My only complaint was that the convenience store that’s attached to the restaurant too m - I liked the fact that it was quite I didn’t like the fact that the restaurant closed early especially when travelling alone you need to be able to access food nearby

• Regina (3/5): Won't be returning - The staff were friendly!! The property is very dated, the water went out during my stay, it came on while I was out and when I returned the bathroom was flooded. There was no hot water, the beds were uncomfortable with bed bugs, and despite housekeeping, I found someones underwear behind the chair in the room. The TV was a 25 inch computer monitor, and the channels didn't work. I ended up at this hotel due to all other properties being booked out. I left immediately as a room became available at an all inclusive.

• Amber (3/5): The hotel is a good 2 star and prices need to be lower for what you are getting. If I paid less it would have been perfe - I love the vibe at the pool. Property is very rundown and rooms have old issues that were fixed poorly.

• Mary (10/5): If you want the Jamaican ambiance Glorianas is a great place! - We had a nice balcony with a large room. The pool was great. Food was easy to buy, very reasonably priced and tasted great! The wood work was beautiful. Well, ants a little, and stairs only but healthier so no worries.

• Diana (8/5): Convenient, friendly staff, comfortable and suitable for purpose, within 5 minutes of the airport. - We arrived in Montego Bay very late at night, after another hotel purporting to have 24/7 reception was not able to help us! We were happy to be close to the airport for a morning flight. A/C, TV, pool and restaurant are all bonuses. Sometimes, I just need a cheap place to lay my head close to the airport. I'd stay more often if budget allows. A membership or frequent stay discount would be welcome.

I booked for 3 nights but had to leave after two as the room was not clean and the air conditioning unit was leaking. I had requested a specific room when I booked, this was confirmed yet given to someone else. The whole place needs to be updated, it’s dirty, zero maintenance and clearly no investment has been made for years!

• Keneisha (4/5): Disappointing - The room had good air conditioner and the water pressure in the bathroom was good Upon arrival they had no records of our reservation so making a reservation is a waste of time. Their customer service is very poor. They also use the old-fashioned system to accommodate guests instead of using technology. The room appeared as if it was not prepared properly before our arrival as we had to wait for them to spray out the room and do whatever else before we could enter. We received an old fashioned key for the room and the door was so hard to open/close. You have to literally pull the door towards you to open it and push it forward when closing from the inside. The furniture in the room looks like they were there from in the 30s. Not to mentioned the towels and wash clothes. They appeared two coloured as if they threw bleach on the blue towels to wash them as they were burnt out, while the wash clothes were thin, as if you could see through them and they were looking dirty. (I would suggest you walk with your own wash cloth and towel along with your body wash) The dining area needs great attention. The table clothes appeared as if they have not been washed in months and the area need to be dewebb. Had breakfast there the first morning and I must say that the meal wasn't tasting that bad but it had too much grease. For me, it's not a place I would really recommend. NEVER GOING BACK THERE

The cleanliness of the hotel was poor, the pool wasn’t clean, the rooms wasn’t maintained very well. The cleaners kept on top of cleaning the beds and giving fresh towels but didn’t clean the rooms very well, there was cobwebs in the shower, the floor was dirty, full of dust. The staff wasn’t very honest with money with tourists , we seemed to of been ripped off alot of the time. Staff always forgot to give change back to you.

I wish I could get a refund. The location of the hotel was perfect as it was a 5 min drive. That was the only good thing. Not clean. Filthy. Very very very outdated. Food was limited. No elevator. Have to carry your luggage up the stairs. Awful condition. Just a dump!

• Michael (8/5): if you’re in a situation like I was in, and you needed some place quickly without any problems, this is the place to go - my family and I just got back from our vacation and we had to spend our last day at the Gloriana hotel. We had a last-minute cancellation with her flight and with it being Christmas Eve we were literally stranded at 10 o’clock at night. With nowhere to go, I searched on this website, and I found this hotel. We booked a hotel in a part of arrival. The people were very courteous and friendly and happy to help us out. The property is plain and simple with a pool and amazing restaurant for fresh home. Cook Jamaican food. Everyone at the hotel, or so friendly. Only a couple things I did not like about the property was is that the bedsheets and the towels were not very clean and my children’s bedroom, for they found a few cockroaches that were dead and one living. The hotel is approximately 40 years old and is due for an update.

• Winston (3/5): Decoration of hotel and training of staff would make this an ideal location to stay in Montego Bay. - The breakfast was reasonable and value for money. The room was spacious and generally clean. The hotel is ideally placed to walk to the beach and the main shops in Montego Bay. The receptionist tried to palm me off in a room with no windows when I had paid $90 for a room with a mountain view (in reality a view of a rock face across the main road). The hotel looks like it had not been decorated since the 1990s. A Fawlty Towers Hotel in the middle of Montego Bay.
