Guest Reviews
- Sean (8/5): -
- Lindsey (1/5): Did not stay asked for refund. - whole place not cleaned properly.
- Romeo (10/5): - Nice and quiet location nice place to get away with friends
- Jacob (10/5): -
- Ruth (1/5): - The property was double booked so we did not stay and still waiting for a refund and compensation
- Habib (10/5): -
- Jane Yearl (5/5): - The area was quiet, the heating worked and fortunately the bedding was clean! Idyllic cottage I'm afraid to say isn't at all idyllic ,the bungalow is in very poor repair and needs some urgent attention inside and out.
The whole place and especially the bathroom would benefit from a deep and thorough clean. You can't use the bath due to the very poor water pressure and it being so large it would take far to long to fill plus be cold by the time it had. It was also dirty!
We were only staying the one night thankfully, and wouldn't have stayed any longer. We certainly wouldn't recommend.
The property is currently up for sale and this might explain why it isn't be kept up to letting standards.
- Antony (8/5): - Staff communication was brilliant
- Craig (6/5): - The accommodation was great for location and practicality. The ability to accommodate our group was great too. With super comfy mattresses. In areas the accommodation required some attention. But overall served purpose, should a longer stay have been required it would have served adequately.
- Pamela (4/5): A disappointing stay. - It was spacious and the settes were very comfy. Handy location for meeting up with family who live near Wetherby. The whole property was in a bad state of neglect. It looked like there had been no repairs for years! It felt dirty, although it was actually clean.
The barbeque that was listed as being a thing you could use was disgusting; the whole garden was in a bad state of neglect too. Also no oven gloves (& we did use the oven) and only one shelf in the oven. And no bottle opener. We had to go out and buy one!
There was a"For sale" sign at the front and when we looked online it was "sold subject to contract" so I expect the host just couldn't be bothered to make it look better as it'll soon be gone!
- Sandra (10/5): Fantastic cottage - Beautiful location so quiet and peaceful I needed to work and it was ideal Great communication with host The garden area was lovely, private and secure Shower was fantastic Cant think of anything
- VANESSA TOMLINSON (10/5): LOVELY STAY - Lovely House Nothing Not To Like.
- Michelle (8/5): - No hassle parking, spacious 3 bedrooms, relaxing garden Understand why decor not refined due to being up for sale
- Katy (3/5): Poor - Nothing House smelled of damp and was grubby . Not what i expect from a holiday rental. More like student accommodation.
- Jonny (8/5): Very good -
- Abbood (7/5): Good -
- Sean (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zakey (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (10/5): Exceptional - The property was spacious, clean, in a very quiet location and had everything we needed for our stay. Host was great, answered all our questions and everything was simple and clear, thank you for having us. Nothing
- Desmond (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vince (1/5): Unhygienic facilities, below health and safety standards - Trees outside How badly unkept it was, this property would fail any health and safety standards.
Broken glass mirrors, cracked tiles, corroded screws protruding on door hinges, unhygienic facilities overall
- Jessica (8/5): Lovely family house in good location - The host contacted me and said there was a problem with the property, so I was asked to accept a different property nearby. The new property was really nice.
The property was spotlessly clean and was very comfortable. The only reason I gave 8 out of 10 is because I had picked the first property as it had twin beds for my boys in the same room, and it had a family dining table. The new property had beds in different rooms, or a double, but no twins, and no dining table.
- Sonny (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jenny (10/5): Great stay for one night, we would stay again. - Amazing bathroom, overall a spacious accommodation, with a great sized garden too. Would love to have seen Christmas decorations!
