• Anonymous (1/5): If you want to have privacy and have a nice holilday, do not come here. - Unfortunately, our stay turned out to be very stressful due to the way the hosts handled a simple booking mistake. We had accidentally registered one child as an infant instead of correctly listing 4 adults and a child (8 years old). Before everyone arrived, we informed the hosts about the extra adult and were open to paying a reasonable extra fee. Instead of working with us to find a human and practical solution, the hosts – both of whom are lawyers – approached the situation in a strictly legalistic and aggressive way, which felt completely out of place. What could have been a simple, understanding conversation turned into a confrontation. They demanded €600, refused any compromise, and stopped responding to our messages. Later, we were threatened with eviction, called scammers, and even accused of bringing in “unauthorized immigrants” – which was extremely disrespectful and shocking. On the second day, they came to the apartment and tried to intimidate us into leaving, filming us without consent while saying things like “if you want war, war it is.” There were also attempts to cut the electricity and Wi-Fi that day, which made us feel unsafe. In addition, basic hygiene services that were promised – such as cleaning, towel replacement, and refreshing of the room during a 10-day stay – were completely missing. From that moment on, we had no hot water and no breakfast, even though they were included in the price. Only the first day was normal. We have reported the incident to Booking.com and hope they will treat the matter fairly. We rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience went far beyond a simple misunderstanding. Future guests deserve to know what happened.
