• Henk (9/5): Neat apartment with great terras - Great and very new apartment with great terras. Very clean also. Our check in did not run well. We booked the morning and this was confirmed but when trying to check in the host was not responding. We had to contact Booking and then we received the check in codes fast. Further contact was smooth. Daylight in the apartment is limited but this is compensated by the terras on the higher floor.

• Andreas (7/5): The Iris Apartments were fine but on another visit we would look for better accommodations. - The Iris Apartments were clean and nice but not particularly special. The shower was excellent and the bed was comfortable. The outdoor deck did not have much of a view and the host's recommendations of restaurants and grocery stores were not particularly compelling. The available parking for our rental car was a bit of a trek from the property.

• Klasson (9/5): - Perfect location in the middle of old town in Monopoli. Super location. The apartment is very nicely decorated and new . Upstairs is a lovely little terrace to use . I would only say the beds are a little uncomfortable but then I slept in the extra bed. But other than that super nice and would definitely recommend

There’s places to park, but can be a walk away. We discovered two big car parks, the day after a parking ticket. Advice to anyone looking to stay: research the parking signs and road markings, and find a car park away from the centre and drop cases off. Other than that, all was perfecto!

• Mary (7/5): Family of 3 - The property was in a fantastic location and we were a few minutes from shops, restaurants and the sea. Air conditioning worked well, enjoyed the walk in double shower. We were allowed to leave our luggage at the property for a few hours after check out which helped a lot. Lack of natural light, it felt very dark in the room. Room is quite small - there was a staircase in the room which didn't lead up to anything - found this rather pointless, more space could be created without it.
• Susan (1/5): Ordinary - I didn’t like the fact that we were promised a code at 3pm. We had been in contact with Francesco earlier at 12.34 and expressed our desire to get to our room. At 3 pm we waited and waited in the heat at the front for the code to come which it did eventually, however late. At one stage we asked for advice regarding parking, he returned our text two and a half hours later. It seems Francesco has other things to do rather than appeal to his guests needs. What was really horrifying was the amount of What’s App messages we then received asking us to withdraw our review. 50 euro was offered to do so. Made the stay even more ORDINARY. It is now one day later and we have woken to a really horrible message. We have deleted Francesco’s number. Fundamentally Francesco if you receive a bad review deal with it and leave people alone.

• Patricia (10/5): MONOPOLI WAS NICE BUT DO NOT RECOMMEND AND WILL NOT RETURN - Location in Monopoli was fantastic, in the city close to restaurants, cathedrals and other points of interest. Host left us a beautiful bottle of wine. Air conditioning was amazing since Monopoli was scorching hot. There is a laundry room for a small fee. Apartment overlooked a beautiful square, balcony across from a beautiful church, St. Leonard's and the environment was quiet and serene. The apartments are easy to access. Highly recommend if you decide to travel to Monopoli I did a lot of research on where to stay in Puglia. I'm convinced that the bloggers and websites are providing very opinioned and often false information on these locations. There does not seem to be verified truth, rather, there is an opinion without the disclaimer that this is an opinion. In this case- There was no place to park. Although the booking.com states that this property comes with parking, it does not. Yes, there is parking but it is absolutely not convenient. You can park on the street and feed a meter- like that's going to make a great vacation, right? Or, you can find a garage. In this case, for another 180 euros IN CASH, our host arranged to have our car stored. He was doing us a favor and we were grateful but I consider this a bait and switch. Baited to get us to believe there is parking when there isn't and then charging for it because you're at the mercy of the situation. We made the best of Monopoli but I would never return. It was crowded, hot and touristy. The restaurants were just OK. The blogs and websites point to wonderful available beaches, however, the good and great ones are not available by car. I booked Monopoli for the beaches. There was only one accessible beach from the property. The entrance to this beach was closed off due to construction and the work could have been adding chemicals to the water because it was impossible to swim in the sea without your eyes and skin stinging. The only redeeming factors of Monopoli were the unforgettable churches -their awe inspiring cathedral and music school. There was a concert outside the cathedral one evening and it was worth the trip. Our host is very connected to the city and I hope he runs for political office because he shared a lot of great ideas for tourist and travel improvement when we explained how disappointed we were in the experience.

Dotata di condizionatori, e la possibilità di godersi momenti di relax sul terrazzo agibile ai locatori. Sito in pieno centro storico, nelle vicinanze: parcheggio, supermercati, bar, negozi . Veramente un punto perfetto per poter ‘abbandonare’ la macchina e goderti delle belle passeggiate. Super consigliato, assolutamente da ritornare.

Monopoli is generally very noisy city but this apartment is separated from the main street and it was so quiet! I just loved the stay here. 100% recommended. -

• Guest (10/5): A perfect stay in a lovely town - Central location but very quiet. We heard no street noise when the windows were shut. The apartment is fully updated. Bed was comfortable. Shower was spacious with excellent temperature control and water pressure. The air conditioning was appreciated when the weather turned hot. Francesco was accommodating and responsive. The room was thoroughly cleaned every other day. We would stay here again without hesitation. It is not a complaint and did not detract from our stay, but guests should be advised that there is a charge to use the common laundry facilities.

Donne des bonnes adresses. Juste un manque de lumière naturelle. Compensé par pas mal de lumières de plafond ( ce qui est bien penser)

The location might be a challenge if you have very heavy luggage - your car or taxi can only stop outside of the old town. Take that into consideration.
