- Jasmine (7/5): All in all , we loved our stay and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends, family and others - Location was spot on, only 3 minutes from the marina which was perfect for us. The accommodation included laundry facilities which were a big bonus and outside space and racks to dry laundry. The property had very effective air conditioning. The views both front and back were spectacular. There is a small backyard full of amazing plants - including a banana tree. The front garden was also beautiful and well kept. There was a tv but we didnt use it. The layout of the property was perfect for our needs. The kitchen was clean and well equipped. The bathrooms were lovely and clean and en suite. There was a patio overlooking the garden which was lovely and upstairs a balcony with a stunning view of the marina. We had problems getting hold of the keys and the property manager as we didn't have the contact details. My flight was delayed and when i got to the property i was unable to get hold of the owner as she lived in England and was not answering the phone or messages. Also unbeknown to me, American 5g phones don't work in Antigua, so my friend had to use her British phone which was an unknown number for the host. We had not been given the property manager's details prior to our visit. Ultimately we had to find alternative accommodation for the first night. However, the property manager was able to refund our first night and collected us from the other place, so we feel the problems we had with communication were somewhat mitigated. There were some mosquitoes or other biting insects in and around the property so take insect repellant. The toilet seats didn't fit properly in a couple of the bathrooms and some of the electrical sockets were broken.
