• Stacey Lee (9/5): - Really comfortable beds and home. Loved that there were fans in the rooms too, especially in this heat. Nothing in particular :) Didnt see a grater which we wanted to use, but not a biggie at all.

• Kylie (10/5): A beautiful comfy home in a quiet street. - It really felt like a home away from home. We were comfortable straight away! The house was beautifully decorated and the Christmas decorations were so lovely.
• Charlotte (10/5): Functional and warm, perfect for our family. - It was very clean and functional. We appreciated the children’s accessories and how well maintained the home was. We noticed some ants in the kitchen in the evening. It wasn’t a bother to us at all though.

• Kathryn (10/5): Beautiful home, will definitely stay again. - Perfect location for us, behind Tauranga Hospital. Quiet cul de sac. 2 cars parked easily. Probably a 4 car parking area. Had everything we needed for our stay. Well stocked pantry & fridge. Not expected at all - wonderful surprise. Weather was extremely hot - air con in lounge area with the addition of very solid upright fans in each of the 3 bedrooms. Beds were extremely comfortable - best sleep Ive had in a long time. Single beds in bedroom 2 were both electric with remote for head and legs which was an added bonus especially since we travelled with an elderly aunt who had just had knee surgery. Neighbours very close in proximity, so if you are wanting privacy blinds will need to be kept closed. This was not a major concern for us

• A.Reader (7/5): Beautiful family home - Beautiful property. Nice and spacious for modern and hosts were lovely. Just had issues with one of the bed mattresses being too thin and pillows being like rocks but noticed host and they said they will sort it out foe thr next person.

• Rosa (9/5): Lovely stay - Location is super, close to many supermarkets, we can choose the one we like most. Only four chairs and a small dinning table, not enough for 5 of us to have a dinner when a well equipped kitchen provided.

• Vanessa (10/5): We had a lovely stay at the Restful Retreat. It certainly was restful! - The beds were comfortable and warm. The shower had good water pressure. The kitchen was nice. The heat pump worked well. Condensation on the outside of the windows was odd! The Kitchen mixer tap was very loose and needs fixing. Larger ceramic cups to drink my tea out of!!

• Paul (7/5): Although a basic home it was very comfortable and nice place to stay and hosts were easily accessible when required. - Very comfortable and spacious. Only 1 bathroom. Construction on adjoining block meant little chance of sleep in.

• Gary (9/5): I'm just really well rested and very keen to return. - They had really put a lot of thought into this house. And it's not soulless. The person designing it thought of the practical and displayed a lot of charm. Tauranga's open to you from the location by the hospital, the neighbours are quiet and the options of food and groceries and transport are very near. We went for a water polo tournament and it ticked all the boxes except having a dryer. But that's super nitpicking. There is nothing I disliked about this property. Everything's easy, and comfortable. Nice hosts, very communicative and check in was easy.

Backyard lawn has become overgrown and messy, attracting mosquitoes and other insects that are flying into the house. My kids ended up with multiple mosquito bites after just one night. The catering drawer was dusty.

• Caitlin (9/5): Lovely stay - It was a beautiful clean house with everything we needed. Good location and nice and quiet at night. Would happily stay again. The wifi was slow which made it hard to Chromecast to the TV as it kept lagging.

The beds were comfortable, the house was warm, the lounge had comfortable couches, there were extra towels and blankets which we really loved too. Thank you so so much. There is not one bad thing to say about this accommodation. 10/10 for everything.
• Robynne (8/5): It was excellent and lived up to the name it was a restful retreat for my work colleague - As this was for work my colleague travelled with her children and their day was pretty hectic and long and due to the circumstances surrounding their day travel the host was very accommodating to the needs of my work colleague and their travelling party and we all were very grateful for that Everything was perfect

• Nicky (10/5): Wheelchair Friendly - Great communication and very helpful owner. Easy to access the lounge in a power chair and also the side door. Turning was a little tight in to the bedroom but we could move the hoist easily through the hallways and then transfer in the hallway to move in to the bedroom. It would be fine for a manual wheelchair user. Great to have electric beds and all other rooms were very comfortable and wonderfully clean. Loved all the lights and lamps. A lovely kitchen to work in and really comfortable seating in the lounge. There was so much space for parking. A really nice, clean house in a very quiet area. If you are in a disability van the weight of the chair and people means that you will need to make sure you go in on an angle or the lower parts of the van will get jammed at the top of the driveway. This definately was not a problem with our other car. There was so much room for parking and turning which was great.

Comfy sofas to watch Netflix on the 2nd night. My bed in the master was so cosy. Fully equipped kitchen. So clean and smelt awesome. What's not to love!
