Guest Reviews

- Christopher (7/5): Is defiantly not a luxury hotel but it’s a cozy one. Pool was close and dunes are walking distance - Great view to the dunes

- Ahmed (10/5): - The location is very near to dunes, staff are very friendly.
- Marcin (9/5): Good experience, with a small inconvenience, but I recommend - 1. PERFECT position. You can get there by your car (no camel or 4WD BS) and the desert is just there, you can walk alone.
2. Good price
3. Very nice and helpful staff
4. Good dinner 1. I am genius 3rd level client and they changed my room (from hotel to tent in the camp) just few hours before my arrival (which wasn't nice nor professional) However I accepted it! And they gave me very tasty dinner for free as an excuse, so it was very nice!
2. I slept in the camp (tent) just 100 meters from the hotel (even closer to the 🏜).
3. The tent had everything in it: shower (the water in the evening wasn't hot, but maube because I was the first guest there. In fact in the morning the water was hot). There were also A/C and sockets to plug in electronics.
4. It was windy and rainy so the noise was a bit disturbing, as well as other guests and quads. However it doesn't depend on the owner.
- Tejinder (7/5): Good - Good location. Clean and firm beds. Decent food Very very minimalist facility. Poorly lit rooms, no wifi
- James (10/5): Exceptional - Great place right next to the dunes. Literally down a few steps and you're on the dunes. Very peaceful and restful, plenty of nice shaded seating looking out on the dunes, a magical place to sit and watch as the light changes on the sand. Fantastic generous breakfast, best I had on the whole trip + really comfortable beds!
- Eric (8/5): Prime location for visiting the sand dunes. - Prime location facing the Erg Chebbi Dunes. Clean and sizeable rooms. Seat cushions on patio deck could have been cleaner. Lighting was off and on in the dining area.
- Gosia (10/5): Amazing stay!!! - Amazing views. You could stay by the pool and dunes are next to you. The owner of the place is extremely friendly and helpful! Definitely worth it to stay in here. Highly recommended! Everything was at the highest possible level!!!
- Deborah (10/5): A palace at the bottom of Sahara , great staff great breakfast - Amazing location! Amazing breakfast and staff
- Andrea (10/5): Being treated as Kings of the desert - The hosts were exceptionally nice & helpful. They always helped if needed, even to find a hairdrier in the desert. ;)
The hotel was very nicely decorated & the food was very good & it's all clean and neat.
Having breakfast on the terrace is an absolut blust at the sunrise/ early morning.
I also highly recommend to arrange 4WD & camel riding tours with the stuff's help. Both were very good, most likely once in a lifetime experience.
We were technically alone in the sand castle for 1day & night. It felt like we were the Queen & King of the desert. We felt so mostly due to Slimaine's exceptional care.
- Paul (8/5): Amazing location backing onto the dunes, clean, stylish and with great staff and food. - The location is amazing and staff were very attentive. Like other hotels in Morocco, the number of stars isn’t the same as a European hotel. Ie a 4 star is often more like a 3 star. This hotel is basic, but actually quite stylish in a minimist way.
- Marcus (9/5): One of my most magical night stays in a whole 4 week trip! - Incredible location right on the desert edge. Beautiful big building, made from mud brick and full of traditional construction and details.
Staff super friendly and considerate. Nice and clean everywhere.
- Gabrielius (10/5): Perfect place with 1.000.000$ view of the dunes… strongly recommend to visit this place. - Sliman was the best
- Marcin (10/5): Simply amazing - This place is true gateway to Sahara. The view never gets boring it is hypnotising. On top of that is the crew. Our host Slime made us feel like home. Very chill atmosphere was something we really needed. They also offered us a camping on the dessert which was another unforgettable experience. This place was really a highlight of our trip to Maroko.
- Issam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (8/5): Very good - Amazing location and view from the pool - you can walk straight out onto the sand dunes...
- Akio (8/5): Very good -
- Alexandra (10/5): very satisfied - Hassan and his team made this an absolute dream stay for us. The rooms are luxurious, spacious, clean and so beautiful. The pool views are unparalleled!
But the highlight was the hospitality - the entire team ensured we felt absolutely at home and made arrangements for activities (camel rides, visiting the nomads by 4x4 , etc) so thoughtfully. It was a wonderful experience getting to learn more about the desert culture . 10/10 recommend once in Morocco
- Felix (10/5): Thanks for that awesome experience! - I highly recommend a stay in that beautiful location. Placed right at the edge of the Sahara desert it made our trip to Merzouga unforgettable 🙌 thank you guys!
- Tessa (10/5): Best experience of Marokko - We loved our stay. Hassan and his team are absolutely amazing. You feel immediately at home and the food is delicious! Nothing
- Adrian (10/5): Amazing place with outstanding view of the sand dunes, very good food and very helpful and friendly staff. -
