- Rachel (8/5): Very pleasant stay at a beautiful little cottage - Fantastic location (close to everything yet lovely and quiet). You can see the sea from where to cottage is when you stand outside. The cottage has a great layout and feels very spacious. Two great sized double rooms, a lovely kitchen/diner and the shower was brilliant. We were greeted with a delicious hamper of goodies and some fresh juice in the fridge too which was a special touch. There was also thankfully a standing fan in one of the rooms which was needed during the heatwave. The cottage did smell quite strongly of ‘wet dog’. I appreciate it is a pet friendly property but we don’t own any and the smell hit us immediately on entry. I tried to air it out for the first few days but it didn’t really make a difference. Also, we stayed during the heatwave so I went downstairs to finish getting ready and kneeled on the floor to do my makeup next to a mirror I’d placed on the windowsill - when I got up both my knees were full of dog hair which had stuck to me from the carpets (my skin was not wet)! I don’t mind dogs, in fact I love them, but that just wasn’t pleasant - things like a thorough carpet vacuum should really be top priority. The kitchen floor also didn’t seem like it had been cleaned very well. Other than this, I can’t fault the property.
- Maria (8/5): Great property for dog friendly stays - The location was great and the size of the property was good too It said iron and ironing board the board needs to go to the nearest tip and there was no way I was rummaging under the stairs with all the doggy smelling beds to look for an iron
