• Albert (10/5): An absolutely perfect location with direct access to the beach and fantastic sea views. - An absolutely perfect location, quiet and somewhat secluded between the dunes. Access to the beach or the Breede River Mouth is literally outside the frontdoor—a stunning view from the upper floor. Amenities are also of a good standard. None of which is noteworthy.

• Koos (10/5): - The view was fantastic and the indoor fireplace was a bonus. Our hostess was excellent and very friendly and helpful. We will certainly return next year.
• Carine (10/5): Best place to wind down and just be. - Theresa met us with a hug. What a wonderful welcome. The house is beautiful and better stocked than many other places we have stayed before. Beds, bedding and towels are good quality and we slept extremely well. The view out of the windows and especially from the top floor, is unbelievable. We just sat looking out out the windows on many occasions. We did not even watch TV at all. Theresa told us about the Wednesday special of 2 burgers and chips at Marzanne's. Best burgers ever! Theresa, we would like to thank you for the excellent service and your availability to answer our questions. You are very helpful and kind. This is much appreciated. If you need a getaway to a slow place that is very peaceful and medicine for the soul, book this venue. Everything was top notch.

• Ashwin (10/5): Peaceful and relaxing getaway with amazing ocean views directly from the house. - Very private and spacious house surrounded by dunes directly on the beach. Comfortably beds with a heater in every room for the cold nights. Each room also has there own direct access to the beach. Amazing views of the ocean. Maybe just maybe we can see a toilet upstairs on our next visit somehow, otherwise everything is perfect.

• Sarah (9/5): Great, some minor improvements suggested. - The location is what makes this accommodation special - uninterrupted view of the beautiful dunes, beach, sea and estuary, and set a little apart from the other houses, so it feels private yet not too isolated. The house is spacious and comfortable. There is some litter immediately around the house; it would create a better impression if this were cleaned up. While the interior of the house was clean, including bedlinen, some of the linen is stained, which isn't appealing. We appreciated the relaxed beach-house feel, and wouldn't want it "fancier", but in good repair e.g. there was a cracked glass pane which should be fixed. The house was well equipped; we'd just suggest a clothesline for drying swimming costumes; also maybe some beach towels.

• Stephen (8/5): Very good - Location, comfort and cleanliness and well equipped. Excellent joining instructions. Although the property is dog friendly, pet owners should note that none of the bars accept dogs on their premises. This appears to apply for the whole of the garden route.
• Jennifer (9/5): We had a lovely relaxing weekend in a beautiful setting - Wonderful location and stunning view and very well equipped. Could do with some hooks on the patio doors to hold them open (rather than the rock) to get the breeze through as it was very hot upstairs. Maybe consider a fan in the bedrooms.
• Rene (9/5): We will return! - The location is wonderful and Therese was great. The towels may need an update, some are really worn out. Same for bedlinen. Although it is clean and washed, it has marks and does not feel super higinic.
