Issue with the lock initially. We were locked in but owner attended within 10 -15 mins. Road very narrow not suitable for large vehicles. Wouldn’t normally be problem for us but we were laden with Xmas presents.

Das Cottage ist etwas ganz Besonderes, mit viel Stil liebevoll und gleichzeitig praktisch und sehr bequem eingerichtet (sehr komfortables Bett!). Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Freundlichkeit der Besitzer. Jede Frage wurde schnell, freundlich und kompetent beantwortet. Ganz herzlichen Dank! Ich komme wieder. ☺️

• Sara (10/5): Outstanding! - More than 5* luxury! Attention to detail and comfort were really something else. Beautiful decor. Lovely welcoming teas, coffee, hot chocolate, milk and butter. Moffat is a really pretty village with some lovely places to eat, drink and shop.

Was so comfortable and we were delighted with the high quality of the accommodation. It is in a great location close to town in a very quiet street where we got parked no problem. The high end finish inside was amazing we particularly liked the blue tooth mirror in the bathroom!!! Everything you could wish for in a weekend away. There is absolutely nothing not to like

• C (10/5): Wonderful! - Had a lovely peaceful stay at Holmlea. The house has been beautifully remodeled, with on trend fixtures, fittings and products. It has everything you could possibly need for a short stay, as advertised. The owners Steph and Sam were great at communicating and very accommodating when I was potentially having to book an extra night due to stormy weather. Thank you so much for that. It was very kind and much appreciated. Holmlea is in a great location close to town. Make sure to drive in via the back alley, not from the main street, as I did, especially if driving a larger vehicle, the wee lane is very tight. You may get stuck. We dined at The Rumblin Tum for lunch and Hugos for dinner. Would recommend both. I would highly recommend this accommodation, it has everything you need and more! Huge thanks to Steph and Sam. No outdoor space. Would be great to have a wee bench out back in the courtyard if visiting during summer months.

The hosts had thought of everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The location was a bonus. Due to the time of year we did not need to sit outside but it would have been a problem in the summer.
