• Sally (9/5): A well positioned home with a beautiful terrace overlooking the river . - A very comfortable house within an easy 10 walk from the centre of Llangollen . Plenty to do and experience in and around Llangollen and some great restaurants . We had good weather and enjoyed sitting out on the terrace overlooking the beautiful river .

• Gail (9/5): Fabulous place, idyllic - Loved the property, excellent facilities. Lots of thpught put in to what may be needed. The only thing that i can fault is not enough towels and perhaps a tumble drier for the wetter days when its hard to dry washing.

• Sharon (8/5): Lovely comfortable - Lovely property lovely and clean,close to town. The side gate was a little flimsley as I didn't feel safe with dogs in back cause only had little latch,and went on main road so I put the outside storage unit there blocking it.
• Carole (10/5): Lovely house on the outskirts of Llangollen. - House was great for a family get together. The 3 double bedrooms, bathroom & downstairs toilet were perfect. Plenty of room in the kitchen & round the dining table. Location was great with a short walk into town on to the river / canal. Walked to the aqueduct & had lunch at The Aqueduct Inn which was lovely. Parking outside was great. Terrace looking over the river looked great but it was a bit cold to appreciate fully. Sofas are a bit small for 6 all watching TV together & they are a bit uncomfortable. Bed 2 mattress was a bit uncomfortable.
• Michael (10/5): The perfect place to go to unwind - A beautifully kept property on the banks of the river Dee. Open the patio doors and you can hear the sound of the flowing river. Great parking space . Easy to walk into Llangollen . The property itself is warm cozy clean and spacious
• Sarah (8/5): Beautiful location, well placed for visiting the area! - We loved our stay! Great location for walking into Llangollen and an excellent base for sight seeing. The beds were super comfy and being able to park on the drive was handy. The balcony and river views are amazing! It would be great to visit in the summer and spend more time out there. If I was being really picky, it could do with a bread knife and a shot glass but we were really happy with our stay.

We arrived after a long journey and the sat nav deposited us no where near the property. 4 people locally could not help us find the property so I felt very down........... Finally after a kind Gent helped us we were able to relax with a cup of tea.

• Doreen (9/5): A home from home, everything catered for, great view, great hosts. - The only concern vwsd that the blankets in the cupboard smelt of dog. My sister turned Chilly and she could not use them. They were pretty dirty in terms of smell.

• Michael (8/5): A most enjoyable weekend - Well-equipped, clean and comfortable house in an excellent location for accessing Llangollen town (a 10 minute walk) and the surrounding area. Definitely dog-friendly. A couple of tea-towels and a couple of small sharp knives would have perfected the, otherwise comprehensive, kitchen equipment.

• Tony (10/5): New Year stay with friends. - Location was great, just a mile out of Llangollen. We may have preferred two full bathrooms, but it worked fine for us 3 couples.
• Sharne (9/5): Warm and welcoming family house with great access to the village and surrounding area. - We booked a short break to celebrate a family members big birthday and an early Christmas together. River View, was ideal for 5 adults, with 3 double bedrooms (which, we've struggled to find in the past) and a fabulous large open plan ground floor Ideal for spending time together. The kitchen had everything we needed, the dishwasher meant no one was left doing the washing up. Michelle was great at getting touch, reaching out to us to check we were ok, as storm Darragh hit. We we're fine and more than happy staying warm and cosy at the house while the wind and rain persisted outside. Once the weather improved we enjoyed a morning coffee on the terrace, listening to the river and a walk around the village and to the Aqueduct. We found the property spotlessly clean and fresh smelling, We each had plenty of towels with spares available. There were cleaning products in the kitchen, very handy! The beds were comfy. The house was warm, with hot water on tap, no waiting for the shower to warm up! We thought the movement sensor lights in the hall and stairs were a great idea.

• Marilyn (10/5): Great property, perfectly situated for long walks with the dog. Lovely town with plenty of good restaurants and pubs. - The property was perfect for my son, his dog and myself. We had everything we could possibly need to make our stay enjoyable. If I was being really picky I could say the rubbish collection was a bit of a nightmare what with the general rubbish only being collected once a month. Having said that, it’s not the property owners fault, it’s the councils and more a problem for the owners than us.

• Julie (7/5): Beautiful house, a short walk from the town centre and the balcony backdrop is amazing. The hosts are lovely! However th - The property is super clean, very well presented & the extra touches such as hand wash/hand lotion/shampoo/conditioner etc were lovely! The only thing we weren’t keen on is that the house is on the main road through Llangollen. The traffic noise is really loud and it meant that even though it was hot, we couldn’t sleep with the window open because of the noise. The balcony is beautiful but again, the traffic noise was a huge shame.

The hosts communicated well, and we knew that should any problems arise, we could contact them.We loved the balcony overlooking the river. There was nothing we didn't like about River Tree House.

• Caroline (10/5): The house is in a good location, only 10 minutes walk from Llangollen and a good base for exploring other local places o - This is a great property which was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and there was plenty of everyday cleaning products. Very nice toiletries were provided throughout and dog bowls and a dog bed were also available.

Nice touch of wine milk biscuits tea and coffee. Less than 10 min walk into Llangollen. Would highly recommend RiverTree House . Everything perfect.

• Jackie (10/5): Exceptional - The house was immaculately clean and a great location. There were nice touches like wine, tea, coffee, and biscuits left by the host. There were also lovely high-quality toiletries and hand-wash in the house. I can't fault this accommodation.
• Johnson (10/5): Exceptional - In a great location, 10 minutes walk into town, good off the road parking for 2 vehicles, very clean, the owner was very helpful and always replied to messages 😊. Over looking the river was a bonus from the patio, great facilities inside and out. We all would definitely come back. The only fault that you could say was the A5 main road through the town got noisy with the early morning traffic, but not enough to put us off going back.
• Scott (8/5): Lovely place to stay, attentive host. - Nice modern accommodation. All you need for a small group. Although it’s located on the edge of town, it’s an east walk into the centre. The only negative about the place is the busy road and associated noise when the window is open. We were in the front room and the traffic starts early and is constant. we needed the window open as the house got rather warm, but when closed it’s quiet.

• Pamela (8/5): Very good - The house looked like a new build and is in a good location within walking distance of Llangollen. It provided a very comfortable stay for our group with 3 small double bedrooms with good firm mattresses. The property was very clean and warm and all the kitchen appliances etc looked new. There was a useful welcome pack including milk in the fridge. Lovely outside seating area overlooking the River Dee and parking space at the front of the house. On a busy road but very quiet inside the property.
