Although it was rainy, we enjoyed our stay here. Room was spacious with a balcony. The staff make sure the guests are well taken care of.

• Helen (9/5): Wonderful Staff & Perfect Location - Amazing friendly and helpful staff especially Yaisha on front desk and Ranjit Viktor and his team in the restaurant. The restaurant went above and beyond to meet my requirements for gluten free options and the service was exceptional. The housekeeping staff were also excellent and very respectful and friendly. The location is perfect, a few steps from a private beach with stunning views. Plenty of café nearby and also places to rent watersports equipment. Thanks Cocomo for a lovely stay! Hope to be back one day 💖

Also the island is not that great. Only few restaurants, getting to ocean is absolutely hardcore due to stones. And as a single traveller I didn’t feel comfortable/ safe walking on my own.

Wir mussten morgens um 6.00 Uhr zum Flughafen und sie haben uns extra noch ein Lunchpaket mitgegeben. - Wir waren leider nur 1 Nacht dort, deshalb kann ich nicht viel mehr sagen.

• Per (8/5): Nice value for money - Very friendly staff, especially Roy (I believe he was called) who drove us to restaurants during scorching midday heat and to the speedboat upon departure. Nice spacious room, we got a free upgrade and had very nice room. Lovely breakfast and restaurant staff too. Noise from nearby construction sites. I understand this is not in the hands of the property but not nice with noise from 7 morning til 6 evening. The kitchen chef consistently overcooked both beef patty, chicken breast and forgot how to make a Club Sandwich as one was sent out without meat in it.

• Loes (10/5): Heerlijk hotel met goede service - Mooi hotel met ruime badkamer, goed voorzien van genoeg handdoeken ( ook voor het strand) een grote tv, superlekker bed. Er werd elke dag schoongemaakt! Een heel goede service vanaf de luchthaven, we zijn geholpen om zo gunstig mogelijk met de boot naar het hotel te gaan. Vanaf de boot werden we weer opgehaald😊 Strand ligt aan het hotel. Hier zijn ligbedden en parasols. Puntje van kritiek is dat gasten hun ligbed al vastleggen door handdoek erop te leggen, en dan uren niet komen opdagen. Alles was ok

• Valentina (10/5): Nice and cozy new place. - A different and more authentic way to discover the Maldives, Cocomo provides a more accessible option in a closed by atoll to Male. Takes only 15-20 minutes to reach from Male airport and have a lovely bikini beach (with limited sun beds but very comfy). The staff are absolutely flawless and ready to help you above and beyond! They also have a lot of tours available to book. Food is average but you always have different option (we stayed 5 nights and had different things all the time). They also have à la carte menu for a bit of a change. All the local restaurant we have been were very nice as well. The room is cozy but small. Perfect for what you need, since we personally stayed all day out anyway. In front of the hotel outside there is a cozy area with hammocks and tables where you could get served if you like and we loved it! Next door they do live music on the weekends and it was soooo nice! We will defo go back! Only thing is nearby they are building new buildings and it could be a bit noisy at times but they always start at an appropriate time to avoid disrupt your rest.
• Petra (8/5): - We had a great stay at this hotel in the Maldives. The rooms were excellent, clean and comfortable. The beach is beautiful, very clean, and clearly well maintained. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and really make the stay enjoyable. Some reviews mention noise, and that’s partly true. You may occasionally hear airplanes or some construction. But that’s expected when staying closer to the airport. If you want complete silence, it’s better to choose a more remote resort. The snorkeling is also worth it if you swim out towards the reef edge, where you can spot some marine life. Regarding the sunbeds, some reviews complain about availability. In our opinion this is more about guest behavior than the hotel. If people reserve sunbeds all day while being away for hours, there will of course be shortages. So please do not blame the hotel. For us it was a very enjoyable stay and a great place to spend a couple of relaxing days in the Maldives. Overall, we were very satisfied.

• Jesswein (9/5): Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt sehr schön - Bewertung Das Hotel ist das Beste auf der insel, relativ neu, sehr sauber geschmackvoll eingerichtet und alle Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer sehr leise. Vom Restaurant allerdings laut vernehmlich. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Baustelle hin. Es hat nicht gestört. Im Gartenbereich wird noch eine Bar gebaut. Dass auch Armut in der Umgebung auf der Insel vorhanden ist, sollte man wissen, wenn man auf einer Einheimischen Insel Urlaub machen will. Der Bikini Strand vor dem Hotel ist schön. Sauber. Leider die Korallen tot. Man benötigt Badeschuhe. Viel Sonnencreme und Mückenschutzmittel. Ausflüge mit scuba adventures sind sehr professionell und zu empfehlen. Abendessen teils a la carte, teils Büfett im Restaurant. Aber auch sehr idyllisch im Palmengarten vor dem Hotel. Fazit: da die Anreise vom Flughafen sehr kurz ist, ist es für einen kurzen Aufenthalt sehr zu empfehlen. Es gibt zu wenige Strandliegen. Und diese werden dann auch noch von Gästen anderer Hotels besetzt, vornehmlich laute Russen. Ein großer Störfaktor und auch sehr schade. Vom Hotel müsste hier, wie auch in anderen Hotels üblich, mit Armbändchen bzw. intervallweise mit Präsenz reagiert werden. Wir würden empfehlen, die Bewertungen vorher sehr genau zu lesen.
• lynn (9/5): Cocomo Maldives - Seems like a newish hotel.Modern with good aircon and other facilities. We had a nice welcome towel , drink and cake in our room. Staff are lovely very attentive. Communication was great overall. Ordered our transfers for us, both to and from Cocomo which was perfect. Staff always keen to make sure we had everything we needed.Main communication via Whatsapp but I am sure phoning would not be a problem. Hotel has a lovely small pool with warm water which was a treat. Beach across road with lounger furniture. More loungers either side of Cocomo beach.Sea has quite a bit of coral so u need water shoes. Clear sea and you can see fish with naked eye. Lots of snorkelling . Also there are things like water bike and small motorboat paddleboards for rent along at bikini beach, short stroll along from Cocomo own part of the beach. Himmafushi has only a few restuarants. Indian Cafe has lovely food . We also went to Ellie. Both located at harbour. It was Ramadan when we were there so we felt a bit restricted during day as no eating drinking outside to respect the culture. It did look as though there may have normally been more going on especially food/drinks on beach tables.At night it all lights up which is lovely. Remember this is a local island and therefore conservative clothing is required when away from beach. Also no alcohol anywhere on island however they do have some mojito juice drinks A few days stay will be enough to get a flavour of local island life. Public ferries are avaliable limited timetable but hotel will help with this cost 25USD pp. Not an issue for us but some work at side of hotel but we heard little noise and it didnt seem to cause any noise issues even when u were on the beach

The hotel is in a fantastic location, beside bikini beach and absolutely fabulous on low tide, in the shallows and deep pools of the reef, stretching out for at least 500m into the ocean. Spotted sharks prowling the water too.We had breakfast only and it was delicious. Ibrahim and Co made our whole experience so special, putting on an Anniversary beach dinner, helping with a room change and getting us to and from places on time. Can't wait to see the new cafe and spa, next door, when complete. l

• IVAN (10/5): Excellent - La plage Le personnel extrêmement gentil et sympathique aux petits soins. Les chambres Le check-in tardif car ils n'avaient pas d'arrivée sur nos chambres. Cela nous a fait très plaisir et bien rendu service. La cuisine est très bonne avec un chef adorable mais peu varié car toutes les denrées sont importées. Les pauvres, ils subissent des travaux à droite et à gauche et on leur souhaite que ça se finisse vite pour leur tranquilité. Merci pour tout Nous vous recommanderons à tous nos amis. Il manque quelques transats sur la plage.

• Anne (9/5): - Very nice staff, jetty transfer, free early check in, very close proximity to the beach, nice breakfast, relaxing and feel-at-home atmosphere. Cleanliness is very good overall but some more attention to detail could be given in order for it to be perfect. Loud dance music (playlist on loop) in the area between the hotel and the beach. Inconsistent quality and quantity of meals at Rukuraa restaurant (noticeable when ordering the same dish several times). Food prices are very high in comparison to other restaurants on the island.
• ANNA (10/5): - Отличное местоположение, буквально метров 20 до пляжа бикини. Вкусная еда, шведский стол, выбор небольшой, но всё есть. Хороший интернет. В отеле много сотрудников, к любому можно обратиться и они тут же пытаются помочь в решении вашей трудности. У моей семьи был полный пансион - это был правильный выбор 💯. На острове есть кафешки, но цены там не гуманные. Недалеко от отеля есть магазин продуктов, в нем можно приобрести средства гигиены, а на 2 этаже магазина мы нашли маски для снорклинга. В отеле можно заказать несколько видов экскурсий, в холле лежит альбом с ценами на них. Горячая вода без перебоев - это для меня было очень важно, так как имею аллергию на холод. У нас был угловой номер, с 2 балконами - это очень удобно, так как один из них был на солнечной стороне, наши купальники и коралловые тапочки высыхали на нем за полчаса😂 По природе: чуть подальше отплыть от берега есть разнообразные рыбки, живут в старых кораллах, на берегу есть безобидные акулята белого цвета с черной точкой на плавнике, они чуть правее от лежаков стайкой живут, плавают. На деревьях живёт много летучих лисиц. Иногда на территории появлялись крупные попугаи. Ящерки, раки-отшельники, крабы. В общем - ничего опасного не замечали. Обязательно берите с собой коралловые тапочки❗Без них невозможно зайти в море. Это коралловый пляж. Пляж в левой части более песчаный, но также попадаются кораллы на дне. Если пройти в правую часть пляжа, за пределы бикини - там есть красивая лагуна, но для купания и загара это место уже не подходит, нельзя. В отеле смешение религий. Я уважаю все религии, поэтому иногда было некомфортно, так как с собой у меня была только очень открытая одежда. В бассейне в бикини - нельзя. 1 день у нас был ужин не шведский стол, а по меню. Официанты не успевали принимать и выносить заказы. В итоге половину блюд так и не вынесли, и прием пищи с ожиданием заняли более 2 часов, сидели до закрытия🤷🏼‍♀️ К такому формату питания этот ресторан конечно не готов. Лежаки - отдельная часть развлечений🙈 мы приходили на пляж после завтрака, примерно в 10 часов и свободных лежаков уже не было. Их занимают примерно в 7-8 утра, иногда просто кидая на них пляжные полотенца. Стройка: вокруг отеля стройка, судя по проекту строится ещё 2 таких же отеля, как cocomo. Шума и пыли от них почти не было, в одном ковыряются тихонько неспеша, там ещё на этапе торчащей арматуры. Вторая стройка - на момент начала 2026 года начались отделочные работы, от них шума тоже почти не было, лишь изредка что-то сверлили внутри здания.

Huge appreciation to Nawaz, who expertly organised my activities, including an unforgettable dolphin-watching experience and a visit to the Cinnamon resort. Everything was seamless, well planned, and stress-free. I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to Ibrahim for the generous room upgrade—it was such a lovely surprise and made my stay even more comfortable. Robbial and Imma were outstanding during the dolphin-watching tour. Thanks to their sharp spotting skills, I was able to see dolphins up close and record these beautiful memories, something I will cherish forever. Thank you as well to Roy, Asraf, Saraswati, and Imma for your friendliness, professionalism, and constant willingness to help. Every staff member played a part in making my stay memorable. Cocomo Maldives is a hidden gem in Himmafushi—peaceful, welcoming, and run by an exceptional team. I left with a full heart, incredible memories, and a strong desire to return again. 🌴✨ Needs more activities as stated on the website.
• Sebastian Gonzalo (9/5): Una estadía excepcional - El alojamiento sin duda fue excepcional. Dormitorios muy amplios, camas muy cómodas, con aire acondicionado y ventilador, internet y SmartTv. El baño bien equipado y cambio de toallas a diario, incluso las toallas de playa. A diario había buffet disponible en el restaurante pero también la opción de Menú a la carta. Recomiendo totalmente elegir la pensión completa o media para su estadía, ya que no hay muchas opciones para comer en otro lugar en la isla. La comida del bufete varía a diario con una selección de carnes de pollo y res, con acompañamientos muy varios de arroz y vegetales. También algunos pescados como atún. Precios muy accesibles. Ibrahim y su staff fueron muy atentos en todo momento, muy dispuestos a ayudar a resolver todos las inquietudes y requerimientos. Hay operadores para diferentes actividades en las Maldivas, que fueron gestionadas por el staff del hotel. Prácticamente no había que preocuparse de nada. El hotel estaba frente a la Bikini Beach con vistas geniales. Quizás el único detalle respecto al hotel, fue la variedad de las comidas, a pesar de ser muy deliciosa después de algunos días se hace algo repetitivo.

• Ruslan (9/5): - Отель новый, расположен на первой линии туристического пляжа, персонал действительно очень вежливый и отзывчивый, нормальная уборка номеров, обновляют воду каждый день. Есть кофемашина) Ставлю высокую оценку за старания персонала. Для локального острова вполне приличный отель. Это не резорт, не стоит ждать высокий уровень отдыха. 90% того, что дают на шведском столе невкусно, как и в целом кухня во всех кафе острова. Сам остров скучный, его главный плюс - близость к аэропорту.
• Lubica (10/5): - The rooms have their own air conditioning and fan, the Superior Deluxe Room was spacious and clean. The surroundings are quiet, right by the beach. Sunbeds and umbrellas are a given, with adequate WiFi coverage that reaches some of the sunbeds. The sea is calm and full of life for snorkeling. We had full board buffet. The food was excellent. There were choices amongst local foods, European foods (British, Italian), ans vegetarian options, always accompanied with fruit and water. Nothing in particular.

• Bethany (9/5): Friendliest staff, and a wonderful stay ☀️ - The staff were incredible! They were all so friendly and honestly made us smile every day. Special shout-out to Roy who works SO hard and is so positive and funny ☺️ the rooms were comfortable and cleaned beautifully everyday. We booked for half-board and the food was really good - there were a variety of options every day. They are expanding the hotel so there was construction, which is not really their fault. Booking.com does note that all rooms have sea view, but actually none of the rooms have a sea view. The hotel is right next to the main bikini beach though. This is not the hotel’s fault, but Himmafushi has a lot of construction and it is quite industrial, so if you’re looking for good snorkeling right on your doorstep then I wouldn’t recommend it. We did book wonderful day trips from Himmafushi and still really enjoyed our stay, thanks to everyone at Cocomo!

Beautiful location right on bikini beach with sun loungers and umbrellas. Everything was better than expected. Breakfast was a little cold one morning but this was soon rectified after speaking with the manager.

Están acabando el chiringuito de la playa. Y pronto tendrán su propio barco. Es el mejor hotel de la isla y el precio muy competitivo. Muy serviciales y te ayudan en todo. Tienen que mejorar la playa.

• Alena (10/5): - Cocomo je nový hotel, cca 16 minut rychlolodí od přístavu na letišti. Velmi snadno dosažitelný po příletu do Malé přímo z letiště. Má příjemně vybavené pokoje s balkonky, střešní terasu. Bohaté snídaně a kuchař opravdu v kuchyni čaroval s našimi smyslovými pohárky, humr byl vynikající!!! Na pláž se dostanete pásem zeleně, kde můžete relaxovat ve stínu pod kokosovými palmami, na pláži jsou slunečníky a lehátka. Ibrahim, jeden z vlastníků hotelu, byl skvělý hostitel, opravdu nápomocný a ochotný splnit všechny vaše přání. Děkujeme, Ibrahime.

It is pretty new, just in front of the beach, staff is amazing (special thanks to Ibrahim for making sure we had a great stay), communication in Bookings.com was fast and easy. We would love to come here again. Just one minor point for consideration to adjust breakfast a bit for those who stay longer than 2-3 nights. Otherwise, it is the same every morning (even if it is tasty and I liked everything).

Wifi was niet zo goed en op de laatste dag was er jammer genoeg geen ontbijtbuffet. Dit werd ons pas op het moment zelf verteld. Had beter aangepakt moeten worden. Maar al bij al goede ervaringen!

• Sylwia U (9/5): Fajny hotel na krótki wypad - Hotel jest nowy. Pokój był bardzo przestronny i jasny. Wygodne łóżko, spora łazienka. Nasz pokój był codziennie sprzątany. W hotelu był basen. W weekendy śniadania były serwowane w formie bufetu. Personel był bardzo miły i uprzejmy. W hotelu jest restauracja. Woda na plaży od strony hotelu była bardzo mętna, porośnięta wodorostami, co zniechęcało do wchodzenia do wody. Obok hotelu są dwie budowy i momentami bywa głośno.

• Alexandra (10/5): Empfehlenswertes modernes Hotel mit familiärer Atmosphäre - Nur eine Sandstraße trennt das moderne kleine Hotel vom hauseigenen Strand. Dort spendet ein kleines Palmenwäldchen lichten Schatten. Es gibt eine Hängematte, Tische und Sonnenliegen am Strand, fantastische Sonnenuntergänge inklusive. Nur zum Schwimmen ist der Einstieg mühsam, da flach und teilweise steinig. Badeschuhe könnten eventuell hilfreich sein oder man nutzt wie ich dafür den Pool im Innenhof. Die Hotelzimmer sind großzügig geschnitten, hell, makellos sauber und vollständig ausgestattet. Besonders gefallen hat mir die große Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Personals, jeder Wunsch wird erfüllt: Ob Rezeption, Abholservice oder Koch - ihr seid die Besten! Das hauseigene Essen ist sehr empfehlenswert, auch hier wurden nicht nur Wünsche berücksichtigt, sondern liebevolle Arrangements umgesetzt. Bitte weiter so! Wer die Malediven wirklich kennenlernen möchte, sollte unbedingt zumindest einen Teil der Tage auf einer bewohnten Insel verbringen. Dabei sollte beachtet werden, dass Knie und Schultern außerhalb der Bikinistrände bedeckt bleiben, um die religiösen und kulturellen Gefühle der Inselbewohner zu respektieren. Ich wäre gerne länger geblieben. Einfach buchen! Beidseits des Hotels wird aktuell zwecks Vergrößerung der Anlage gebaut. Gehört habe ich davon nichts, ich war aber auch an einem Freitag da. Nur optisch ist es nicht ganz so schön. Das hat den tollen Gesamteindruck aber nicht wesentlich beeinträchtigt.

Nejedli sme iba ústami ale aj očami a jeho umelecké spracovanie jedál bolo blízko dokonalosti. Veľmi vysoko hodnotíme ochotu a profesionálnu úroveň obsluhy v jedalni, ich flexibilitu aj nehranú ochotu usmievať a rozprávať sa. Absolutne zásadná bola pomoc manažera Pána Ibrahima a jeho kolegov na servis pulte. Pred našim príchodom reagovali na naše meniace sa potreby a počas trvania pobytu na Cocomo hotely nebolo ničoho čo by sa nepokúsili vybaviť. Na tomto mieste sme sa cítili ako v rodine a hotel je svojou atmosférou skvelým miestom pre rodiny s deťmi. Pláž je čistá s pomaly sa zvažujúcim dnom do veľkej vzdialenosti od brehu. Čo sa týka hotela a miesta nechýbalo nám nič. Maledivy by mohli byť bližšie - na tom treba popracovať :-)

The establishment is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and you immediately feel at ease. The rooms are comfortable, quiet, and perfectly equipped, and the overall atmosphere is both warm and soothing. Everything is done to ensure you can relax and enjoy yourself to the fullest. But what really stood out from our stay was the quality of the food and, above all, the chef's talent! A very special mention goes to him, because he doesn't just cook delicious dishes: he goes out of his way to please you. He's attentive, always smiling, and capable of preparing absolutely anything you want. He adapts to your whims of the moment, even at the last minute, and each dish he offers is delicious, generous, and prepared with passion. A huge thank you to the entire team, and especially to the chef, for this stay that will remain etched in our memories. We will return with great pleasure, and we recommend this hotel without any hesitation!!!!! nothing everything is perfect!
