They clean them every day, which doesn't happen in Sri Lanka.I really would have loved to stay longer at this amazing place with its lovely people!!!”

The location is just perfect, peaceful, and so close to the beach. I truly felt relaxed and happy throughout my stay. Everything was clean, cozy, and full of positive vibes. I’ll never forget this experience It's just a few steps to the beach, and the view is incredible. The best stay I've had in southern Sri Lanka!hotel were given such a great memorable experience for my friend. Loved everything, nothing to dislike!

The location was a little out the way of the main area but was perfect for us as we had peaceful at night. With a beach only a couple minutes down the road. The host were fantastic and friendly. The son was very helpful and lovely!
• Sophy (7/5): Comfortable, incredible views - Amazing view out over the sea. The rooms are large and clean. Beds comfortable and linen to good standard. Bathrooms basic but clean. Air con good.. I actually loved my stay here and we would return. Breakfast is at the Rocky Point which is more like a proper little hotel/rooms, a 5/3 min walk either across the beautiful beach or on rocky roads. Really the only downside to Blue Winds is that it’s a little walk to Gokarna Beach to eat in evening or a Tuk Tuk somewhere else .. such as the Cactus lounge which is on a great beach about 8 min Tuk Tuk drive away. Gokarna beach is not really for swimming.. you can jump in the waves to cool off but only strong swimmers to go beyond. The people who run Rocky Point are lovely Inaccessible/ badly signed. Took out driver a while to find

• Rekamn (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel is very accommodation. We arrived at 10AM in the morning and they checked us in right away. Our request for a late 5PM check out was also quickly approved when I contacted them online after booking our room. They even made up our room when we went out on our check out day. Overall, the staff are all very patient, friendly and helpful. There was a dispute with the price difference which though wasn't resolved to my satisfaction, I still commend the staff for their professional attitude and patience throughout the dispute.
• Gukanaj (9/5): Superb - What a fantastic stay we had! Our room was spacious and cleaned quickly and efficiently each morning. The breakfast outside in the resturen with the wind blowing was superb! . The grounds and pool all were just wonderful. The location is perfect nestled between two fantastic beaches that are just a few minutes walk away. All around great stay! I’d highly recommend Bluewind resort!

• Yidi (1/5): Scam hotel. Do not come - For your SAFETY, please avoid this hotel. It is extremely awful, and the map location is false; it does not lead to the hotel. They only have a fake location on Google Maps. And they will direct you to another one on whatsapp. All communication is through WhatsApp. The hotel owner is not in Sri Lanka but in China, which means the timing of when you can receive service depends on when the foreigner can read your WhatsApp messages, lol. It took us almost an hour to find this hotel through a nearly 5-kilometer journey in a village and swamp. The road to the hotel is very poor, all muddy, and our car got stuck in the swamp right in front of the hotel for ten hours. We couldn't leave and were forced to find local rescue services at our own expense. During this process, the hotel did not offer any help or compensation. The hotel also had no hot water, and there was only one security guard on the entire premises, with no reception area. It is clear that the owner sacrifices the guests' interests to save money. Please disregard all the previous good reviews; the situation is now very different. The conditions are terrible, and the huge hotel only has these three rooms, no safes, and there is no service, security, or any staff. There is no safety guarantee. The bed sheets in the room were dirty, and the bathroom was full of bugs, and we even saw snake. All the equipment in the hotel is labeled in Chinese, and the TV and other facilities have no English, making it impossible to understand. The owner does not accept credit cards and cannot provide any invoices; they only want cash and very suspecious payment methods, so please be cautious. In conclusion, 85% of the facilities and services listed on the pages are non-functional. We have filed complaints and reviews with the Sri Lanka Tourism Board and Tax Department. We have also made a formal complaint on Booking.com and hope this fake hotel will be taken down as soon as possible.

• Nazish (10/5): Serene and quiet, perfect... - Property location is beautiful and full of peace; the care-taker, Lakmal is an excellent host on the property, very humble and professional person who will address all concerns promptly. Additionally, I thanks Ms. Chamodi, Manager, she is very supportive. No food at property, breakfast is arranged at third party location..
• Chris (8/5): Shared private beach villa - The villa is located above a quiet small beach 6 minutes tuk tuk from Tangalle. Spacious clean rooms with aircon and minibar [2 x complimentary water] and free WiFi. The bedding was very new and clean, on a king bed. New white towels and a newly installed shower with ample hot water. There is no catering provided. Breakfast is included in the daily rate but may be taken at an adjoining hotel [a short walk along the beach]. Payment was possible by scanning a link sent to my Whatsapp number, but I suggest you arrange this prior to checkout. An easy 15-minute walk to Silent Beach and 5 min walk to Goyambokka Beach...where you may get a beach chair, food, and drinks all day. Only 1 security man onsite. No reception. All communication is via Whatsapp. Overall, it is a tidy resort. However, general maintenance of the property [garden, paths, outdoor areas] needs attention, including a must daily beach clean-up. Tourists like clean environments.
• Marzena (9/5): Superb - Breakfast was great. View from room amazing. Place was so quiet!!! Room and bathroom was very big. Perfect room, if you want to rest and chill. It's really difficult to find a place. Path to sea and breakfast was difficult to walk (I didn't struggle, but remember it, if you have any disability). Place is the middle of massive garden, so if you hate spiders and bags you won't like it. For me it was exceptional level for service I received
• Kang (5/5): Should not be called "resort" - The accommodation is located at the end of a hill, providing an amazing view of the sea. Has a private little beach entrance. Very quiet and clean. Large room and bathroom. Accommodation helped us book a tuktuk early in the morning. I was contacted continuously through Whatsapp after booking with standard copypasted texts. The person who greeted us at the accommodation was clearly not the same person and did not speak much English (the latter we did not mind that much). We had the entire place for ourselves, but honestly it felt deserted. Breakfast is not served here, but in a different accommodation (5 min walk), which was not communicated to us. There is a small mini fridge in the room with some water, coke and beer for 2x the regular price elsewhere, no other amenities. Bed is too short (< 2.00 meters). Most surprising aspect were the security camera's on the property which would follow your every moment. In all my years of traveling, I have never encountered something like this. Honestly if it weren't for the views, I would have given a lower rating.
