• Larissa (10/5): We had a wonderful stay 👍🏻 - Loved this apartment, beautifully renovated and super cozy. Being next to restaurants and having a coffee shop in the building was so convenient for morning breakfast. The host helped us for organizing our airport transfer and booked some activities. The only downside is the building stairs feel a bit dated and need some paint job but once you are inside the apartment itself is perfect. 🏝️👌
• Aurora (10/5): As a single lady visiting, I felt very safe. - Very well, located, literally few steps and you are at the beach! I liked that I can also cook, all ustensils available, they even offered equipments to use at the beach ( towels, ball, snorkeeling mask etc.) That doesn’t have a lift, and it is located at 2 floor. It get’s super hot in one of the balconies because of the AC located in the balcony. When it is off, it is a pleasure to stay there.
• Bandrejzzz (3/5): Не рекомндую.! - + только за расположение, хотя если у вас есть авто, то и этот плюс по сути не существенен. Красиво сделаны фото. Это все. Телевизор еще отличный есть. Вообще не понял такого высокого рейтинга данного жилья. Унитазы не работают (слив), все старое, в душе воду настроить не возможно (или кипяток, или холодная) Муравеное царство на кухне просто трешшш. Ни совка, ни метлы, ни тряпки. Сейфа нет. В гостинной-кухне НЕТ кондея. Кондей в спальне работает шумновато, на балконе стоит насос, когда моешься он шумит ужасно. В общем перекантоваться можно, но если б я рассматривал на долгосрок да еще и с детьми, то съехал бы в первый день.
• anis (7/5): - Clean, spacious and convenient place to stay in Flick en Flac. Two minutes walk to the beach. As the check-out time was 12 noon and our flight was late in the evening, Beenesh took us sightseeing for three hours by car before dropping us at the airport at no extra cost. Hope to stay here again next year. Thank you David and Beenesh. As we arrived late, the Appartment is situated on top floor and there is no lift so we had to carry all the luggage up the stairs in pitch darkness as the lights were not working.
• Lonene (8/5): A lovely apartment right by the beach and restaurants. Quintessentially Flic en Flac - The apartment was right by the beach and near many shops and restaurants so everything was in very close walking distance. The apartment itself was spacious, there was air conditioning and laundry facilities and everything that was great. After a few days I really felt like a home away from home. Very clean and very cozy. There is a club/bar right across the street so sometimes the noise levels were a bit much. Finding parking was sometimes tricky as we were right by the beach but we managed to find a spot each time. The water pressure was sometimes low but it came back after a while, it would change throughout the day.
• Collet (5/5): - Overall, everything was good. There was an issue with the water supply; however, the owner responded very quickly by installing a water tank and resolving the problem. The only concern with the room was a mouldy smell, which triggered my nasal allergies.

• Elizaveta SOLOVEVA (10/5): - Wonderful island of Mauritius! The apartments are located as comfortably as possible for independent tourists! The ocean (an ideal beach, just over 5 km long, where it is comfortable to walk and swim) is within walking distance (2 minutes walk from the house). Restaurants and shops are within walking distance, there is something to do in the evening! The apartments themselves are cozy, comfortable, equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay! David (the owner of the apartments) is very caring, tried his best and made our vacation comfortable! He helped with the transfer from the airport to the apartments, and from the apartments to the airport! (the prices were lower than a regular taxi), which was very nice! Thank you for this amazing experience and beautiful life! 🙏❤️💫

Useful kitchen even if you don’t cook Fungus and mold in common hall - un fresh air there, low level cafes and restaurants nearby, strange neighbors in a little loud cars sometimes

• Leon (3/5): Would have been a decent place to stay for the money if it wasn't for the terrible smell - The apartment was easy to locate. It has easy walking access to restaurants and the beach (though not the best section of it). The host is very nice, responsive, and tries to make your stay comfortable within what he can do. The apartment is located in a building that seems old and mostly uninhabited. We were pretty sure that on certain nights we were the only ones in the building. There are several parking spots by the building but they are not reserved. If you are coming home around dinner time, the chances of finding a parking spot by the building are slim to none. Expect to look around for street parking. You can usually find something within 300 feet (100 m) from the building. The worst part of the stay was the bad smell from both bathrooms, particularly from the master bathroom. On our arrival we were "greeted" by the strong smell in the apartment what we wrote off to using excessive cleaning supplies by the cleaning crew before our arrival. However, by day 3 it was pretty evident that the smell of cleaning solution was masking a much worse smell coming from the air vents in the bathrooms. Seems like the airflow is reversed. Instead of taking the air out of the apartment, the air goes from the airducts inside the apartment. Keeping the bathroom doors shut helped a little, but as soon as you open the doors, the smell floods the apartment. It was so bad so bad that we had to start looking for alternative accommodations, but due to this being the New Years week everything was sold out. Eventually, after finding a single room in a nearby hotel, we had to split so at least some of us could get a break from the smell. The owner did come over at our request to examine the situation and admitted to being able to smell the odor. He blamed the smoking (we do not smoke) and humidity on the smell and advised us to use copious amount of Febreze (what did not work). Even a week after we left the apartment the smell lingered in our cloths, even those that had never been taken out of the suitcases while we were there.

Really feels like home, would definitely come again! The owner is wonderful, always there for anything you need and even organized cheap dolphin swimming and hiking trips for us! 🥰 /

• Ricardo (7/5): Good value for the money…but… - the apartment has a nice renovated living room. the location is very good, right in front of the beach. the kitchen is good enough to cook light meals. Bathroom needs urgent renovation. There is a generator from a laundry shop below the apartments that runs 24 hours a day and makes an impossible noise for anyone to sleep. Only for that reason i wouldn’t stay here again.

It is just across the beach where you can find many food trucks so that’s a nog bonus. The balcony is spacious and really comfortable. • Welwyn (10/5): Excellent Apartment and a great host - Ideal location, within a minutes walk to Flic en Flac beach and a variety of great restaurants nearby. The apartment is very clean, spacious and newly renovated; well equipped for a pleasant homely stay. Well ventilated balconies with comfortable sitting. Kitchen is with new appliances. David is a wonderful host, friendly and very welcoming, responsive and eager to help, with lots of good information about tours, car rentals, etc. Overall excellent experience, would highly recommend.

It was lovely and confortable, very clean, and well decorated. The bed was very cosy, and kitchen well equipped. We were welcomed by our host, David, with attention and kindness. Wе especially appreciated the recommendations and help he provided to plan our day-trips and excursions. Thank you for your availability day or night for the smallest and insignificant details! Location is amazing, right next to the beach. We highly recommend this flat and hope to visit it again soon.
• Daniela (1/5): I definitely cannot recommend it! - The apartment is well located, 2 minutes from the beach. I decided to stay in the apartment for the whole time because I had already prepaid for 3 nights and I was not going to get my money back if I left. You have to deal with an owner who is constantly controlling you. At check out he told me that he knew exactly when I was leaving and when I was entering the apartment. Was he spying on me? I didn't have a blanket to sleep. The apartment is located on the second floor, which is the last floor of the building and that's where the heat is concentrated, it's a sauna. You can only turn on the air conditioning in the bedroom at night because the owner is constantly watching whether you have the air conditioning on or not. The owner told me that the apartment cost a lot of money and that's why he doesn't have blankets to offer 🤷🏻‍♀️ The microwave is not working, you don't have the basic things in the kitchen, like salt. There is no elevator and you have to climb many stairs. The owner crossed the limits and entered the apartment without my permission while I was away. In addition, he asked me for a deposit of 5000 rupees which I had not read in his rules. I have never had such a bad experience with booking.com

• Diana (9/5): Excellent. Highly recommended - Ideal location. All facilities are of a walking distance. Host was super friendly & always reacheable . Apartment was clean, fresh & newly renovated. Kitchen equipped with new appliances. Overall, my experience was fantastic. Highly recommend everyone for a peaceful get away . We experienced a 30 min powercut, but this was the case in the whole neighbourhood.
