing lounge and dining area. Airport 20 mins drive. Nothing I disliked about the apartment.

• Mohammad (6/5): The apartment was very nice, but the communication was very poor - The property itself was very nice, a bit run down, but very liveable conditions. I didn’t like the communication. The property is called serenity corner 4 BHK, but what wasn’t said was that it was within an apartment block building. The building was Zarkon Heights block 1, but for some reason, the owner didn’t want to reveal any of this information which in part made it very difficult to locate the apartment. There were also issues with the payment of the property, but that was no fault of the owner, just be wary of this. The security of the actual building also came across as very aggressive too, asking to see every piece of identification you had.

• Noor (9/5): Overall it was excellent - The view from the balcony, the apartment facilities, comfort and lounge was very good. We got some extra time for the check-out which was very helpful with the kids communication on the emails was fine but later on on whatsapp it was not very much responsive. The location we selected as it was close to the spots we wanted to visit however, food stuff, tea and breakfast was not available close by, even the delivery options were not available at this location like foodpanda and uber eats

The price was very reasonable for 4 bedrooms, dining room, kitchen and 5 toilets. The place requires a lot of maintenance, it was not clean. The kitchen cabinets were not clean, wooden floor was broken, windows were not properly sealed as air could pass through. There was only one waste bin in the whole apartment and the balconies were not clean at all.
