Briony (10/5): If you're looking for a peaceful wilderness getaway, look no further - The most perfect location. Peace, calm and wilderness! A very comfortable room. I loved waking up to sea lions swimming in the inlet. The heater was great for chillier nights too and the bed was very comfortable. Loved it. Nothing!

Barbara (10/5): - Las vistas desde la habitación son inmejorables. La habitación es muy cómoda, vale mucho la pena si quieres desconectar y ver animales. En el caso de reservar el estudio, no puedes llegar con el coche hasta la puerta y si llevas maletas grandes, se agradecería. Por otro lado, hace que el estudio esté más aislado y sea más idílico, así que tampoco es algo muy negativo.

Robin (9/5): Beautiful and remote private lodge totally on your own - The view was breathtaking. We took the larger lodge which was extremely spacious and well appointed. There are no amenities or services during our stay.

Peter (8/5): Good to very good overall. - Comfortable, nicely furnished, clean, pretty landscape and water views, felt very private. Clear driving and access instructions, important for this remote location. Couldn’t get living room heater/outlet to work. Disappointing lighting. Poor reading and softer ambient lighting. Ceiling and other overhead lighting through glare. This could be remedied with dimmer switches.

Eden (10/5): Sensational - Apologies for my late review, but Property was absolutely beautiful! So quiet , we went in winter and there was warmth & coyness from the heater. I can’t think of anything! Yes you’re out the way but that’s what you come that way for! We are relatively new drivers but we had no issues. Yes it’s a bit dark but take your time and your lights!
Eric (4/5): Disappointing - The room we had was very comfortable WHEN THERE WAS POWER:( Olivia, the caretaker, did her best to try and make our stay as comfortable as possible. NO POWER FOR NEARLY 24HRS! Probably longer as we checked out before there was any sign of the place getting back online. According to one of the neighbours this is not unusual. The back up power, solar battery, does not work. This left us without running water, working toilet, kitchen and proper heating. It also meant NO WIFI. If power outages are a common occurrence & you have installed a backup power supply to combat this, YOU SHOULD MAKE SURE IT IS IN WORKING ORDER!!!
Karen (5/5): Disappointed - The view The remoteness of the retreat. Our space was very small with no cooking facilities so very disappointed with the money spent to stay there. The picture shown is not what you get. They need to show the other 2 rooms and what it doesn't have.

AHSmith (6/5): Was an idyllic setting, if a little inconvenient in certain aspects. - The location and views were absolutely stunning. Even though we endeavoured to 'self-cater' there was no convenient place to wash dishes other than the bathroom but no dish washing liquid was available until our 2nd day when I had to ask a staff member who was prepping the room next door if we could get some! Also the fact there was only one chair in the room, meant one of us had to sit on the bed while relaxing. Unfortunately the weather wasn't conducive for exploring, so were restricted to the room for long periods.

Sian (10/5): Lovely cabin with fantastic views and within easy drive of town and wildlife. - We stayed in the cabin for four nights. Comfortable, quiet, clean, fabulous view, about half hour drive from both City and Albatross centre. Seals, penguins, Sealions and albatross all within easy reach.

Elese (8/5): Comfy, cosy cottage! - We stayed for three nights in the cottage. Its very comfy and cosy - was a bit hot inside, as lots of the windows don't open. The onsite staff immediately purchased a fan for us to help with the heat, which helped a lot. With no TV, it was a very relaxing stay. Had everything we needed. Olivia was very friendly, obliging and helpful (thank you Olivia). Was wonderful to watch the weather change from the front deck. Would stay again!

Maxime (8/5): Very good - The view, the calm, the cleanliness, it was almost perfect. A little fridge in the room would have been better, there was only a little cellar (quite noisy for a little thing). And at this price the matress was a shame. The matress was awefull.
Shelley (7/5): Good - The location/view was awesome. A proper mini fridge would be good for stays of more than one night. The wine fridge didn'tdo the job for storing food. Also, while I understand the studio was cleaned after the last guests, it was obviously a while ago because we had to clean up about 100 dead flies from the floor, not pleasant way to begin and we couldn't get a hold of the manager for assistance.
