• Karin (9/5): Pretty area, private. - I have stayed in these cabins now 3 times, I think they are very nice, but they can get very hot on a sunny day. As a child we used to camp at Hessenheem many years. For us it is a nice place to stay and visit family and go for very nice walks. The sheets are not the best quality, they can get pretty thin. The laundry factory should do a better check post washing.

• Sarah (7/5): - Es war sehr sauber. Es kam wiederholt zu Stromausfall, wenn neben der Sauna noch andere elektrische Geräte, Licht o.ä. abgeschaltet waren. Die Betten sind sehr schmal.
• elke ka (9/5): Haus am Wald - Sehr schön angelegter und gepflegter Park mit viel altem Baumbestand und kleinem Freibad. Die Mitarbeiterinnen an der Rezeption waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Chalet war gut ausgestattet (Nespresso-Kaffeemaschine, Spülmaschine, Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach, etc.) und sauber. Die Matratzen sind weich, was uns aber nicht gestört hat. Durch die vielen großen Fenster (die sich alle abdunkeln ließen) war es wunderbar hell im Haus. Am Haus befand sich ein Parkplatz, weitere Fahrzeuge müssen auf einem zentralen Parkplatz abgestellt werden. Bedingt durch die dünnen Wände war es im Haus sehr hellhörig. Das Haus verfügt nur über ein Badezimmer mit Toilette, was bei einer vollständigen Belegung (6 Personen) eine ambitionierte Koordination voraussetzt.

• Lisanne (10/5): - We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad! Ruime woonkamer, goede bedden, heel rustig en de sauna was een dikke plus met het koude weer. Verbeter tips: de vloer bij de keuken kraakt nogal en zoals we ook bij de receptie hebben aangegeven, misten we een föhn. We kregen alleen AI gegenereerde berichtjes in het Engels via Booking, maar direct emailen naar het park ging heel vlot.

The staff was quite rude and refused to give us an invoice. We had to sent them the rules of Booking.com to finally receive one. The toilet was also stuffed when we checked in.

• Willemijn (7/5): - Locatie is fantastisch gelegen, het park is heel mooi ruim opgezet en veel mooie natuurlijke speeltuinen. En de ruime woonkamer. Het lijkt of het huis vocht vast houd. Als je thuis komt hangt er elke keer weer een sterke “rottige” lucht die je alleen weg krijgt door alles tegen elkaar open te zetten. Daarna is het weer prima. Huisje is heel gehorig. Het lijkt er op of er helemaal geen isolatie in de wanden zit. Late check-in middels gebruik van sleutelkluisje bleek achteraf wel gewoon mogelijk. Fijn als medewerker die deze verzoeken beantwoordt hier ook over wordt geïnformeerd.
• Tom - Woerden NL (9/5): Luxe huisje in bosrijke omgeving - Ruim, modern ingericht huisje met moderne faciliteiten. Ideale uitvalsbasis voor fietstochten. Sauna beschikbaar en zelfs twee badkamers terwijl er maar één tweepersoons bed is. Ruime tuin, gelegen aan een vijver met vissen. Heel scherp geprijsd. Het restaurant op het park stelt niet veel voor maar is ook heel goedkoop. De bediening van de sauna werkte heel moeizaam.

• Bert (8/5): Prima, rustig en goed verzorgd. - Sauna. Prima toevoeging en makkelijk te gebruiken. Ook was het fijn dat er een goede voorraad servies en bestek was. Je grijpt niet mis. De vloer kraakte behoorlijk om sommige plekken. Hierdoor werd de baby soms wakker wanneer we door de keuken/badkamer liepen.
• Luc (9/5): Heerlijk vrienden weekend in rustige omgeving. - Keurig en schoon. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Met een enorme tuin wat je heerlijk de zon op kunt zoeken. Er is ook een fietsen schuurtje met electra voor het opladen. De tweede slaapkamer was wat aan de krappe kant.

• K.E. (8/5): Heerlijk ruim chalet op een prachtig groen park - Prachtig park in een mooie omgeving. Op het park leuke speeltuintjes, je kan een skelter huren of een avonturenpaadje lopen. Fijn, dat er een bistro op het park aanwezig is. Chalet is heerlijk ruim, waardoor het prima vertoeven is met 6 personen. Grote kavel waar het chalet op staat, dus genoeg ruimte in de tuin voor het hele gezin. Als je van een zacht matras houdt zit je goed. Als je niet vies bent van hier en daar een schimmeltje in de badkamer is er niks aan de hand. Met blote benen weer is het handig om de brandnetels in de tuin zelf weg te halen of om op voorhand zalf te kopen.

• Annieta (10/5): Voor herhaling vatbaar. - Goed uitgerust chalet met buiten een heerlijke loungeset. En zo fijn dat er een zwembad bij het park is. Alles was uitstekend maar als tip misschien een nachtlampje op de kleine slaapkamer en een planchet in de douchehoek. Maar verder nx op aan te merken, leuke inrichting ook en heerlijk rustig gelegen.

• Karin (9/5): Awesome, and peaceful. - I have known Hessenheem since I was a child. My parents had a season tenting spot for many years. I also stayed at the same type of cottage 3 years ago, with my daughter and her family. I enjoy its location. Twente is so beautiful. This old lady biked 320 km in the 3 weeks we were there. Awesome.! The cottages get pretty hot, we had some hot days this May.

She was very welcoming and organised things very efficiently. Will be visiting again for sure. Nothing really to dislike.

There was no clothes Iron or ironing board and no hair dryer. But rest all was fine and clean. There was very poor Reception service or contact with the personnel. Every time i called they were unavailable. There were bed bugs in the twin single beds in the kids room. Both my kids had their bodies full of bed bug bites every morning. After the second night the kids slept with us in our room.

• Henni (8/5): Will be back - Nicely decorated, spacious. Quiet park with lots of nature on the grounds. Mattress is very slippery. Since there was no fitted sheet the flat sheet was more off than on the bed.

• Donna (8/5): Very good - The accomodation was very well equipped. It was nice and quiet. The restaurant was excellant! Too bad it was only open Weds-Sunday. I was a solo traveler. I slept in the double room. I found both mattress's slipped around every time I moved creating a gap and mis-alignment. The matress needs to be secured to the bed base.
