• suki (5/5): Overpriced, Modern property, building work starting at 7am, excellent location, aggressive, awful owner ! - Excellent location Great facilities, modern decor 1 week before arriving, the host was aggressively threatening us with a 95 euro fine if we did not arrive between 15.00 - 18.00 hrs, what a wonderful way to welcome your guests ! Very overpriced for the area. We were a big group and we rented 4 properties in Xalo, all of a very good condition. This one was 50 % more expensive than the others, which were in central and had good facilities, 1 even had a pool and it was still 30% cheaper than this property ! To top it all off, the property next door started very loud building work at 7am !!
• Jane (2/5): Very Poor Experience !!! - Located in central Jalon I rented this property from the 6th of April to the 15th of April 2026. Yanni met me on my arrival. There was a €300 deposit required. I had to provide a receipt for proof of this cash as Yanni did not come ready with one. The morning of 7th of April I was woken up early to hammering and drilling from the adjoining townhouse. I was very tired from having been travelling long hours the previous day. As I wasn't going to get any rest I decided to go downstairs and make a cup of tea. I got out of bed and went to open the bedroom door. When I tried to open the bedroom door the door handle fell off! I tried to put it against the door to see if it would open. It did not. I was trapped in my bedroom and needed to take my medication. I tried phoning Yanni the agent for the property for help. He did not answer. I left voice notes. He did not answer. By this time I was very frightened and ended up phoning the police who were very kind. They asked me my age. I said I was a 70 year old lady who is alone in a house and trapped in my bedroom as the handle had come off. I also needed to take my medication. They came round immediately. I spoke to the policemen from my bedroom window. They tried to phone Yanni but he didn't answer their phone calls. I could see they were not happy that Yanni was not answering. The police then asked the builders next door to get ladders to go over the roof. Once they got over the roof they let themselves into a rear patio door to my property and then came upstairs to open my bedroom door! I phoned Booking.com and told them what was happening and the lady said if at any time I didn't feel safe to phone the police. When Yanni did eventually return my calls he said he was working on another property in Calpe. He also wanted me to sent photos of damage of the door! At no point did he say "Sorry!" for my very frightening experience. During my stay I spent the most of my time with my son who lives in Jalon.

• Rui (10/5): - The house is perfect with all functionalyties that we need on holidays. Jalon is really the ideal place to stay in Costa Blanca because its in the meadlle way between the sand beaches of Denia and the amazing beaches on Altea.
• Sonja (8/5): - Sehr sehr netter Gastgeber, unkomplizierter Check in/out, Top Lage Für den Preis hätte z. B. eine Geschirrspülmaschine in der Küche vorhanden sein sollen, aber das ist natürlich nur ein kleines Manko.
• Jennifer (8/5): Great place in a quiet but lovely town - Really nice place, very clean and had everything we needed to cook etc. Easy check in and out with nice host. Free parking close by, as well as bakery and shops and nice trails for walking. The outdoor space was limited so it felt quite dark
• Stephen (10/5): Exceptional property in a fantastic central location - Beautiful property with all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable! The staircase could be a little tricky for children or older people.
