• José (7/5): - Excelente localização. Simpatia do proprietário. Ausência de disponibilidade para o fornecimento de Pequeno Almoço. Para além de não ser possível o PA no alojamento, nas redondezas, a um Domingo de manhã, estava tudo fechado. O local mais próximo que estava disponível, era já no Peso da Régua. Um "pormenor" a melhorar.
• Eric (8/5): - Wonderful view on the Douro. Very very quiet, calm and peaceful. Nearly threatening when from a city. Lovely small swimming pool. Chairs next to it. Nearly no car passing by. If you come with yours, there is place for 3 or 4. Beware that roads around the Douro are very narrow, so small is better than large, and keep your nerves! Closed to Pinhao. So place is great for a small week.

• Mineke (5/5): Great view, but not a good b&b and host - The view is amazing and the pool is nice. The host wasn’t very responsive, we had to call a few times and the taxi still wasn’t delivered, while they promised to make it happen. Also the check in was messy, while the host wasn’t there. Also we messages before our stay and it was confirmed we could reserve breakfast when we arrived, but the host let us know the next morning there wasn’t a breakfast available. The bed was very old and uncomfortable and the sheets too small.

Eine kleine Kochmöglichkeit wäre schön gewesen

• Tom (5/5): No breakfast. Bed was very small and the mattress was not good quality, so we did not sleep well. - The view from the property was lovely. There was no breakfast provided despite saying there would be when we booked - the advert specified Bed and Breakfast. Parking was unacceptably tight and on loose gravel, which caused problems for one guest who got his car stuck.

• Lúcia (7/5): - Vista para o Rio Douro. Apesar das condições dos apartamentos serem boas, fiz a reserva a contar com o pequeno-almoço na varanda, com vista para o rio. Reservei dois quartos, fui com os meus cunhados. Recebi, já de noite, uma mensagem com um voucher a dizer que a funcionária estava de baixa e que o pequeno-almoço seria na pastelaria da localidade. A pastelaria estava fechada. Informei-o e como resposta o sr. Tomás disse que devolveria o dinheiro do pequeno-almoço e que ainda nos enviaria um voucher para uma viagem de barco. Esperei para escrever a crítica (ficamos lá em junho) e até hoje (setembro) não recebi nada do que referiu.

• Silje (7/5): Good location with wonderful view - Nice view, good location, easy check in, reasonable prices. The bed was hard and the neighbors noisy.
• Maaike (10/5): Amazing stay. - This B & B is an absolute Gem. Best to arrive by car because it could be quite a climb from main road by the river. This B & B has a stunning view on the Douro River. Our room had its own balcony ( I think all the rooms have) and the view was just amazing. There is also a little pool, which was great and even from the pool a stunning view. So peaceful and tranquil. The room is good/basic and has a kettle for tea. There is a fridge in the big hallway for everybody to use. The owners are very kind and helpful. What a great place for peace and quiet and a beautiful view. Oh, and the two little cats (brother and sister) were a bonus for us :). I missed a bit of cutlery, that's all :)

In de ochtend hebben we zelf maar gebeld in te vragen waar het ontbijt bleef, kregen we een voucher om zelf ontbijt te halen bij plaatselijke bakker. Uiteindelijk goed gegeten bij de bakker, maar was wel gek...
• Emma (9/5): Une chambre avec un superbe vue sur le Douro - La vue est incroyable sur le Douro depuis les balcons. La piscine est un réelle plus, surtout avec cette si belle vue. La chambre était bien avec une climatisation et l’arrivée autonome était facile. Il y a bien une place de parking gratuit mais il faut être bon en manœuvre car comme le logement se trouve dans les hauteurs, les rues sont étroites et en pente. Ce ne sont que des petits détails : - la salle de bain avait une odeur de canalisation, nous avons donc dû la fermer pendant la nuit. L’odeur n’était pas perceptible la porte fermée. - la climatisation faisait un bruit aigu lorsqu’elle était éteinte - nous aurions apprécié un petit peu de vaisselle de base dans le logement pour faire le petit-déjeuner et éventuellement un apéro-dînatoire face à la vue

• Łukasz (10/5): - We returned after 7 years... A wonderful place, comfortable and peaceful. The view of the river is unbeatable. And now there is a swimming pool, which wasn't there before. It was great to cool off at the end of the day. We recommend it and will most likely come back again...

• Miguel Ángel (7/5): Buen alojamiento con vistas al Duero - La ubicación privilegiada con vistas al Duero. La piscina genial para bajar los calores, la cama muy cómoda y el cuarto de baño genial. La terraza es un puntazo para relajarse. La calidad precio es genial. Llegué al alojamiento y pulsé varias veces el timbre pero nadie respondió ni acudió. Asique tuve que buscar el numero de telefono del alojamiento y contactar con ellos. Una vez hablado, me comentaron que mi habitacion era la numero tal y entré y me puse comodo yo mismo. Hubiera estado bien que me hubieran mandado un mensaje o un correo con tal informacion. Pero vamos, no es una cosa importante como para preocuparse.

• Giulia (9/5): - La limpieza, el personal de limpieza super amable, la vista, el entorno, la tranquilidad. Repitirìamos. Nos acostumbramos, peeeero...la luz exterior parpadeaba y se apagaba, el frigo de la habitación no funcionaba. La alcachofa de la ducha demasiado básica, las almohadas super finas, más que básicas. Con más detalle el sitio sería inmejorable!

Há pontos que na minha opinião podem melhorar: Entrada com gravilha dificulta a entrada com bagagem ou pessoas com mobilidade reduzida ou deficiente; Falta de chuveiro na área de lazer junto a piscina; Iluminação da casa de banho fraca;
• JPOLIN (4/5): Schitterende omgeving, maar het ontbijt en de communicatie lieten te wensen over - Een fantastische plek om te verblijven! De locatie is perfect, midden tussen de sfeervolle quinta’s, waardoor je volledig kunt opgaan in de charme van de Dourovallei. Het uitzicht is prachtig en ideaal om even helemaal tot rust te komen. Op warme dagen boven de 35 graden is het zwembad een heerlijke verademing. We boekten twee nachten inclusief ontbijt, maar dat bleek een grote teleurstelling. Door een operatie kon de eigenaar het ontbijt niet zelf verzorgen en werd dit uitbesteed aan de lokale bakker. Op zich volledig begrijpelijk. Het probleem: bij de bakker kregen we per persoon slechts één koffie, één frisdrank en één enkel bakkerij-item (pastel de nata óf croissant). Voor een verblijf dat als inclusief ontbijt geboekt én betaald werd, is dat simpelweg geen ontbijt. Toen ik de eigenaar hierover aansprak, kwam er hierop geen reactie, wat erg teleurstellend is. Goede communicatie is essentieel, en daar ontbreekt het hier aan. Ook de check-in verliep rommelig. Vooraf kregen we bericht dat we onszelf konden inchecken, maar ter plaatse was er nul informatie: geen kamer, geen sleutel, niets. De bel bij de deur gaf geen reactie en uiteindelijk vonden we de eigenaar zelf rond het huis. Op zich geen ramp – self check-in kan prima werken – maar zorg dan wel voor duidelijke instructies vooraf. Kortom: een mooie locatie, maar de gebrekkige communicatie en het zeer magere ontbijt zorgen voor een lage beoordeling.

Nous sommes arrivés sans aucune consigne et personne pour nous accueillir. impossible de trouver l'accès, des travaux condamnaient le passage. Après avoir parlé au téléphonne avec le propriétaire, un ouvrier à arrêté son travail pour venir nous chercher sur le bord de la route. Nous avons dû passer par un escalier dangereux, de surcroit avec des valises. Pas de parking comme promis sur l'annonce et pour courronner le tout, une heure après notre arrivée, panne de courant certainement en raison des travaux.

Aucune info avant le 1er jour sur le petit déjeuner que nous ne pouvions pas prendre sur site (pourtant compris dans la réservation) on nous a communiqué d'aller dans une boulangerie du village (assez loin des commentaires positifs de certains clients..) De plus et plus gênant la boulangerie est fermée le Dimanche donc nous avons chercher un autre endroit à 15km... petit déjeuner à nos frais !! Aucune info de la part du propriétaire sur le séjour un sms, si on ne peut pas assurer des prestations payantes.. on anticipe et on trouve des solutions!! Dommage!

• Peter (8/5): Perfect om vanaf je balkon over de Douro te staren… - Het balkon met het uitzicht is heerlijk rustgevend. Onduidelijkheid over het ontbijt, matige communicatie hierover en het bed is nogal klein en het 1 matras. Daardoor niet super goed geslapen.

• patrick (5/5): Le propriétaire n'aurait pas dû louer son bien et nous avertir de l - La vue sur le Douro Le parking était partiellement effondré ainsi que le chemin d'accès à la chambre. La terrasse de la chambre présentait 3 fissures importantes et un affaissement de plusieurs centimètres (photos disponibles) => risque d'effondrement . Pas de wifi malgré la communication de codes par le propriétaire. Pas d'eau chaude le matin pour se doucher. Pas de vontact avec le propriétaire le matin du départ.

• Merle (8/5): Mõnus koht peatuda üheks ööks. Kõik peamine on olemas. - Vaade oli suurepärane, jalgsi on kõvasti ronimist. Autoga ligipääs hea. Õhtul terrassil istudes võib kuulda öökulli huikeid ja nahkhiired lendavad. Lähedalasuvas kohvikus saab hommikul hea kohvi ja värske piruka.

• Zifan (6/5): Un accueil de l'hôte pourrait changer notre idée sur ce séjour. - La vue imprenable sur la vallée de Douro, dans un village très calme. Manque de l'accueil, l'hôte n'était pas présente et elle nous laisse entrer directement. le petit déjeuner était inclut dans la réservation mais vu que l'hôte n'était pas venu donc aucun petit déjeuner n'a été proposé dans la matinée. La maison se trouve dans un village isolé où il n'y a pas de restaurant ni de commerce. L'absence de l'hote qui n'a donné aucun conseille nous laisse sentir complètement abandonné.

• 00 (8/5): On top of a Mountain - Uitzicht op rivier de Duro Fantastische vergezichten Mooi balkon en lekkere grote fauteuils om in te zitten. Parkeren was (gratis) op het terrein en vlak bij de kamer. De eigenaar nooit gezien een familielid die toevallig bij oma op visite kwam heeft ons binnen gelaten. We hebben nooit weer iemand gezien of contact mee gehad.

La persona que nos iba a preparar el desayuno tuvo un problema familiar grave y no pudimos desayunar allí, lástima, pero se disculpa por lo ocurrido, por supuesto, y en su lugar nos ofrecieron un desayuno en un bar del pueblo bastante aceptable.

Pas d'indication précise, on nous a seulement communiqué le numéro de la chambre à la suite d'un sms que nous avons envoyé à l'hôte. Point à améliorer.
