Guest Reviews
- Sharma (10/5): Had an amazing stay at this place. Can’t get enough of it. We will definitely comeback. Loved it! - Property and the location Nothing
- Natalia Mikhaylova (10/5): Wonderful stay - We had a wonderful stay in this house. The host was very kind and responsive, always helping us with any questions we had. The house itself is spacious, bright, warm, and very clean.
During our trip, we really missed home-cooked meals, and the kitchen had absolutely everything needed to easily prepare any dish. The bedrooms had very comfortable beds, and we slept perfectly.
We especially enjoyed the billiards table, table tennis, and various board games — they made our evenings very enjoyable. There is also an outdoor jacuzzi with lovely warm water.
Nearby, there is a pond where you can go fishing — you can rent fishing rods there, so it’s an ideal place for fishing enthusiasts.
Overall, we loved everything and would be happy to come back again. Highly recommended! Everything was perfect
- Hayley (10/5): Fantastic weekend away - The house is absolutely stunning. Friendly hosts and all the facilities you could possibly need. Honestly nothing I would add other than maybe a parasol for the wetter nights at the hot tub. Be good to have that over the hot tub.
- Hazel (1/5): Awful, so very very disappointing. - Kitchen dreadful. Chips left in air fryer, pan full of oil in the oven, knife covered in goodness knows what in dirty wine fridge, bananas in a cupboard. Out of date PAT test on the microwave and no PAT tests on other electrical items. Washing left in the washing machine. Ladies dress and underwear in one of the bathrooms.
Worst to come though. Straight dress maker pins found on bedroom floors! Then a bottle top and a tablet found at base of one of the beds! We had 2 very young children with us, can you imagine if they had walked on the pins or even worse picked up the tablet and swallowed it. Doesn’t bare thinking about. The owner may say he was arranging for cleaners to come in to sort it, but the children were fast asleep for the night. But it should have been ready anyway.
We haven’t had any communication from the owner since that first night. Even though he said he would look after us with booking.com and he himself said it was not acceptable. We left the next morning, we couldn’t take the chance on staying and finding more things. We have had no refund, which I feel we should have. Owner hasn’t communicated with booking.com even though they say they have sent him emails. Very disappointed all round.
- Lesley (8/5): Important family time allowed us all to spend time together and not feel on top of each other. - The space - worked well for a family getaway.
- Melissa (10/5): Exceptional - The beautifulness of the property and the surrounding area. Nothing.
- Rachael (10/5): Will be recommending to friends and family, and definitely be back! - Coylebrae House is such a fantastic venue for a big group/family to stay. Very quiet and serene, lots of space and perfect for fun! Luqi was super helpful and nothing was a problem, even though we were a last minute booking. So thankful for him saving our weekend. Will be recommending to friends and family, and definitely be back!
- Florence (9/5): Very exceptional and beautiful, I had a nice birthday celebration with my family the way I want it - The environment was quiet, very accommodating and enough facilities to go round .
the host was right on time to attend to my needs with good communication.
The host checked on our wellbeing while at the property for safety
Good playing ground for kids and game room for additional things to do The Jacuzzi could be better with something like a Gazebbo or a mini house/shed cover as it's quite windy on Sunday 23rd which makes the cover to be unstable and not able to use the facility
- Glen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jorge (10/5): This house is truly exceptional and deserves the highest praise. The attention to detail is evident - It's truly wonderful to encounter such accommodating hospitality. Their helpful nature made the stay even more pleasant. Such a quick response to any need is greatly appreciated. This level of service deserves recognition and praise. It fosters a welcoming and positive environment for everyone.
- Ashleigh (10/5): Perfect house, fantastic host would definitely recommend!!! - Coylebrae house was perfect for our girlie weekend away. The house was beautifully finished, very spacious, immaculate and the terrace area outside of the house and hot tub were a fantastic bonus! I have no negative comments to say about our stay at the house everything was fab
- Christina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shauket (10/5): Excellent - Excellent location
- Peter (10/5): Probably the best stay we’ve ever had in Scotland - We loved every part of this fabulous home. We came up to celebrate my wife’s 60th and to visit the Open. The property is spacious ( we had loads of room for the whole family. All the appliances were quality and the beds were fabulously comfortable. It’s a great place to access Ayr and the surrounding area and beaches. The fishing lake at the bottom of the large ( and safe ) garden was a real bonus too. Even though there were 7 of us we had loads of space, large kitchen diner, games room television room and conservatory. We will definitely come back, it’s just fantastic! Nothing
- James (10/5): Made a good bank holiday a great one. - Gorgeous property with plenty of space, comfy beds good showers and an amazing kitchen with everything you need for a proper cook up. Also had a pool table and ping pong table that gave for some funny times of a night. Luqi the owner was always available for anything we needed and replied promptly. Only thing was the hot tub was out of service, however Luqi did offer to buy all 10 of our group a breakfast on him for the shortfall.
- Danielle (10/5): Absolutely Amazing !!!!! - My friends and I are just back from an amazing stay at Coylebrae house and to say we where blown away would be and understatement. This house is absolutely stunning and perfect for anyone looking for a fantastic breakaway. The house has everything you could possibly need. The games room was fantastic we had hours of fun playing ping pong, dominos and pool. The bedrooms are all very stylish and the beds where super comfy. The separate lounge area was perfect for kids hanging out playing there PlayStation. Such a beautiful house the pictures don’t even do it justice it’s even nicer in person !
Location is also fantastic so close to Ayr beach beautiful walks and countryside. There is a lovely cafe a 2 minute walk from front door, the cafe is honestly 10/10 so much choice and everything was delicious, we had lunch and breakfast here very reasonable priced too. We will one hundred per cent be back to stay here. Big thank you to the owner who was so friendly and amazing to deal with.
