- Jean-louis (9/5): Une étape extraordinaire - L’accueil exceptionnel Rien
- Grenville (10/5): - The history of the building and the bird song in the grounds.

Nichts

- Hadi (10/5): - I had a truly wonderful stay at this charming chateau! My room was incredibly spacious and beautifully decorated with elegant paintings that made me feel as though I had stepped back in time to live like royalty. The atmosphere was magical, blending history with comfort in the best possible way. The host was exceptionally hospitable, going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I especially appreciated the delicious breakfast that was thoughtfully prepared and packed for me to take along - thank you, Sandra :-). An unforgettable experience—I can’t recommend this place highly enough! Nothing
- Sheridan (9/5): - Gem of a property, lovely welcoming hosts, fabulous food

- Deb (9/5): And the dog came too …… - This wasn’t like staying in a hotel, more like a home stay with a couple who are lovingly renovating the place. Our room was immaculate. We were the only people staying on the 2 nights we visited. We had breakfast the first morning which was buffet style and were encouraged to make a sandwich to take for lunch as we were exploring the near by forest. Evening meal the second night which was a set menu of local historical dishes (with a choice of main), a lot of effort was put into preparation and it was lovely.
So our dog is travelling with us and we also rate his stay, as many places say dogs welcome but really they just tolerate them to get your booking. Not this place he was made to feel welcome and had the run of the place (although my good guest ethics meant I did clean his paws on entry every time, due to the white stair carpet), a bed and water bowls were provided and he had the run of the extensive secure grounds.
Would love to go back in a few years when there are more guests and the place is buzzing. Cigarette butts on the floor outside the doors was my only gripe.
- Dr. (10/5): Will stay again. - Nestled in the charming town of Péruwelz, Chateau Morreau offers a delightful blend of historic elegance and modern comfort. This recently renovated 19th-century property is a perfect retreat for those seeking a peaceful getaway. Guests can enjoy the serene beauty of the garden, unwind with a drink at the bar, or soak up the sun on the spacious terrace.
The rooms are decorated with thoughtful touches that enhance the stay. Each unit features a comfortable seating area and a flat-screen TV with streaming services. The private bathrooms are modern and spacious, equipped with walk-in showers, bathrobes, and slippers—a luxurious addition for ultimate relaxation. Our room had picturesque lake views, and a private balcony, making it easy to enjoy the surrounding scenery.
Convenience is key here, with free Wi-Fi and private parking provided, ensuring guests can relax and explore. The location offers a quiet retreat while still being within easy reach of local attractions, shops and restaurants. Romantic on-site restaurant available. We enjoyed some local breweries during our stay. Belgium has amazing beer!!
Overall, Chateau Morreau is a wonderful blend of history, comfort, and hospitality. Whether you're visiting for a short stay or a longer escape, it offers the perfect balance of relaxation and convenience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area. Nothing. I loved the open bathroom view.
