Guest Reviews
- Dan (6/5): Stay was fine, none of us left feeling like we got value for our money due to cleanliness and lack of communication rega - Location was great and lots of space. Cleanliness wasn’t great.
Seemed to be sets of 5 for things when it caters for 6.
Advertised with a bbq, was locked away in the shed.
Water leaking through a light fitting in the bathroom and was told that it wouldn’t be fixed whilst we were there. After that there was no contact from the company even with emails sent as ‘we still had two bathrooms’ but we booked specifically because we had 3 couples. All showers leaked on the floor when being used which was a concern for all of us and the windows need blinds on them (or frosting covering the whole window).
Amenities like bin bags, sponges etc weren’t provided and had to buy our own.
Lack of communication regarding some compensation for the shower - if the person had been electrocuted as they were having a shower at the time, it would have been much worse but we were ignored (maybe not by the owner if messages not passed on, or maybe by the company with no response from owner, either way wasn’t great).
- Margaret (6/5): Lovely home but some little hiccups spoiled our stay - Very well equipped, everything that we needed was there. Loved the kitchen. when we got there the house, apart from the shared bathroom, was absolutely freezing. In particular the master bedroom ensuite. The downstairs toilet had a disgusting sewage smell that didnt disapear until the second day. Entering and exiting the drive is dangerous, there is no visibility unless you drive onto the road. There was a huge, well established cobweb, in the kitchen window that hung like a hammock, in fact there were a few around the house. By mid afternoon on the day after we arrived, the house was a lot warmer.
