Guest Reviews
- Howard (10/5): - Lovely location amazing views
- Laura (10/5): - Everything! Nothing!
- Matthieu (10/5): - Un superbe séjour à Dozmary Cottage au coeur des Cornouailles. C'est idéal pour partir à la découverte de cette région entre terre et mer.
De plus, le cottage est très bien équipé et accepter les chiens.
Encore merci !
- Julian (7/5): Great location, needs maintenance - Location Furniture needs updating, sofas were really uncomfortable and damaged, dining chairs were dangerously unstable requires maintenance
- Tamsin (10/5): -
- Angela (10/5): The charming cottage wrapped us in tranquility and rustic warmth. - We loved everything about the property. The day that we had to leave I was in a rush as my children’s grandmother fell over and hurt herself so we had to see her before we left otherwise I would expressed our love for the property face to face. The only thing we didn’t like was the fact we had to leave. My children wanted to stay.
- Mary (10/5): - This cottage is absolutely beautiful, had a lovely stay here, host were amazing and very helpfully. The sofa's in the cottage were not very comfy, and after booking I realised the private pool was infact closed (it was one of the main reasons I chose to go here).
- Giorgia (10/5): - La fattoria all'interno della quale è situato il Cottage è splendida.. È un luogo di pace e relax.
Il Cottage è molto bello, pulito e luminoso.
Siamo stati molto bene!
- Lesley (8/5): - How quiet it was and being able to see the goats, chickens and sheep and feed them. Getting the fresh eggs. The kitchen well equiped but needs a masher. Close to Bude, Launceston and Port Isaac. I found the smoke and carbon monoxide detector in the double room kept me awake as flashed every 15 seconds. Also all the beds could benefit from a bit of plywood over the slats as very saggy even the teenagers on the bunk bed felt this.
- Rebecca (10/5): Very peaceful and relaxing great to be away from the busyness - It is a lovely cottage very clean and in a great peaceful place.. lovely to feed the sheep it had everything you needed for a Amazing stay.. Will definitely be going back.. Nothing
- Ruben (9/5): - Cosy apartment. Friendly host. Good location for trips to many places.
- Terry (7/5): Lovely cottage, steam room when showering and no drying facilities in wet weather - Nice location. Only the very small double bed was made up on arrival. We had to ask for bedding for the second bedroom - which is bunk beds. We were there for 3 nights but only 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels were provided so, again, we had to ask for additional towels. On arrival we found a cream tea had been left for us - 4 fruit scones, 2 pots of jam and real Cornish clotted cream which we did enjoy. No drying facilities other than the line in the garden. My wife washed on arrival and the washing was still damp when we left 3 days later. Our first full day there was alternate sun and rain and our second day was vey wet so we spread the clothing onto a drying rack but really, nothing dried fully. There appeared to be an extractor over the bath/shower which came on when the light switch was pulled but the room rapidly became a steam room. There was some sort of grid/vent at the tip of the very small window but no apparent way of opening it. Instructions next to it would have been helpful.
- pmutch (9/5): Total R&R - Amazing to have a private pool which we had all to ourselves, cream tea on arrival was unexpected a lovely touch, loved how relaxed and chilled it all was. Also loved seeing the Animals especially the friendly farm cat. Lou & Jez were lovely and very hospitable, whilst leaving us to do our own thing. Nothing major, so only small points, Sofa's we're not the most comfortable. WiFi times out every 3 hours, and needed to be re-authenticated meaning phone would go offline in the night. Could also benafits from a heated cloths dryer.
- Chelbie (10/5): An amazing place to visit if you’re after a quiet, family time getaway - The location was everything we wanted and more! So peaceful, beautiful and relaxing. There is nothing we didnt like.
- Dawn (10/5): Exceptional - Ideal base fir a days out in cornwall Nothing.
- Siwek (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mrs (10/5): Beautiful Cottage - We absolutely loved our stay at Dozmary Cottage. The cottage is cute and very comfortable. Our host Jeremy was very helpful and its a great add on that you can buy home produced meat from the farm and another local farmer.
The Cottage is perfectly situated for travelling along the north coast of Cornwall.
We will most certainly be back. Nothing
- Yicheng (9/5): Superb - Very peaceful pleace! Owner is very friendly.
- Tracey (10/5): Loved it, perfect cottage and location to, would definitely come again - Perfect for what we needed, beautiful surroundings, I would want to come back but with more family and stay in the larger cottage, fabulous stay would highly recommended I’m not complaining not at all, if I had to change anything it would be the WiFi the connection is not good at all
- Angela (1/5): Illness and intimidation. - Nice location THE FACT that the water made us all ill, one of us very ill that had to get medical attention. Two people had used the water to cook but it was when we all showered is when we got really ill. The water smells of Sheep.
We told the owner at the very time who IS a bully. Stared in my face to intimidate. He is a a typical comic bully. Just shot down our concerns. Said it was something we ate although we never eat at the same place. Never checked the water never showed any concern towards his customers. Certainly needs an education on how to treat people. More importantly I hope he checked the water before something more seriously happened.
- Deryth (6/5): Pleasant -

- June (10/5): Wry peaceful area , - Had everything we needed No phone signal which is not the owners problem , did get a signal when I walked up to the goats ,
- Sian (9/5): Lovely pool area and grounds - The children loved the pool and being able to feed the farm animals.
We loved being able to charge our electric car on site rather than having to find a local charger. Hosts were helpful in ensuring charged was available when required.
- Steve (10/5): Exceptional - So quiet and peaceful.
Jez and Louise were amazing, very helpful Nothing.
