- John (10/5): Wonderful break in a great locatiom. - From the moment we arrived we knew we had come to a special place. The accommodation is perfect. The photos don’t do it justice. The views are extraordinary and only a short drive to town. Very well appointed with electric blankets and a slow combustion fire for the cold nights. I couldn’t fault our stay. Everything was perfect.
- Michelle (10/5): Spacious accomodation with plenty of nature to enjoy. A good home base for exploring the vineyards. - Peaceful location. Rolling hills, sounds of nature, nice cleared area around the home, extremely spacious with many items not normally supplied at other places I have stayed, eg. a variety of wine and champagne glasses (it is wine country after all!), full kitchen facilities, plenty of boards for cheese platters etc.. Beautiful bath in the bathroom. Helen (host) went over and above to ensure our stay was everything we had hoped. Clear and prompt communication. She even called us whilst we were there to invite us to go watch some cattle work happening in the neighbour's property. The mobile reception is a bit scattered (Telstra) though the supplied wifi is excellent. The road to the property is quite a drive from the main road and is windy and sometimes narrow. It's easy during the day but we weren't keen to go out at night as we were unfamiliar with it. This didn't take away from our experience as we happily stayed in with local wines and produce!
- Angus (10/5): Beautiful, well appointed home in a picturesque setting! - Property was very well appointed, in a quiet area, and felt homely and comfortable. From the heated blankets to coffee machine and BBQ, everything you could need had been thought of. Helen was very responsive and a wonderful host - would definitely stay at Griffin Getaway again next time I’m in Orange!
- Angelica (6/5): - Clean spacious house in a beautiful location not far from the CBD. Central heating/air con needs fixing so that it works in all parts of the house. The bathroom window needs repairing as it kept opening through the night. The main entrance door isn't lockable or we weren't given instructions on how to lock it. The Wi-Fi needs updating. It was very slow. The TV apps need fixing as the only thing that worked was YouTube.
- Jason (10/5): Perfect getaway for couples or family - Beautiful property with great views of the farm, spectacular sunrise and sunset. Very convenient location only 15 minutes drive from town. Though you’ll end up wanting to spend more time here than anywhere else.

- Jordan (10/5): A piece of paradise - spent the weekend with my wife and kids and felt like we had rested a fortnight. For those of us - The location is absolutely stunning, the farmhouse is well appointed and so cosy, and the hosts were lovely.

The place was warm and cosy, the views were beautiful, the kids loved feeding the chickens on a morning and running around the grounds. Short drive into town. Great place to rest and recharge and visit wineries

Just perfect for a long weekend getaway from Sydney, Helen was an amazing host and the property is super cosy with views to die for across rolling hills, great heating for the colder months, and you just feel like you're in the country when town is only 10min drive away. Actually the drive to the property was one of my favourite parts, amazing views when you crest each hill, curious cows, and spectacular sunsets. Highly recommend. Nothing. It was all perfect :)

We had the most beautiful sunsets and Helen the host was lovely taking us for a walk of the property to see the cattle I wish we had stayed longer. My girls loved feeding the chickens every morning. Unfortunately they didn't lay any eggs, but will definitely go back to try again

The host was so lovely and made us feel very welcome (the complimentary bottle of wine was very thoughtful and appreciated!). We absolutely loved staying here.
- Russell (10/5): Perfect relaxing getaway in food and wine wonderland! - Great space with comfortable bedding, lovely views over the surrounds and ample amenities like a bluetooth speaker and a fireplace with firewood nearby. Less than 10 minutes drive to Orange means you are close to town but also feel quite secluded and by yourself. The weather was miserable but can't blame the property for that, it gave us an excuse to use the fireplace!

- Volker (9/5): Spacious country house with great views - Very spacious house in farm environment, great views, very quiet, great kitchen, comfortable bed and bath, aircon worked well for heating throughout plus fireplace, great in winter as we had frosty morning and evenings Only basic inclusions in the kitchen, so if you self cater then stock up in Orange before you drive there, because when you have arrived you don't want to leave!
