• Tennille (8/5): Beautiful stay in Fort William - We were quite high above the town which let us have some magnificent views over the loch. Beautiful warm stay fit our family of 4 comfortably. With doors closed, the bedrooms were very quiet and dark. This was lovely! In the main living area was a constant hum from the heating system- the hosts have been informed and hopefully will remedy this:-)

• Yong (5/5): Good view and bright, bed bugs annoying - It has a corner view of the lake . Provide sufficient kitchen facilities. Showering water is not hot enough, bed bug bites all over the body after sleeping the single bed. Dishwashing machine broken during the stay

• Richard (8/5): Well appointed property in excellent location making for a very pleasant few days stay while hiking in the area. - Excellent location just 10 minutes walk from Fort William centre. The property has obviously just been renovated to a very high standard so everything was immaculately clean and in as new condition. Inside is a nice light and airy open plan design with modern kitchen and dining bar. Good WiFi and TV streaming channels provided. Outside has a nice decking area with seating with views down to the sea. 3 car parking spaces available also. The second bedroom has two single beds which would be ideal for children but were a bit small for fully grown men. Also the big plump pillows look great in photos but were incredibly uncomfortable to sleep on. All four of us suffered with cricked necks in the morning, so maybe consider taking your own pillows for a good night’s sleep. Also the smoke alarm in the kitchen was very sensitive and went off every time we cooked something. The induction hob takes a bit of getting used to if you’ve not used one before so we found it easier just using the grill and oven.

Excellent communication from the hosts who gave us all the important information via email. Couldn't have picked a better spot. Not too far from the centre and short drive from the foot of Ben Nevis. Just wish we weren't going home tomorrow🥹 Many thanks for some wonderful memories Couldn't locate the hair dryer that was listed on the facilities section. Note to any guest phoning a taxi, none of the drivers have heard of the the cottage and one even hung up on us. We eventually had to give them the Blacksheep bunkhouse address next door which wasn't a major problem.
