• DELEPINE (10/5): - La personne qui nous a accueillis était charmante et très à l'écoute; elle a répondu à toute mes questions et nous a donné des conseils pour notre séjour. La propreté était irréprochable et la literie était super; ce qui est très appréciable. Appartement bien situé, à côté de la station de métro Salvator Rosa (accès direct au centre-ville, ...). Il est très calme car il donne sur une cour intérieure qui nous protège de l'agitation et des bruits de la circulation. Bien placé à proximité du quartier du Vomero qu'on peut rejoindre à pied par ruelles et escaliers. A proximité également d'une place (piazza dell'Immacolata) où on trouve superette (SUPERO: il y a tout de qu'il faut et c'est ouvert tous les jours), bars et restaurant (Alba: petit resto populaire et agréable, fréquenté par les gens du quartier). Flavio est quelqu'un de très sympathique et compréhensif; il nous a permis de faire coïncider check-in et check out avec nos horaires d'avion; nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Il nous a aussi donné les bonnes adresses. En conclusion: on peut y aller en toute confiance. Je recommande!

• Gabriella (10/5): Biztonságos környéken, tömegközlekedési csomóponthoz közel fekvő, jól felszerelt, tiszta szállás. - A szállás egyik legfontosabb értéke a fekvése: biztonságos környéken, tömegközlekedési csomóponthoz közel, ugyanakkor a nevezetességek jórészéhez gyalogosan is közel, relatíve csendesebb helyen, tiszta házban található. A szállás másik erőssége, hogy jól felszerelt, két mosdóhelyiséggel és erkéllyel is rendelkezik, s a szállásadók segítőkészek. Őszintén tudom ajánlani másnak is, aki túristaként keresi fel Nápolyt. Nem volt ilyen.

Letto comodo e buona asciugamaneria. Aggiungo che c'è l'ascensore e la casa e' molto silenziosa: due caratteristiche che a Napoli... non sono proprio scontate! Il valore aggiunto sono stati la gentilezza e la premura dell' incaricata all'accoglienza e l'estrema flessibilità dell'orario di check in e check out. Davvero consigliato! Nulla

L'appartamento è in una posizione ottima, facile da raggiungere e vicino ai principali punti di interesse della città. La pulizia e le comodità sono state impeccabili, ci siamo sentiti subito a casa. Flavio il proprietario è stato molto gentile e disponibile e ci ha concesso anche di ospitare nostra figlia per una notte. La colazione consisteva solo di prodotti confezionati, ma devo dire che erano abbondanti, perciò nel complesso soddisfacenti. Letto comodissimo!! Se devo fare un appunto, la parte di armadiatura disponibile per gli ospiti, dovrebbe essere completamente vuota e libera, invece io ho trovato lenzuola e oggetti vari che la occupavano.

• Mandy17 (10/5): - Emplacement pratique, l'appartement se trouve à 200 m d'une station de métro (Salvador Rosa) depuis la gare garibaldi prendre direction piscinola scampia ligne 1 descendre à Salvador Rosa, il y a 8 arrêts depuis la gare 15 min. L'appartement dispose de tous les équipements dont on a besoin, shampooing, seche cheveux serviettes, et aussi je souligne la petite attention de nous avoir laissé des petits gateaux et confitures pour le petit-déjeuner. Le lit est confortable et vous avez une chaine française la 4565. Flavio le propriétaire est charmant, il a répondu rapidement à nos besoins et nous a même aider pour nous rendre très tôt à l 'aéroport. Grazie Flavio 😊 Visite recommandée Pompéï 40min de la gare Choisir Pompeî scavi pour le billet de Train, l entrée est en face de la gare. Et Sorrento 1h de la gare

• Rajiv (10/5): Safe Location - Great Proximity to Airport and Metro - The location is ideal for anyone who is willing to take a metro back home. Great access to Salvator Rosa metro. Before arriving, I was warned by several friends who stayed near the city centre - that they felt quite unsafe after 10pm. A few even observed pickpocketing and phones getting stolen right in front of them. To my surprise, Flavio's apartment was placed in a locality which is entirely residential, and therefore we felt safe even during late hours. This gave us the flexibility to roam around the central part of town, and then make it back via a metro ride, and then a 2 min walk from Salvator Rosa metro station. --------------------------------- Flavio is a great host, and he makes sure his guests feel at home. My wife and I have stayed across many BnBs and guest houses, and seldom have we found a house guest who is super keen on making sure we have a good time in their city. Most hosts have a transactional relationship with their guests, and maybe some guests like it that way. --------------------------------- Naples Airport is <20 min & 20€ via FreeNow app. Do not fall for the taxi driver's drama of showing you the city taxi rate chart. Take your luggage out of the car, Hand him the 20€ cash with a smile, and walk away. (It's supposed to be 15€ and they are already overcharging) I think the pricing could be cheaper, especially considering the fact that this is not a tourist crowded location. But there could be other reasons as to why the price is a bit much, and I'm probably missing a few more details on the why.
• Lauren (10/5): Perfect apartment for a city trip - The apartment is perfect for a city trip to Naples. it's one minute from the underground and you have all amenities nearby. Everything you need is provided in the flat, which is clean and comfortable, and despite it's central location, the apartment is quiet so you can relax on the balcony. Flavio, the owner is a very friendly and accommodating person. He will give you plenty of useful tips and recommendations on what to see and do in this fantastic city. It was a shame we couldn't stay longer!

Beautiful fresh pastry shop across the street too. Overall we enjoyed our stay In Naples and we would recommend Folly Apartment Lack of small bowls for breakfast cereal. A kettle would be good too as not everybody drinks coffee.
• Susan (10/5): A nice spacious apartment with lots of advantages. - The location was excellent, very close to the Metro, good restaurants, coffee shops, gelatoria, and a pharmacy. Flavio has a washer but not a dryer, so if you don't have time to hang out your clothes to dry, there's also a laundry nearby. (Be sure to take the stairs to the next street up to access most of the shops I just mentioned.) Although cellophaned rolls are provided, we preferred to eat breakfast at a coffee shop most of the time for the fresh regional pastries and freshly made espressos. The apartment is very nicely furnished and if you need TV, there are 3 of them! I also loved looking out onto the little park in back with an ancient Roman arch! Having security guards at the front door was another plus! The hot water was sometimes inconsistent. But we found this at our next stay as well. The street in front was very busy but the soundproofing and location on 5th floor facing the rear helped a lot.

The position of the appartment was OK, near the metro station from where you can reach all vital points. The appartment itself was nicely equiped.
• Anna (7/5): Great Apartment - We enjoyed our stay at Folly Apartment. It was great having air conditioning and a television in both the living room and bedroom. The apartment is spacious and has a cute kitchen. It was also nice to have coffee provided. It is located very close to the Metro and there is a grocery store nearby. Upon arrival, the shower drain was clogged and overflowed the bathroom quickly. We asked Flavio to help us but he was dismissive telling us that there was no problem, despite the bathroom floor being flooded. He ended up fixing it, but it was disappointing that he did not apologise or take the time to understand how the water overflowing the bathroom is an inconvenience to us. Apart from that, Flavio was very kind and even gave us pastries when we left. Although, it felt uncomfortable when we messaged to thank him for the pastries as he mentioned possibly giving him a 10 in our review which felt like a bribe. We were happy that the floor was very clean, but there was some hair on the bed and the dishes, cutlery and coffee percolator weren’t fully cleaned since the previous guests. The breakfast was more of a snack than a meal as it was a croissant. It would have been nice to have other options e.g. fruit, yoghurt, cereal etc. There was also no kitchen knife which made chopping quite difficult.

Quiet, safe area up above the crowded city streets. Flavio was a great host. The apt was the perfect base to explore the city the islands and the Amalfi peninsula. Modern bldg with an elevator. Exhaust fumes from motorbikes in narrow "streets" downtown. Roll on the switch to electric motors - but don't hold your breath - just wear a mask meantime Lol.!

• Despina (10/5): Exceptional - Our stay at Folly apartment was more than great! Very convenient location. Next to metro station, market, croissanterie. The apartment was equipped with all the necessary things. The most important of all was the communication with the owner of the apartment, Flavio. Flavio is the best landlord! More than willing to help, to guide, to advise... We are definitely going to visit Folly apartment soon , not only for the convenient accommodation, but mostly for the excellent communication and friendship we created with Flavio!!! • Patrick (10/5): Great apartment in a less touristy neighbourhood and very well connected by metro. - Flavio was a very nice host and met us on the day of arrival at the main gate to the apartment complex. The house is located close to a metro station in a neighbourhood that is not very touristy (in comparison to other parts of Naples) and has a lot of small bars and nice restaurants close by. The apartment itself is located on the 5th floor but does not face the busy street in front of the building, instead the balcony has a view of the backyard and towards the metro station. The apartment is quite big, renovated, and has everything that one may need (e.g., hairdryer, toaster, coffee machine). Amenities such as shower gel and towels are provided. The proximity to a stop of metro line 2 makes it easy to explore the city centre and touristic highlights of Naples (museums, etc.) whilst actually staying a bit off of the major touristy areas which is something that we very much enjoyed. Flavio kindly provided plenty of utensils to have a Italian breakfast (something sweet plus or a croissant, plus a cappuccino) which lasted for all days of our stay. He also sent us tips of things to see and short tours in the city, plus recommendations for restaurants after our arrival via WhatsApp--which turned out to be very good recommendations indeed. In addition, he also arranged for us to be able to pick up some Neapolitan pastries at a Pasticceria across the street upon checkout (as he didn't have time to meet us himself), which we though was a really nice gesture. Lastly, Flavio was flexible about the checkout time, so we could check out at 11am instead of 10am on the last day of our stay. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay in the apartment and would book again if we come back to Naples. On two nights the neighbours were quite noisy relatively late at night (shouting, screaming, and slamming doors at around 1am), but that is not the host's fault and also part of the experience of staying in a regular apartment building as opposed to a hotel. So no real concerns there from our side.

The location is excellent, there’s a metro stop one minute away, and we even walked through Napoli historic center and everything else by foot, it’s very close to the centre! Folly Apartment is in a perfect location- 2 metro stations nearby, the building has a porter and the main door is locked. The apartment is clean and comfortable. Flavio is the best host you can have- smiley, gives a lot of information about what to visit, and very good advice about the restaurants. He also left a very nice coffee and breakfast for use. Metro L1, station Salvator Rosa /1 min from the apartment/, is on the way to all interesting places. I highly recommend the place to stay. My family would come back again.

I loved the coffee machine as I like to drink a good cup of coffee once I open my eyes in the morning! The location of the apartment was fantastic! Just 2-3 minutes from the underground station which had a direct connection to major spots in Naples like the central station, the port, and the City center. The owner, is very friendly and helpful. He helped me in arranging a taxi early in the morning at the day of our departure. The service was also great! There was a problem with the key the day I arrived and he immediately brought a technician who fixed the problem once I informed him about it. So! All in all, absolutely recommend! 👍

• Lina (10/5): Exceptional - We enjoyed our stay alot since it was quite close to the station, the appartment had 2 toilets which is always a plus, a very comfortable bed and everything was so accurate to the pictures on the app. Flavio was very helpful and informative as well as fast at responding to our questions. Very recommended!
