Steve (10/5): Fab cottage in a great location - The cottage has all that we require from a holiday cottage. It is in a fab location and really comfortable. The only issue we had was that the shower didn't drain and needs attention. Not the end of the world but it is possible it could flood if not dealt with
Richard (10/5): Lismore Cottage: by far the nicest Orford home that we’ve stayed in - My family and I have stayed in Orford cottages for over thirty years – a week at Christmas and often a week in summer too. Probably we have tried out ten or more. But Lismore Cottage is so well appointed, in both its sophisticated refurbishment and what is provided, that it certainly gains my son’s and my rosette. Comfortable living room with a responsive log burner – not using too many logs per hour – and a well-equipped kitchen with a washer drier (good for dealing with 20k/day son’s running stuff). Bedrooms with quality mattresses: a double bedroom and a twin. And everything worked! – apart from the central heating timing being upset, evidently by an earlier power cut – but the owner responded rapidly to a text. Five minutes’ walk to two pubs, both lovely, the church, the village store and the famous bakery č chocolate shop. Very strongly recommended. Nothing except the weather!
