There was a fairly loud humming noise caused, it seems, by a hot tub in the apartment directly overhead. I contacted the company about this in the morning and a lady said that she would look into it and get back to me but she never did. It would probably only bother guests who, like me, are sensitive to noise.
Trefor (8/5): Nice spot in the centre of town. - Location was exceptional Secure. Clean and comfy. Car parking was closed by but not on site which was tricky for my wife with mobility issues. There was a lot of bumping and banging about from the floor above. I couldn't get the air conditioning to work - but I am a technophobe!

Kay (10/5): A great stay! - The Kilkenny Suites, in a phrase, Made Life Easy. My family and I rented three rooms for the weekend- we had a retired couple, a single couple, and a young family. On arrival one of our party struggled with access- Kelli was on hand in literally 2 minutes without having been asked to make herself available beforehand, and she couldn't have been nicer! There was not only coffee and tea in the rooms when we arrived, as would be typical to expect, but also a loaf of bread, orange juice, milk, sweets and much more- at no extra cost! We were set up with the essentials and more from the offset as a result, which made life so much easier. The apartment itself was set up wonderfully and had some truly useful additional features. One of these was lighting under the bathroom cupboards that came on automatically- it was low enough light to use the bathroom at night without waking anyone sleeping in the same room (especially young children). Having a microwave in the suites was also great and really useful. The accommodation allowed people of all ages to enjoy their stay easily. It almost goes without saying that the accomodation itself was elegant, modern and stylish, and the central location was perfect. A really great stay that was enhanced so much by the accommodation! All is perfect, well situated in the center of Kilkenny and if you rent a car, the location is about 5min from the parking. Don't hesitate to book, one thing is sure: you'll be completely satisfied. Jean (7/5): Adequate but overpriced room. - The location in the centre of High St was near lots of sightseeing attractions as well as being close to restaurants and pubs. The bed was clean and comfortable. The bathroom with shower, basin & toilet was absolutely fine. As were the towels and complimentary toiletries. I mistakenly believed that there would be a kitchenette and a sitting area. The room that I booked had a small kettle and a small round table with 2 straight chairs. The window overlooked a pretty grotty yard. I was a bit shocked when I saw this as I booked it based on the rating “9.2”. I rang the Kilkenny Suite contact number which went to answering. Half an hour later I received a call back from Kerri. She was quite pleasant but didn’t actually help.

No cooking facilities for breakfast microwave. Only . Easy to gave air frier . Also windows don’t open so fire escape bit strange and scary

Karen (10/5): Wonderful stay in a lovely place - I booked a suite and a room with 2 beds for my 3 adult sons and myself. Kerri made sure our rooms were on the same floor so we could close the hallway door and open the room doors to make it more like an apartment, which was wonderful. She left milk and cold water in the refrigerator of the suite and bread and jams and snacks on the counter, which made us feel very welcome. There was also coffee, tea, sugar, and a kettle, etc. Kerri sent instructions in advance and check-in was easy. Kilkenny Suites is accessed by a door on the High Street, which took me a second to find since the only sign is a lovely little plaque on the wall of the building. But you feel like you are living in your own flat in the middle of this very charming town. The suite and the guest room were very comfortable and clean, and the bathrooms were also very clean (the bathroom in the suite had a heated floor! I didn't check if the other one did). The suite overlooked the High Street but we didn't hear any outside noise, which was great since Kilkenny is a lively town! The bedroom overlooked a garden in the back. We loved Kilkenny, the apartment and the location, and really appreciated Kerri's thoughtful hospitality. We would definitely stay again! I can't think of anything that could have been better.

The bathroom sink did not drain and the over-flow opening did not function either. TV asked for a PIN number and turned itself on and off a few times.

Modern, spacious, very quiet, huge balcony with jacuzzi and beautiful views, fully equipped with everything I needed - and all of this right in the city centre. Also the communication with host was great and easy, and all of my little extra requests were fulfilled. Amazing place!

RCalnan (9/5): Great location, but a little noisy. - The unit has a great location close to everything. It is very quiet in the unit when the windows are closed. The only noise was from the unit above. The floors in the unit and the unit above are very thin so they shake. While there isn't noise from the street, due to great windows, there is noise between the units.

Roisin (8/5): - Host provided bedding for sofa bed when requested we booked this place because it had a sofa bed as well. However, there was no bedding for it. Apparently you have to request it specially. That said, the host came in the evening whlle we were out and made up the extra bed for us. No hob or oven in the kitchen Just a microwave. Luckily we didnt try to cook!
Maxine (8/5): - The property was right in the middle of the main street. So central to everything. It was clean, had all we needed and they supplied eye masks and ear plugs and slippers. The coded entrance was good and effective. I recall a fridge, and air conditioning. Parking wasn’t close by. We parked behind Dunnes as we had to leave our large suitcases in the car due to them not being easy to carry up stairs as there was not a lift in the building. That was ok because we were only there 2 nights. But we had to run to the car a few times to get things out. It wasn’t too bad parking there but it is advised to park at two other locations which we didnt see until later. The ear plugs were used the second night but that was because Im a light sleeper, and we had to have the window open to let air in the room, its not very big but did the job.

April (10/5): We did overall really love our stay at the suites - Location, location location. The air conditioner was so crisp and cool! I had a fabulous day. Might recommend looking into bedding that is breathable in the night. Felt like it was a sweat trap.
Amy (9/5): We would stay again. - Great location. Comfortable bed. Had air conditioner. The bed slept hot. Needed a sheet not just a duvet.
