- Jacqueline (7/5): You get what you pay for - Easy to access from highway, also quick into town. Spacious living and bedrooms. Doors and windows really hard to open en close, like the sliding door from living room, bedroom window, bathroom window. Bin in the bathroom is sorely missing! Think about hygiene products and having to leave the bathroom and look for a bin somewhere else in the apartment. Embarrassing, and you’ll just invite people to toss it in the toilet… Mattress very hard.

The bench in the bathroom hadn't had the amenities restocked. Seems the room was cleaned in a rush and they had forgotten the bathroom all together. I arrived after hours so uncomfortable couldn't speak directly to anyone

Neat yard and surroundings. a pair of panties were left on the floor from the guests previously in the room. It makes us gag when we think about it. An obvious housekeeping oversight. It obviosuly overshadows everything good about the stay.

- Loren Yee Hang (4/5): moderate - The location is very convenient, and we loved that parking was available. The fridge and microwave were clean as well. The fan provided in the room was quite dusty, so we were reluctant to use it. Fortunately, the room was airy enough in this season. We also felt sorry for having to call the after‑hours service and interrupt the staff’s rest just to request a new fan. Sadly, we were never around during office hours, so we couldn’t sort it out earlier. The photos shown online didn’t quite match the room we received either. In the listing, the room for two people appears slightly newer and shows an air‑conditioner installed.

There were also no power outlets in either of the bedrooms in Room #8, which made it difficult for us to charge our devices and phones. You can walk to the beach. Overall it felt tired and needs updating. Air con only in living area and not in bedroom so it was a bit hot.

Despite some issues, the room itself was comfortable and provided everything we needed for an overnight stay. I didn’t meet any staff during my stay, which made the experience feel a bit unsupported. A break‑in occurred overnight, and a car's window was smashed, which was unsettling. The room had a dirty smell on arrival, and the furniture was quite old. The kitchen also felt dated and didn’t really encourage cooking.

- Marianne (8/5): Small and neat in a good location. Good for our weeklong stay 😊 - The location suited us very well. Only a couple of minutes' drive to the town centre and port/mariner, or you could walk one street back to the local beach. The apartment was very neat and tidy. The beds were comfy and there was a smart TV in the living area (just a little dated/basic in the bathroom and kitchen, but we didn't mind that). There is a nice outdoor BBQ area to sit and enjoy in the afternoon, with a big shade sail to keep the sun off. Security cameras and outdoor night lights made it feel secure. It also had security screens on the bedroom windows, so if you like to sleep with the window open you can. The car bays are not very well marked up, so was a little confusing. Towel/coat hooks on the backs of the bedrooms and bathroom doors would have been helpful (cupboard space was good in both bedrooms but there was only a double towel rail in the bathroom. This is okay if only 2 guests, but we had 3 so I had to hang my towel over the door handle). Not a big issue, but these would be a great addition 😉
