Guest Reviews
- Paul (10/5): 11/10 - Host Daniela was very accommodating. Our cruise ship changed boarding times and we were allowed to stay longer. Everything we required was in the apartment. Location perfect Liked it all
- Joachim (9/5): Just perfect - The Host was very helpful, even picked us up at the train station and droped us of at the cruise terminal
- Terence (9/5): We had a great time at this place - Large roomy apartment.
Well equipped, good heating.
Good location
Attentive hosts A little dated by today’s standards.
- Nickolay (10/5): in a holiday but feels like home - The location is great: both central and quiet. I don't think of anything.
- Edward (10/5): A wonderful stay and a warm and friendly host - Daniela is a perfect hostess. She met us at the train station, where we loaded our luggage into her car. We were taken directly to the flat located in a very attractive residential area. I carried our bags up to the flat and Daniela showed us everything that we needed for our stay. She doesn't speak english, but we were able to communicate very well via a translate app. The flat was fully equipped with anything we could wish for, especially the washing machine. We had been in Italy for several days and it was a luxury to have clean clothes. Daniela gave us recommendations for nearby restaurants-we had dinner at Stasera Pizza, just about a 5-minute walk away (excellent pizza and friendly owners).
The next morning, we had breakfast at Chalet del Pincio, a wonderful pastry shop right around the corner from the flat. Daniela wasn't able to take us to the port to catch our cruise ship, so she made arrangements for friends to pick us up. Maximilian and Sandra are truly kind and wonderful people, the kind of people you wish you could meet, but seldom do. They collected us at the flat and took us to the port and would accept nothing for it.
We have visited Rome in the past and it's a wonderful city. If you've seen Rome before, consider a stay in Civitavecchia-it's a beautiful city, not too large, with much to see if you have the time. I wish we had a few more days there and more days at Casetta Ventura. We will stay there the next time we come to Italy. Nothing-a perfect stay!
- Nikolai (10/5): Exceptional -
- Remus (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and functional apartment in an older building with high ceilings. The owner waited for us at the train station and dropped us off at the cruise terminal the next day. Excellent service that was above and beyond of what we were expecting.
- Karin (10/5): A hidden gem. - A perfect location! The apartment is spacious and has everything you would need, plus a lovely balcony over looking the garden. There is a bar 30 metres away and a supermarket 100 metres away.
It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the seafront which is stunning and there are plenty of choices for great restaurants! Everything was great!
