• Anna (1/5): - Nos pusieron en un dormitorio con un chico y era solo femenino. Esa noche no la pagamos como compensación, eso estuvo bien. Tener en cuenta que es una casa compartida. Que esta muy muy sucio y las camas son muy incomodas y estan llenas de hormigas. Hay un baño para 9 personas. Tampoco te explican nada de como funciona la casa ni te dan la bienvenida. La parte exterior que se ve en fotos no es del hostel, es de un restaurante que va a parte. No puedes utilizarla sin consumir.

Bathroom window, sofa and fridge for instance are extremely dirty and gross. Overall it’s not really clean, stains everywhere, walls in bathroom etc.
• Hollie (10/5): I’ll be back soon! - Everything! You come as one and leave as a family! I originally booked 4 nights here and ended up staying a month! I loved it so much! Big thanks to the owners Nick & Tom, you legends! The location is unbeatable, right on the beach with hammocks & deckchairs and tables to chill in. Restaurant at the front to get those cocktails and good food most days. The hostel itself is more like a house, just 12 people max with 2 dorms and 1 double room situated around a big kitchen & living area, it’s super sociable and fun, you end up hanging out all the time with the great people that pass through and most people end up extending for longer. Kitchen is great for cooking. Nothing :)

We stayed in the double room which is quite small, but with a fan and aircon and a comfortable bed. Nice to have use of a kitchen. Salty koala also does great food out front Nothing.

• Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - Chill spot, nice people and the Republic is right on the beach! Waking up with a swim, go for a surf on walking distance and watching sunset at the end of the day at the front made every day amazing! There is a fine kitchen to cook and it is nice that the place is not too big: just two dorms and a private room. That made the place and the people staying over super relaxt. Nick is an amazing host and told us a lot about Nicaragua and nearby places to visit. You feel very welcome! We would love to come back.

• Alice (9/5): Would definitely recommend it to friends ! - The Staff, the people, the company, the size and the location ! Breakfast looking at the waves. And close to Beginner’s Bay ! The events and the restaurant. The cosiness :) let’s not forget the cute puppy ! Very very hot on the top bunks. Electricity is on and off so AC is not guaranteed. A fan or 2 would be nice to circulate the air 😊
