• Luis Mauricio (10/5): Excelente Villa Guadalupe - Me gustó Todo , la ubicación , instalaciones , alberca sabrosa , una terraza súper agradable , mucha limpieza , pero lo mejor de todo el personal , un comentario aparte a su propietario Gerardo te hace sentir como en casa y así fué , mi esposa y yo volveremos , Gracias y hasta pronto. . . . . .

• Lise (10/5): WONDERFUL STAY - The breakfast was very good and plentiful. We had coffee at different cafes in the area but the coffee at Villa Guadalupe was by far the best. The owners were wonderful and very helpful. They made sure our stay was comfortable. The staff at Villa Guadalupe were all friendly and accommodating. I 100% recommend a stay here.

• Elisa (10/5): - El servicio excelente, llegamos y nos atendió una persona bastante amable y que estuvo bastante pendiente desde el día antes de nuestra llegada, la comida fue muy buena y la ubicación fue perfecta. No tengo quejas
• Víctor Daniel (9/5): Vayan! - La atención del personal fue increíble, desde que sabían que nos hospedaríamos se comunicaron conmigo, a nuestra llegada la atención de Gerardo fue lindísima y de todo su personal bien amable en todo momento. Los alimentos en el desayuno y de la cafetería muy rico todo y la calidad de los alimentos es insuperable. Lo único que no me encantó es que la habitación donde me hospedé estaba justo frente a la alberca y otro huespedes tenían música con un volumen muy alto.

• Kmcg (9/5): perfectly fitted my needs, so I would defiantly recommend to others and or go back myself - I felt everything was taken care of, nothing too much trouble for the staff and it had a family run feel as this is what it is. I was travelling alone and felt completely safe and taken car of Location also fantastic. I can honestly say there was nothing I did not like. I had no complaints during my 4 day stay.

• David (8/5): Buen hotel, ubicación buena , personal amable, excelente desayuno, pero .... - el personal amable, el desayuno delicioso, la ubicación al malecón. La habitación era chiquitita, sin escritorio ni silla cómoda. Por el precio, deberían tener habitaciones con mas espacio. Era un poco ruidoso, con el restaurante y la alberca tan cerca de mi habitación.

• Sue (10/5): Little to add to the already glowing reports - We needed to package a wrought iron light fixture, and the owner was very helpful with needed materials: cardboard, rope, tape, etc.
• Wade (3/5): Great location and room but no communication. - Great room,updated and clean. Construction,putting in a coffee shop. Workers all over the place, loud equipment and music. The hotel should have been closed to have the work done. They worked from 8 am to 8 pm. Never informed about any work.
• Dennis (8/5): Really good. - The room was very comfortable. Other hotel facilities were being renovated so we did not have an opportunity to use or enjoy them. I wish that we could enjoy the other hotel amenities that were out of use due to construction.
• Curt (8/5): Great little hotel in a central location - Location is excellent, host is very friendly and welcoming, good English and lots of suggestions of local things to see and do. Great value, we would stay here again! The only reason for a lower score is the construction made the place a bit less beautiful and clean... But we were told it would be finished within a week or two.

• Lorie (8/5): It’s a convenient place to be and if you love coffee, they’ll have a coffee shop. It was an access to some entertainment - Close to the Melacon and action, outside kitchen, you could use with the microwave and blender. A pool was a little cool but they planned it supposedly put a heater in it. They have three dogs that have barking fits, it’s not a place where you can sleep in as the cleaning ladies are there by seven in the morning and they have plans to put a coffee shop in the area so who knows what time that’ll open up and somebody will be busycooking

• Paul (8/5): A comfortable welcoming stay near the Chapala malecon. - Villa Guadalupe was ideal for the brief stay we had. It is growing and developing nicely but still in the growing phase. I think the future is bright for this hotel. One observation is that the mirror is placed for tall people so my short wife could barely use it.

• David (8/5): Lake front stay - For travellers by motorcycle you will enjoy the convenience of this hotel. It is directly across from the lake and a block from the main road through the town center, Park your bike, put away the gear and enjoy a short stroll to the local restaurants and along the Malecón. For our stay the hotel met our needs.

• Rita (9/5): Superb - Wonderful location, safe, with friendly staff... even though we spoke two different languages! The pool area is nice. Occasional odor in the bathroom...the window is so high I couldn't open and close...there was no vent. I always travel with essential oils so I freshen the air...

It would have been nice to have a hair dryer and a few cups in the room . Also for the price a continental type breakfast would have been nice as well.

• Anonymous (10/5): Fantastic two days in Chapala - The property is very well maintained, it has court yard, swimming pool, barbecue area. The room is spacious. It’s close to the Malecón with lots of restaurants nearby.
