The only thing that was real was the - The views The property is unkept and shabby The house is old and not maintained and not in good condition Here is a list of SOME of the many issues The pictures on the site are misleading and not current. This is not how the interior of the house looks. The experience of this house was extremely disappointing We paid 5 star hotel rates for a very sub par experience WiFi doesn’t work on tv in the main bedroom lounge None of the gas heaters in the main bedroom work - it was cold Downstairs bedroom has no heater or air conditioning - frigid cold rooms with painted bricks Toilet seat in the master bathroom is broken Tap in the downstairs bathroom is loose and coming off Walls wet and chipped paint with water damage Maintenance not uptodate at all - rooms are not warm or inviting. Old carpets. Windows looking out not cleaned. Bird poop over sea views. House musty and not aired. Smell of disuse and neglect. Cleanliness not up to standard in the kitchen and bedrooms. Bedding inadequate downstairs bedroom - cold with not enough thick blankets. Poor quality pillows. Bedrooms separated by a significant distance by a whole level so not suitable for small family All the diffusers were empty, candles burnt out not replaced with new ones The finish fluid in the kitchen empty, old sponges The basic items like soap, cleaning supplies etc finished and not replenished. The art work/paintings in the house are overwhelming and disturbing. Not serene. Heated towel rail not working upstairs. The pool pump makes a loud sucking sound every few minutes even during the night - disturbing sleep. The kitchen sink tap is broken The fridge was not working The front gate to the property locks you in so you have to use the sliding door on the side to get out Upstairs blind not working properly Only one set of towels per room despite booking for 3 nights/4days

We were especially delighted to find a selection of locally produced wines available, showcasing the rich flavours of the surrounding region—a truly personal and memorable touch. Whether you're enjoying a glass of wine on the patio at sunset, cooking in the beautifully appointed kitchen, or simply relaxing in one of the elegantly designed living spaces, Simply Stunning lives up to its name in every way. We are already looking forward to our next visit. This gem in Yzerfontein has certainly captured our hearts and will remain our go-to getaway destination for years to come
