• Danielle (10/5): Peace & Comfort in an incredible location!! - John is a wonderful host, he facilitated our transfers, helped organize the buffalo tour and was a delight to talk to. Joanes beach is very beautiful and we saw an amazing moon rise there. The pousada is super comfortable, from the bed, to shower, reliable internet service and the wonderful pool. Breakfast was hearty with eggs, fruit juice, coffee, fruits, sandwiches and John’s yummy banana bread. I had a serious health issue during our stay and had to seek emergency care. John drove us to the ER and waited until I was released, which took half a day and took us back to the pousada. We absolutely loved this stay and highly recommend. John is a super host!

A calm, beautiful place to enjoy Illah de Marajó - We totally enjoyed our stay at the Pousada - the rooms were super spacious, totally clean, decorated with love, in general a very calm and save place with a beautiful garden, an outside eating area and a pool. John and Daisy really made us feel like home there, picked us up from the ferry, prepared delicious, local food for us at our individual preferences and helped us out with everything we needed. -

Da simpatia dos proprietários. Da calmaria e tranquilidade do lugar. O quarto possui dois espaços para dormir. Na parte térrea, a cama era bastante confortável e aprazível. E ainda tem um sofá-cama satisfatório. No quarto superior, o ar-condicionado não chegava, o que o deixou praticamente inutilizável, devido o calor excessivo da região.

• MAEVHA (10/5): Un vrai petit havre de paix tenu par des hôtes adorables, où l’on se sent tout de suite comme à la m - Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour à la Pousada ! John et Daisy sont des hôtes attentionnés, bienveillants et toujours à l’écoute. Leur sens du partage et leur gentillesse ont rendu notre séjour vraiment spécial. Le petit-déjeuner est copieux et délicieux (mention spéciale pour le gâteau à la banane 😋). L’emplacement est idéal, calme avec deux jolies plages à proximité pour profiter pleinement du soleil et de la mer. Et quel bonheur, au retour de la plage, de savourer une caïpi au bord de la piscine préparée par John 🍹 ! La Pousada propose des transferts pour se déplacer sur l'île et si vous demandez en avance il est possible de louer une voiture ou une moto. Nous recommandons cet endroit les yeux fermés, un vrai havre de paix !

He can arrange transport, car rental and activities. Joanes is quiet, but there are some restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the stay very much. -

• Eric (10/5): A relaxing stay at a great Pousada - On behalf of my brother in law and my nephew I'm posting a review of their stay. Enjoyed the stay in the Pousada and especially the swimming pool, relaxed athmosphere and daily breakfast with fresh local products. Also the dogs were a joy to have company. The first day the sink was broken but we got a discount for the night and the issue was fixed very fast. We highly recommend staying at Reloday if you're in Joanes. We also stayed at another Pousada for a few days but Reloday has a much higher service level!
• Eric (10/5): A lively Pousada run by a very friendly staff - A very good and friendly atmosphere. We stayed for one week and everyday we felt very welcome and the owners were very helpfull during our stay. Not many times you can consider those running a pousada as friends but we felt we were like friends quite fast. We also spent some time together with the owners when we went out for a nice stay at a local natural pool. The owners went beyond what you could expect during a stay. Giving us lifts to the beach, waterpark and other locations. Also when we needed something everything was taken care of in a matter of minutes. On our way back we used the transfer to the harbor, a very relaxing way of transport. Since I'm a vegetarian and sometimes the options can be limited I thoroughly enjoyed the food I took with me was prepared for me. Also my family and I enjoyed the daily fresh breakfast with local cheese, bread, eggs, fruit and cake. The meals were also very good. There were some shows during and stay and we also enjoyed these. Even more because of the cocktails served and the lively atmosphere during the shows. The pool is also very good and John cleans the pool everyday. All in all a very nice stay and highly recommended if you inted to stay in Joanes. Nothing
• Marcelo (10/5): Absolutely perfect stay - We had an amazing time at Reloday. Very comfortable, modern, well equipped rooms. Excellent breakfast. Pool area is so beautiful and relaxing. Staff is attentive to every detail in your stay. They took care of all our needs and provided great recommendations for tours and restaurants. One of my daughters got sick one day and they did all they could to make her feel better, from providing an infusion of natural herbs and plants, to cooking her special treats from the local cuisine. Thank you John and team for making us feel home and making our stay at Reloday the highlight of our vacations in Brazil!
