Guest Reviews
- Carolina (10/5): Magical ! - Location and attention to details … all staff works to provide a sensorial experience ! Excellent, beautiful and moving experience ! The road to get there ! Very long and bumpy.. fortunately our car was prepared for that kind of ride !
- Ana Cristina (10/5): -
- Ashe (10/5): Luxurious stay in the winery, needed more time! - What an experience! This is an amazing property with impeccable service. The rooms are absolutely beautiful and large with lovely furnishings. A bottle of Malbec was waiting on the table in the room. Separate half bath and shower had amazing temperature control and pressure. Fireplace setup with extra firewood in common area, had a very cozy fire all evening. The views over the winery from the rooms were amazing. The gym had everything required, also had a tennis court, pool room, table tennis room, bocce court, large pool, gardens, multiple walking paths. The blue path at sunrise through the winery was stunning. As was the red through the village. Wish that I had booked more days to experience everything! The dinner was a bit basic/simple for the price/compared to the luxury of all of the other aspects of the hotel.

- Alfredo Tomas Ruschner (10/5): - Todo perfecto y de buena calidad Nada

- Andrew (10/5): A truly memorable experience! - Impossible to fault. Spectacular hotel in a spectacular location. The addition of wine tasting and James Turrell experience completed the experience. Can't think of anything!
- Paolo (10/5): -
- Clinton (10/5): It is a perfect wine countty getaway! - Remote, clean and great staff. A bit over-priced-maybe by 20%.
We spent perfect day and night in here! Loved the stuff, excursion, museum, wine! Place maintained very well and the room was spacious and cosy, plus the views was like in the movie! Food could be better, wasn’t bad, but wasn’t perfect too, 8 from 10.

- Ana (10/5): - The place is incredibly beautiful and the staff is really nice The food was okay and i expected more from the wine tasting and the horse walm
- Beat (9/5): -
- MARCO ANTONIO (10/5): -
- ana (4/5): Do not go - Beautiful property with excellent wines Terrible service I was supposed to leave the hotel at 9am but there was no one at the reception to check me out nor was there anyone remotely in sight to serve breakfast as well. Had to leave late because of the hotel which charged U$440 per night for this lack of service and professionalism
- Marcia (10/5): -
- Dietmar (10/5): Fantastic - Absolutely top of the range. A hidden gem in the mountains Very long way to reach the place, 100+ km of gravel roads (very scenic nevertheless)
- Fernando (10/5): Espectacular!! - Excelente nivel.
- Jane (9/5): Comfortable, relaxing stay in a beautiful location - We had a fantastic stay. Enjoyed the pool as much as the exhibition.

- Sandy (10/5): The wine tour was excellent, Connie was very informative. The James Turrel museum was the highlight. What a fantastic pl - Beautiful hotel with amazing gardens. N/A
- Wendy (10/5): Amazing Adventure of a Lifetime! Go!! - Amazing in every way! Our third stay, we absolutely love Estancia Colome & find our way back as often as we can. You feel like royalty staying at this incredible, well-heeled hacienda in the middle of nowhere with huge, high-ceilinged quarters overlooking unbelievable views across the vineyards & valley. First class dining overseen by Patricia, a classy, Michelin accomplished chef consultant. The pool in the vineyard with a feeling of zen soaking in the surroundings. The well-trained staff at the estancia & the bodega & museum. The wine!! Best of Argentina. Their Colome Torrontes is our house wine at home in our vineyard in Paso Robles, California. The fun is getting there on narrow dirt roads winding through wild & untamed wilderness, like an Indiana Jones ride. We forded small streams & spotted several foxes en route. This is an adventure you should not miss in your lifetime. There is nothing not to like. This is as good as it gets!
- Diego (10/5): Perfect - Everything Wi fi connection was poor
- Jorge (8/5): Very good -
- Marta (8/5): Unique winery in a traditional estancia . - incredible place far from the city, old house very well remodeled keeping the style , rooms were confortable and clean, nice people, good wine, amazing James Turrel Museum, everything was very tidy and well kept. The food was not at the level of the place and price, wine tasting were only 3 wines, none of them top of the line. I had to carry my 2 bags back to the car.
- Yasmine (10/5): Not easy to get there, but absolutely worth the trip! - This estancia is truly exceptional. Located in beautiful surroundings, it offers top-level facilities, rooms, gardens,... in an amazingly peaceful atmosphere.
A visit to the James Turrell museum is a unique experience.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The wine and food are of high quality.
Our room was extremely spatious, it was more like a small appartment than a hotel room. Getting there is quite the adventure. We came from Salta with a rental car (no 4X4) which was doable but challenging. Take into account that your max speed on the dirt roads is around 50 kph.
Upon arrival, we were welcomed by a very friendly receptionist, but unfortunately she did not speak any English.
- Edvardm (10/5): Exceptional - This is a unique place of extraordinary beauty and energy! Unfortunately, we had only one day to spend there but it needs more, probably 2 or 3 days. Internet connection could be better but in such a remote location that was expected.
