Guest Reviews
- Joanna Ruth (7/5): - Well situated.
Clean
Quiet Wifi took a long time to connect and kept dropping out
Drains smelled which pervaded the property
- Adrian (7/5): Manse apartment - The facilities in general were good.
Good advance notice of key arrangements. Traffic noise from the road in the front bedroom despite being advised it would be minimal.
Not easy to find from the outside when getting dark.
A full flight of outside stairs to climb up with heavy bags.
Parking is not outside the apartment.
The wifi password instructions on the wall were wrong

- Natasha (9/5): We had a great stay - spacious and comfortable apartment with stunning views! Host was very helpful. - Stunning views, spacious, comfortable Only slight frustration was the lack of parking outside the property, as with young children this would have made things easier. But I know this can’t be helped!
- Prithiviraj Kumar (1/5): - Nothing to share Access information was split across email and an in-app message with no indication to check both. We arrived with family after 21:30pm using the PIN from the confirmation email, the only information we had. It didn't work. We spent over an hour calling and messaging the owner with no response and had no choice but to leave and pay for alternative accommodation elsewhere. When we asked the Booking.com for a refund, the owner replied at 11:45pm to deny a refund. First and last time using this property."
- mick (10/5): excelleny place to stay.. - what a lovely place to stay only minutes from the town centre. the house was modern and nice and warm to stay.
we will defo keep these details and stay there again.
- John (8/5): Good value for money. Plenty of bathrooms and toilets and lovely views. - Very Clean and everything you need.
Plenty of bathrooms and toilets. We were not able to use the dishwasher but that wasn’t a problem as we were only there 1 night. I thought the steps up to the property could do with cleaning. A bit slippy.
- SARA (10/5): Very much enjoyed our stay, lovely apartment. - Clean, stylish, warm
- Steve (7/5): - The whole apartment was to a good standard of comfort, facilities and cleanliness. Out side area could do with a tidy up and some sun shade.
- Barry (7/5): -
- Beryl (7/5): -
- Pip (8/5): - Great location for The Malverns and Worcester.
Easy to park.
Good views.
Comfy bed. A few cobwebs, cold when we first went in, but sorted the heating.
- Alisa (10/5): - beautiful apartment
- Anita (9/5): Lovely short stay over Christmas - Lovely apartment, spacious with comfortable beds and modern, well equipped kitchen and bathrooms.
On door step to Malvern Hills and beautiful walks. About a 30 minute walk to town or short drive (we walked). Great Malvern a lovely pretty town with a nice theatre which we visited. Very enjoyable short trip over Xmas. Thankyou A bit noisy from traffic
Parking on main road
Couldn’t get TV to work?

- Talia (10/5): Lovely stay catching up with friends from all over as a mid point. Clean and cozy apartment, would stay again - Well kept, great views, comfortable and cozy Could do with a few bits in the kitchen
Tongues, foil/ cling film but not a make or break
Parking not the best with smaller children
- tomasz (10/5): -
- Aysha (10/5): Lovely stay… thank you - Perfect, just like the pictures, nice garden… spacious
- Robert (10/5): A lovely flat in a beautiful location with a perfect host. - Beautiful location, wonderful flat-just perfect for our short stay. The kitchen was well-equipped and everything was sparkling clean.
Wes was the perfect host, accommodating some changes we made with our booking with no fuss and always replied promptly. Only a minor thing-the blinds in the 1st bedroom were a little short but that didn't affect our stay!
- Mandy (7/5): -
- Paul (10/5): Great little spot - Clean, well equipped, great for family gathering. Great communication from host
- ian (8/5): -
- Shirley (7/5): - Lovely spacious apartment. Outside space really needs attention...very run down and puts you off being there. Leaky gutters meant when it rained the noise was really bad.
Postcode doesn't take you to apartment. Had difficulty finding it. Need to pit in postcode for Wythe Free Curch. Parking can be difficult...too many people wanting too few spaces.
- Jacob (9/5): Comfortable stay in the heart of the Malvern Hills - Great location with easy access to the Malvern Hills and surrounding areas. Clean and tidy, all the essentials. Well decorated and comfortable furnishings, very nice apartment overall. It was a little hard to find initially.
- Sandra (9/5): Superb - Cleanliness
Room decor
Kitchen

Was there an iron?
- Jackie (9/5): Great apartment with excellent location for walking on the hills - Everything was great location facilities contact with host Strange ensuite with no door!
- Hollie (8/5): Very good -
- Jacek (10/5): Exceptional -
- Justine (5/5): Cosy but a bit disappointed - Nice apartment but disappointed few things. A bit pricey of what it as unfortunately Need attention to few aspects of this apartment, couldn’t have proper shower as the water heat was so inconsistent, in both shower bathrooms, plus head of the shower in main room is shocking, either needs a proper clean or change of heads.
- Catherine (10/5): Lovely one night stay - Nice roomy apartment, lovely views. Attractive apartment, nicely decorated. Very comfortable beds. Good for a group of friends or a family. Is well placed for walks in the local vicinity. Didn't affect us at all, but need to be aware it is an upstairs apartment and the parking location while close might be difficult for anyone who has mobility issues.
- Megan (10/5): Quiet, clean, spacious, comfy. - It’s the second time we’ve stayed here and equally happy. Clean, quiet, comfy beds, spacious. Wouldn’t be suitable for guests with mobility issues as the parking is on a steep hill a short walk from the apartment, and there are several stairs up to the front door. Perfect for our family, though.
- Rose (10/5): Excellent - Excellent accommodation really appreciate the host for being understanding and allowing a later check out would definitely use again.
- John (7/5): Good -
- Natasha (10/5): Would definitely return 👍 - Beautifully decorated and well equipped . The beds were very comfortable.
- Colin (8/5): Very good - Location particularly good with walks straight from the accommodation onto the hills. Parking opposite works well. All good.
- Jack (8/5): Very good -
- Alice (10/5): Was lovely, would definitely recommend staying here great hosts and value for money - As the pictures showed it lovely and clean with a homey feeling Parking a distance, but not a deal breaker just requires more logistical planning with loading and unloading. Could do with a hook in the bathrooms to place towels and a space to place toiletries like a toothbrush
- Nikki (4/5): Disappointing - Convenient location and easy to find One night stay booked and paid £200. No heating on when we arrived, it was 3deg outside so freezing temps and all furniture (bedding/towels were damp and cold) none of us wanted to shower or change for our evening out as it was just too cold. Reported to host to be told “sorry but hopefully it will warm up when we come home later that night” we had planned after a busy day to relax in the apartment for a few hours before heading out in evening but that was near impossible. All sat with coats and hats on and decided to go out as was totally uncomfortable.
When we got home that night thankfully it had warmed up but the beds still freezing to get into. Next morning we all took shower but temp in shower fluctuated between cold and hot. And felt totally disappointed by stay. No further contact with host. Today woke up with a head cold and just feel it was not meeting basic standards.
- Neil (7/5): Good -
- Cole (9/5): Great base for walking on the Malvern Hills - The Manse apartment is in a quiet location and the accommodation has plenty of space for 6 people. The decor is modern and clean. The bathrooms and kitchen appear newly fitted. There was plentiful hot water for showers and plenty of towels. The beds are very comfortable. Access is via a flight of stairs on the outside of the house. Keys are located in a keysafe box with a pass code.
Wi-Fi strength is good. Scan the QR code on the underside of the router (on the hall table) to obtain the pass code.
This is an excellent base for exploring the Malvern area, situated between Jubilee Hill and the Worcestershire Beacon. There are many walks which can be enjoyed without having to take your car out. It makes a good base for several days in the area. We stayed on a chilly night in January and the apartment heating was not turned on ready for our arrival. I don't think anyone had stayed there in recent days so this meant that the whole place was very cold when we arrived and it took many hours with the heating turned up high to get it to warm up to a comfortable level - in fact we had to have the heating on all night. I suggest messaging the owner in advance to ask for the heating to be set on well in advance of arrival.
We couldn't find a hairdryer despite it being on the list of amenities. A few more items in the kitchen are needed, such as a chopping board, oven gloves and a tea towel. There didn't appear to be any instructions for appliances - this would be helpful, especially for the heating.
The particulars for the apartment are a little misleading - it states there is on site parking - there isn't. Parking is down on Walwyn Road or in a side street by the Geo Centre. There was plenty of space in January, but in summer it may prove more difficult. Just a warning.
- Kevin (9/5): Superb - Clean, good facilites, well decorated
- Kimberley (9/5): Superb - Good value for money. Great apartment for a few days break which was clean and easy to access. Could not park outside the property but there is plenty of parking spaces on the road opposite the property.
- Olivia (8/5): It was okay - It was a really nice place nothing bad about the place I sadly had to mark it down a few as we couldn’t turn the heating on and we wouldn’t find any information about how to turn it on
- Gwyn (4/5): Our Christmas was spoiled by the host failing to provide adequate heating for a third of our stay!! - Spacious for 2 people
Beds were comfortable
Nice view from upper apartment The heating had not been put on early enough and remained inadequate 12 hours later.
The host’s response to this was not helpful and no solution was offered before the following day.
This represented a third of our Christmas break and when representations were made for compensation the host absolved himself of any responsibility.
The advertised distance to the free parking was 25 metres; whereas it was at least 100 metres.
The kitchen facilities which we were cooking Christmas dinner in, were very basic and there was no facility for making fresh coffee.
The ensuite to the main bedroom had no door, extractor or efficient shower drainage.
The living room is very small for larger groups.
There is no lighting from the entrance gate to the top of the steps.
- Gemma (10/5): Exceptional - Very spacious. Beds were very comfortable. We asked for a late check out and one of the guests lost an item of jewellery. The owner was happy to help with both and was quick to reply to messages
- Alison (9/5): Very pleased with property - Lovely location in the Malvern Hills, could walk up the Beacon from the door. Flat was comfortable and well equipped. Only thing was no equipment to make coffee
- Megan (9/5): Spacious, clean apartment. Up a flight of stairs. - Clean, spacious, quiet location. Helpful for visitors to know it’s up quite a few stairs (although it made no difference to us). Agree with previous reviewers that the en suite bathroom with no door was weird! A tri-fold door would make it much more useful. The heating was off when we arrived and it was chilly. Leaving the thermostat on low would have made it nicer when we arrived. All small things, though. Lovely apartment. Really enjoyed our stay!
- Noreen (10/5): Exceptional - Beautifully decorated apartment apartment in lovely location. Exceeded our expectations; perfect for a family walking trip. Very attentive and accommodating host. Would not hesitate to return. Nothing!
- Sally (9/5): We had a really lovely time. - Very neat and well furnished… Cosy and served my family really well. The distance to the car park.
- Natalie (10/5): We stayed for night before wedding for bridal party and was perfect for the morning of getting ready with plenty of spac - Beautiful decorated throughout and very clean apartment
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Diffey (8/5): Very good -
- Sasha (8/5): Great stay. Perfect for we needed it for, beautiful and spacious home with amazing facilities - Very well decorated, and great facilities . Felt like home The parking was slightly inconvenient as it wasn’t on site. No iron was provided.
There was no privacy door in the en suite so it was a bit inconvenient having an open bathroom into the room.
- Glenn (9/5): Roomy apartment for reasonable value. - Roomy apartment. Need a car to get anywhere of significance.
- Ali (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carl (10/5): Perfect place - Everything was in the perfect position for what we went for and couldn't have asked for a better place
- Gurung (9/5): Superb -
- Sam (10/5): Thank you for accommodating us so fully on short notice. Would be delighted to stay again. - Excellent communication. Extremely clean. Well situated. A cracking apartment for either a family or a pair of couples. Extremely accommodating hosts. Will remember for future. A few more utensils in the kitchen (which was well kitted out) would have been useful, but in no way a complaint.
- Naomi (8/5): Very good - Spacious, modern property that was very well equipped. The host was excellent in communicating about access to the property etc. Nothing - the property met our needs perfectly.
- Sarah (9/5): Superb -
- Claire (9/5): Beautiful property in a beautiful area. Definitely stay again & recommend - Lovely set up and good use of space. Beds were really comfy and decor was lovely. Great communication with the owner and quick and informative Could do with more seating in the lounge. We had 6 people in our party and we struggled to all sit comfortably.
Additional Information on facilities and surrounding area would add that extra finish to the place.
The en-suite didn’t have a door on it - even if had a curtain for some privacy that would be nice
- Olly (9/5): Great location, stunning views as you drive to the apartment via Malvern. Very modern apartment! - Stunning apartment, we were gutted we only stayed for one night - a place that actually has 4 beds, instead of 2 double beds seems rare, but this place had it!
Great location just away from the Malvern town centre. Communication and instructions from host were perfect. Key collection via the lockbox was simple. Very quiet road, easy to find parking spaces on the street. Nothing really, just that parking wasn't immediately outside the property, but plenty of street parking available
- Sue (8/5): Had a lovely weekend the apartment was big enough for six - Lovely and clean good facilities - 3 toilets - Beds were a bit snug - I could understand as 2 of the bedrooms were quite small - 2 singles may be a better option as I felt like I would fall out of bed as doubles were very small also bathroom would have been better with a walking shower as bath a bit slippery -
Also couldn’t access the WiFi
- David (10/5): Excellent, comfortable and homely stay - Very clean and comfortable, good communication from the owner with instructions for parking etc Nothing, surpassed our expectations
- Christopher (9/5): Superb - Lovely spot ,will be returning in the next few weeks
- Alex (10/5): Exceptional - Everything. Perfect for us. Especially great that we could stay for only one night. Really nice person directed us when I was disorganised and couldn't find the property because I'd lost the information. So thanks for fast and great communication with no sign of any impatience at my obvious disorganisation. Didn't have milk in the property on our arrival so had to go straight out shopping just to have a cup of tea. I always leave a few basics in my Airbnb so expected the same. But apart from my over-high expectation of something that's not necessary at all, it was excellent and we'd love to go again. Thank you.
- Alkis (8/5): Very good -
- Mandy (10/5): Gorgeous! - The accommodation was fresh and spotlessly clean. The rooms were spacious and well decorated. We are a family of four and were delighted to find three toilets! We could not fault this accommodation and would recommend it to anyone. Nothing
- Keveen (10/5): Excellent group holiday location - Excellent location with everything you could need for a perfect group holiday. The host was fantastic and always available for any queries.
- Penelope (10/5): Pleasant three bedroom apartment near Malvern -
- Allison (8/5): Good venue - Lovely decor in beautiful part of world Sofa uncomfortable. No welcome information ie internet details, check out details. Tv had no terrestrial channels.
- Glennis (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is well maintained with the added bonus of an outdoor space where you can relax in the evening
- Julie-anne (8/5): Great location & comfortable - Location was great for us, and apartment was as described and met our needs perfectly.
Bedrooms were comfortable and bathrooms & showers were good ( lots of hot water for everyone)
It was nice to have access to a garden seating area Some of the bedding for sofa bed was stained ( looked like tea or coffee)
Kitchen lacked a few useful utensils ( scissors, Sieve, oven gloves)
A hairdryer would of been useful
There was no general information regarding the flat ( ie there were two rubbish bins but no labels as to what was for what - recycling, food or general waste) & no info on Wi-Fi access
- Amanda (7/5): Good - Quite a difficult place to access Poorly equipped - no way of making fresh coffee etc
- Sam (9/5): Had a lovely stay in a great location for the town and walking trails and a great Sunday lunch at Wyche Inn - Great situation peaceful and near the ridge Nowhere to put towel or toiletries in en-suite .. but that is nit picking as otherwise all great
- Lindsay (9/5): Superb -
- Sandra (8/5): Very convenient for what we needed - The property """was excellent""" and we thought it was quite new. Only off putting thing was NO screen/door to the onsuite loo.
- Nicola (9/5): Superb - It was very clean and a great looking apartment Nothing at all
- Stella (8/5): Great location, great value, very clean. - Fantastic location in the heart of the Malvern Hills so perfect for a walking break. Very friendly and helpful booking process and great value for a group. Very clean and the accommodation has been well designed for maximum space use. Parking was fine on the road nearby. Huge fridge freezer. Fine for 6 adults but the sofa bed would be tricky for more than a few nights if more than 6. The kitchen needs a few more basics for cooking such as strainer, serving spoons, grater. But nothing major.
- Daniel (8/5): Very good -
- Melanie (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful Bedrooms, well equipped large kitchen. Good WiFi connection for Teenagers. I contacted the host, replied straight away and was very helpful.
- Luigi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rebecca (10/5): Lovely for a short stay in Malver - Very easy check in. Lovely and clean. Great supply of kitchen supplies, tea/coffee/oil, etc. Great view across the hills.
- Carl (10/5): Great place to stay - Really nice place to stay. Clean, modern and well equipped. Relatively short walk to a nice pub. Would definitely recommend.
- Xiaolei (10/5): Easy communication, warm - The host responded quickly. We booked this at the last min due to car traffic. Luckily this stay was amazing. The house was clean and looked exactly in the picture! All the facilities were good to use and decoration was warm and like home! Nothing special expect it locates on top of a small mountain so needed to drive many turns.
- Vaia (8/5): Very good - It would be nice if there was a door for the ensuit
- Mike (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aycan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stuart (9/5): Superb -
- Collins (6/5): Really great location and the apartment modern and spotless. - Modern and clean Few kitchen utensils and the plates too big for the dishwasher
- A (9/5): Superb - No Telly, there was a physical tv but it required subscription log in
- Jan (10/5): Perfect stay - Gorgeous property, spotlessly clean, great location & friendly owner. Nothing
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (10/5): Couldn’t have been better. - Modern, updated furniture and fittings. Very comfortable and great cooking facilities as we enjoyed a nice family meal. Faultless.
- Wan (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing place Parking can be tricky.
