Guest Reviews
- Wikitoria (10/5): Definitely 💯 worthwhile stay - Great location, had everything we needed for our stay
- Stuart (8/5): -
- Laura (9/5): April in Seahouses Harbour Heights - The accommodation was very welcoming and the beds very comfortable.
The house gets very hot so the fans were a good touch. I would prefer the conservatory area to be without the table and chairs and have more seating area and maybe some seating on the roof area (a few chairs)
The hallway as inviting as it is, is wasted space and could accommodate the dining table instead and open up the lounge area with more seating instead. It would be very cramped for 8 people to sit in that area and there are no other options of seating.
Also notable stains/urine marks from previous guests dogs on the carpet.
The check in time is very late. We asked to check in earlier and were told no. 3 or 4pm is the check in for most places. 5pm is late and also most of the first day has gone so for that reason the first day was completely lost but you still pay full price.
- sally (9/5): Great space, ideally located central to beautiful Seahouses. - Great property, centrally located near to everything which was fantastic. Parking for 2 cars with no issue.
3 en suites and a big bathroom make it ideal for a big family group.
Comfy beds.
Lovely to be able to see the sea from the conservatory. Lovely sunsets.
Good communication with the owners before we arrived and we were able to bring our dog, who had a lovely time! We didn’t realise it was all on the first floor, so there was a flight of stairs to get to the accommodation. I can’t see this mentioned anywhere which I was surprised about. It didn’t cause us an issue, but would have been helpful to know.
The kitchen space was quite small for a property that sleeps 8, but wasn’t too much of an issue for us.
The living space is also quite small for 8 people, and was really warm when the sun was shining!
- Bagley (9/5): Loved it - Great position with easy access to shops and restaurants. The bedrooms were great especially as everyone had their own bathroom. The only small issue that did not affect our holiday is that the conservatory is small for the number of people staying in the apartment.
- Angela (10/5): A fabulous holiday home with superb views and excellent facilities. Would stay again. - A beautiful house, the bedrooms with en suites were great with excellent showers and the beds were very comfortable The outside area could do with a spruce up, it lets the property down.
- Paul (9/5): Lovely and relaxing -
- Donna (10/5): - The accomodation was spotlessly clean excellent facilities 3 x en suites plus spacious bathroom with large bath. all extras hairdryer iron etc. Centrally located with everything on your doorstep. Close to Berwick Holy Island Everything was perfect
- kim (9/5): -
- Henry (8/5): - Location was excellent. Clean and tidy accommodation. Couple of very small niggles with kitchen appliances but nothing major Locks on the bedroom doors, coaster for the tables would have been handy
- bentley (10/5): Lovely - Very comfortable and in great location Nothing
- Carl (8/5): A great little place, cozy and homely, perfect for families and friends, but could be superb if a little TLC is applied - We were three couples from two families and it was key that we found somewhere that had en-suite facilities to at least three of the rooms as a result. The inside of the property is lovely, clean and has obviously recently been done up. It catered for us and our little dog admirably. It is in a good location and we were able to park three cars at the back no problem and not obstruct the laundry. We found a loose threshold strip from the kitchen to the living room which should be looked at as it is dangerous. There is a panel in the conservatory roof that looks like it is slipping and could do with looking at. The living room is a little small if the property is full with guests but is cozy and comfortable. The sinks in the property are a little small - appreciate they have been installed with space optimisation in mind but they are useless to shave in! The sink in the family bathroom has been installed so close to the wall that you cannot put the waste plug down and seal the sink - hence shaving in here is a problem too. The property could do will a better mat in the entrance hall - we stayed here on a very stormy weekend recently with lashing rain and strong winds and getting six people in the property without soaking the floors and dirtying the carpets was a real task - a better absorbent mat would have made all the difference.
- James (1/5): Poor shared accommodation that was unfit for use and increased costs as a result of trying to find alternative places to - The communal area was cold and had significant water ingress. It was clear that no pre-inspection was carried out before letting. I did contact them by email but there was no response. All documents provided said to only contact out of hours in an emergency. I was able to make my own makeshift repair to minimise the drafts and water ingress. The company have shown disinterested in providing any recompense.

- Liz (10/5): - The whole apartment was lovely, it had Everything you needed for your stay. The location was excellent, the beds were very comfy , the decor and fixtures were all lovely. There were 7 of us and everyone of us thourghly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend and we will be returning next year.
- Anne (8/5): - Location, bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Well equipped .
- Bev (10/5): - Beds were very comfortable The door to one room kept slamming
- Julie (9/5): -
- Anthony (1/5): -
- kirsty (7/5): -
- Lucie (8/5): Great bedrooms - The location was fantastic - Seahouses is a lovely place and you are within a short walk to the beach. The views from the conservatory were beautiful.
The bedrooms were fantastically sized and decorated. Brilliant to have en suites in 3/4 rooms - this is a rare find!
The staff were really helpful when my stepson accidentally locked himself out of his room and they came almost straight away to help. The conservatory is boiling hot and unbearable to sit in during hot weather. This didn't leave anywhere else to sit together as it serves as a lounge/diner.
The property wasn't that clean when we arrived (nuts down the side of the sofa, the pans in the oven had seen better days). We then felt it was slightly harsh to be given a lot of rules to follow on departure, but we did this regardless and cleaned top to toe as best we could. It was then
disappointing to be charged for the pans (which were in the same state that we found them) and for something on the walls that could have been easily wiped away. It ended the trip on a sour note, which I have expressed to the company.
The oven needs replacing as it only cooks food on full heat due to not being fan assisted. That is likely why the pans were so battered.
- Leanne (10/5): -
- Family (10/5): - Everything
- Shiraz (8/5): We had a lovely time and enjoyed the stay very much - Great Location, The host company attentive, comfortable and beautiful. Although small having 4 baths/toilets is really useful. It was advertised that a washing machine is available, but the place doesn't have a washing machine, The living area can get extremely hot during the day, as its all glass. But beautiful in the mornings, evenings and night.
- Anthony (10/5): It was excellent. Very clean and comfortable. Everything you could need. - No breakfast. Excellent location. There was some Road noise in the front bedrooms with the property being on the main road. Probably wouldn’t bother most people but I am a light sleeper.
- Stephen (2/5): Unresponsive customer care -
- Yvonne (9/5): Very well maintained, comfortable property in an excellent location. - Location was excellent. It was easy to walk everywhere within Seahouses, and beyond if you enjoy beachside walks. The apartment was spotlessly clean. The beds and furnishings were very comfortable. The agency was easily accessible and helpful and pleasant. The twin room is very small for 2 adults; more suited to children. The sitting room/dining room was adequate for our group of 5 but it would be impossible to seat a larger group. There is parking for 2 cars but 2 small cars. The driveway is narrow and there is little space for manoeuvring. We parked our larger car in one of the side roads on the way into the town (4 minutes walk away).
- Ian (10/5): Exceptional - 3 double ensuite rooms, well equipped kitchen, nice conservatoty/lounge. Clean, well situated. Nothing
- Benjamin (9/5): We had a fabulous stay! Gorgeous sunsets. - Lovely location, fabulous conservatory, immaculate bedrooms and bathrooms. Kitchen a little dated. Fridge/freezer wasn’t switched on when we arrived and had leaked on the floor. Living area was slightly small for a party of 8 - 2 of our friends couldn’t make it and the 6 of us were comfortable enough.
- Mccanny (9/5): Superb -
- Gill (10/5): Exceptional - We were a group of 5 ladies so the accommodation was great.3 double bedrooms with en suite and a twin with family bathroom.
Excellent facilities
- Helen (9/5): Great location in Seahouses - Lovely house, clean and comfortable, nicely decorated. Great location in Seahouses, very close to harbour, beach, pubs and shops, good for coastal walks. Parked 2 cars behind the property without any problem. Would definitely consider staying here again. Conservatory living/dining area would be quite small for 8 people but was ok for 6.
- Elizabeth (8/5): Very good - We could not access the parking at the rear of the property as workmen next door were blocking the entrance with vans and building materials.
We had to Parkin the carpark behind the flat which was ok but we got a parking ticket, on the last night and we do not know why so are challenging it.
Shame it spoilt the stay.
- Carey (10/5): Great getaway - Great location, great facilities, comfortable and clean. no hair dryer or eggcups.
- Gail (9/5): Superb -
- Maxine (8/5): Cute but could be better. - The property was clean and welcoming, and the location was ideal. Late check in.
Pillows are a little outdated and could be fresher.
The living room and kitchen area is too small for a group booking. We had 5 adults and a small child on our trip. There was not enough room to eat comfortably at a table and not enough seats to relax.
Also the conservatory area does not come with blinds so unable to be used comfortably in the sun.
- David (10/5): A wonderful property in a fantastic location - Fantastic property for visiting Seahouses, Bamburgh and the beautiful Northumberland coastline. Recently renovated, and very clean and tidy. Lovely rooms and amazing views out towards the sea and the Farne Islands. Having free access to the Ocean Club facilities was a real bonus too.
- Hugh (9/5): First time in Seahouses, great property and would recommend 👏👏 - Clean, great location, rooms lovely Nothing, was great
- Clare (8/5): Lovely apartment in great location - Flat was really lovely - comfortable bedrooms and lovely bathrooms. Great location and use of the Ocean club was a real bonus in winter (and one of the reasons we picked it). Was lovely and warm too. The space was perfect for us but there wasn’t the space in dining/living area for 8. Also not enough bowls.
- Phil (10/5): Exceptional - Clean. Great shower. Comfy bed. Central location.
- Christine (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely accommodation, right on the main street. Well equipped with most things you need. The living area was a bit tight for 8 but we managed. Really comfortable beds and the added bonus that everyone had their own on suite. Would definitely recommend. Coop across the road and several restaurants just a few minutes walk away. Enough parking for 3 cars. Wouldn't suit anyone with mobility issues as there are quite a few stairs once inside the building.
- Abi (8/5): Lovely clean apartment in a great location - couple of teething issues to sort. - Excellent standard of accommodation. Very clean and comfortable with lots of space. Heating worked well and kept us warm for the most part. Good supply of utensils and cooking equipment in the kitchen. Location was perfect, so close to everything in Seahouses and good coastal walks. We had no Wi-Fi for the stay which affected use of the smart tv functions and our ability to look up local information. We were not told in advance, in fact the arrival instructions gave internet connection details, as did the handbook in the apartment. We only found out when we contacted the owners who said they hadn't been able to connect it up to the apartment yet. Some prior warning would have been appreciated. Also, the conservatory roof in the lounge area leaked in a couple of places during heave downpours. Bot matters have been raised with the company.
- Gemma (10/5): Cosy and calming with a bed so comfy I didn’t want to leave it ! - It was just Perfect for what we needed thank you How close it was to everything and so cosy for a Christmas get away x
- Leigh-anne123 (10/5): Wonderful! - Fantastic location just behind the main street, well equipped and comfortable. Tastefully decorated and everything we needed was available. The rooms were a good size, ideal for families or groups. I had one question during my stay and it was quickly answered. Wonderful gem we will be returning to soon! That we hadn't booked for longer!
