- Victor (5/5): - Location close to xc ski and snowshoe areas. Elevator out of order, ice machine out of order, Hair dryer doesn't work, kitchen range not fully functional, kitchen poorly equipped. Beds for 4 and dining table had only one chair.
- Duane (10/5): -
- Corinna (4/5): staying on any floor aside from 3rd & 4th is great. - the breakfast was good, at times had to wait for trays to be filled. But, understandable. i didn't like the stuff that was put out in rooms as i had my granddaughters with me and i had to hide those things away. i heard about the mice on two floors and those aren't good for Elders or babies, pregnant ladies. i stayed on the 6th floor and that was good but 3rd & 4th a no no for me. We have people who go in for medical and they get put on those floors. and they already have health issues.
- gabby (10/5): - Breakfast was a great surprise, good selection, rooms were super cozy and clean very quiet too.Great location only 4 mins to Ferry and Train station . The rain lol.

- Brown (10/5): -
- John (3/5): Overpriced and poorly renovated - Ocean view Too many things to list . The biggest turn off were the bug traps in the room .The room looks nothing like the pictures.
- Emma (4/5): Cold - Nice room with a view and friendly staff. Freezing cold. The thermostat wasn’t working. I set it to 90 and the heat never kicked in. I had to sleep in my jacket.
- heather (1/5): Not recommended - The room smelled bad. There was dirt all over. Hotel is very dated, balcony is sketchy, no pop or ice machines, they actually told me to go into the wedding and ask them for a pop (the music in the wedding was great tho). Actually cancelled our stay and went elsewhere. Paid for the second night even though we cancelled. Door was difficult to lock.

- Sage Hartland (5/5): - No fan in the bathroom or room so it was hot and stuffy. Not very clean and the bed wasn't comfortable.
- Northup (10/5): -
- Kenneth (4/5): - Food was mostly gone when we came down to eat Rooms could have been cleaner and people were partying down the hall
- Kyle (7/5): -
- Koski (5/5): -
- Bruce Stanton (5/5): Would not return. - The staff at the breakfast room were friendly and efficient. The breakfast was good though the dining area was a bit drab and utilitarian. This hotel a bit of a disappointment. Upon arrival, there was no area in front to unload - all occupied by vehicles. It was difficult to ascertain that the location was even a hotel; poorly lit (we arrived at 12:30 a.m.). On check-in we learned there was a boil-water advisory for the whole town since August 6, 2025. The front desk staff was somewhat dismissive of the advisory, remarking that the water "should be okay" for brushing teeth, showering etc. just not to drink. We learned that one bottle of water was supplied in the room only by inquiring if there were alternatives to the unsafe drinking water. It would be good for hotels to provide their own water sanitation system when the municipal services fail. Just a suggestion.
- Gerri and Vernon (10/5): -
- Bob Doney (9/5): Other than no AC was exalent stay - Convent Free parking location excellent view of the harbour No AC in the rooms
- Amansisa (7/5): All good - Good locution Nothing
- Glynis (7/5): -
- Janice (7/5): -
- Janelle (2/5): Dirty, hot (no A/C), poor security, no green space close for pets. -
- Marie-Helene (7/5): -
- Ravlić (1/5): Avoid!! - I Cannot find one good thing to say about this property. I had to double check the address when I arrived because I thought (and prayed) that there must have been some mistake. This building looks like it should be featured on an SRO murder mystery documentary. If it wasn’t past midnight when I arrived with my children I would have searched out an alternative. When the elevator arrived there was a man inside with two Pittbulls and a bunch of dirty laundry wrapped up in a sheet. We waited for the next lift that took us up to the 8th floor (thankfully not the 13th). When we arrived I went to wash my hands and upon reaching the tap lever felt something crusty and sticky on the under side of the faucet handle ( take your best guess what it may have been?)
We all went to bed right away - dim lighting so we could not see anything amiss until the morning. When I awoke I realized the duvet blanket did not have a cover - it was simply in between two sheets. There were speckles of blood on my pillow case & There were greasy marks all over headboard and walls above beds.
The shower looked like it had not been scrubbed as there were little flecks of dirt all over the walls and tub basin.
When I pulled the sliding door open to take in the view and experience what Prince Rupert had to offer, I was met with a view of mouldy balcony. The bottom part of the building, maybe the first floor or two looks to be condemned. Broken windows have been boarded up, tinfoiled over etc.
Though we were hungry in the morning, surprisingly we did not stay for the breakfast experience.
For the $236 it cost me to stay here I would caution anyone before booking unless absolutely necessary.
The pictures on the website are 100 percent deceiving.
I wonder how long this building will remain standing.
- JANICE (8/5): Comfortable large room with great breakfast - Loved how roomy it was and the $10.00 off breakfast was a nice touch. Our breakfast was very nice with real teapots. No fan in the bathroom. Wasn’t comfortable about parking on the street over night. The front door entrance wasn’t very welcoming.
- Alan (3/5): Over priced view - Staff was friendly, the view was great When you pull up out front, makes you wonder what you got yourself in to
- Tasha (10/5): Updated rooms in a central location. Very nice staff. - Updated rooms are very comfortable and the location is central, with lots of services close by. The restaurant services a nice breakfast. Staff is very friendly. Overall a very good experience, would recommend staying here. Not much to dislike! Some of the towels were threadbare, and should be replaced.
- Brian (2/5): Never again - Not impressed overall I've never seen such a lack of cleaning done to entire hotel .
- Alex (7/5): Good - Great location The building is a bit dated and it feels
- Jaimie (10/5): We really enjoyed our stay - Central and in the water. Very quiet
- Melissa (5/5): Passable - Big room with excellent view of ocean. Love that there are balconies I stayed for 2 nights, 1 full day. No body wash in the shower dispenser. No do not disturb sign in room either(didnt think that was a big deal though at the time) I was not told I would receive room keeping service the next day, and we left early for an excursion and when we came back I noticed we received said service. Only our beds was made and we got new towels, the floor didnt get swept and the soap didnt get refilled either. So she didnt even look and there was some kind of soap spill on the wall in the bathroom also that looked like it wasn't even attempted to clean, I didnt touch it.
I asked why I don't have a do not disturb sign and was told I have to ask for one, like what? I also didnt ask for room service and wasn't informed or even asked if I wanted it. Didn't know I would receive said service either so its not like I could have said don't bother we're not here long enough.
When I brought up the room service displeasure the front desk clerk didnt seem bothered and I doubt she told management like she said she would.
One of the windows on door on the side of the building was broken, not even covered over. No exterior door security into the hotel either so anyone can come in at anytime. And the main lobby doors were also in a poor state, one wouldn't close completely or open all the way.
- Pierce (8/5): Very good -
- Karen (6/5): Ok for a short stay- avoid breakfast - Ok location, friendly staff Rooms may have been given a superficial makeover but fundamental things like broken hook on door, chafing not fitting round windows etc let it down. Cleaning was ok but dusty areas eg behind door on lights etc obviously not getting done. Main areas eg receptions and doors into hotel give very poor impression ( broken panes)
Main issue is the free buffet breakfast - really not worth it. Get there early if having it otherwise no glasses, elements gone, water cold and hot food generally a bit rubbish. Buffet is essentially 2 cereals, toast, scrambled or fried eggs, dried out potatoes and done kind of sausage
- Vinciguerra (2/5): I won't be staying here again. - The location is great. One of the biggest disappointments is that the standard of house-keeping is very poor - my room had dried up nose mucus smeared on a wall and on the headboard...which I myself scrubbed down because I was too tired to go report it when I got in. I did let them know though....I got a momentary look of concern. Also, I was there for three nights, all I got was fresh towels, they didn't wipe up anything or tidy up at all. Also, the sliding door in my room did not lock. The heat register was broken. All in all, I would not stay here again. The quality of food in the restaurant is not great. Very poor cleanliness standards. Poor quality food at the restaurant.
- Marianne (5/5): Passable -
- Nicole (9/5): Superb - You could see the ocean Was a bit pricey
- Varun (3/5): Try other hotels which provide better rooms - None The walls are too thin and there is no privacy with respect to noise. I had a tough time getting sleep as the neighbours kept yapping all night and I could hear them.
- Jared (7/5): Good -
- Doney (7/5): Good -
- Barry (7/5): Good - Breakfast was great, restaurant staff was so friendly and efficient, would stay again knowing that the awesome Breakfast and staff are there with smiles 😄
- Faye (5/5): Need to fix the fine details.hire more staff the poor lady in the dining room was working a lot of hours also more atte - The location No air conditioning in room. When we got to room in fridge have empty bottle of water. On the balcony there should be a couple chairs and table so you could enjoy the outdoors. The parking was terrible
- Emma (7/5): Good - The location is good. Nice rooms and bathrooms. There was a person smoking cigarettes on my floor. The floor smelt like cigarettes for about an hour. A guy that was intoxicated knocked on my door just before i was about to check-out. Other than that, the hotel is nice.
- Doney (8/5): Very good - View
- Doney (7/5): Good -
- Krista (9/5): Superb -
- Julie (8/5): Very good -
- Mcgarrigle (3/5): Staff Great but overall the place is not very clean - The staff are terrific and very friendly The rooms are dirty and the overall cleanliness of hotel needs a big focus
- Desormeaux (8/5): Very good -
- Christina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amanda (7/5): Please make sure seafood cooked properly - That night we order fish n chips , my uncle got bad food poisoning from the halibut or tarter cause he was very very very sick next day n basically had rent room again cause he was very ill from food poisoning. I'm happy he didn't end in hospital as he just had a stoke n open heart surgery n the puking if he kept puking harder would of killed him. So I think they need make sure there seafood is kept in right temperature n before buying it make sure it's fresh or cooked properly
- Branko (10/5): Exceptional -
- George (7/5): Good -
- Shadd (6/5): Location excellent, staff friendly, rooms adequately cleaned, beds horrible, and tvs way to small. - Breakfast was decent bed was horrible and tv you could barely see from the bed and while showering the water did not drain in tub. Upgraded beds and tvs.
- Patricia (5/5): Okay, could have been better. - Not good: no on-site parking, room was double-booked, late night phone calls from the front desk.
Good: clean, quiet, good harbour view.
- Douglas (5/5): Passable -
- Darryl (10/5): Exceptional - Was great stay. I choose mountain view so can watch sunrise. Just table top & phone dusty. Just about it.
- Shane (4/5): Disappointing - The staff was nice and courteous, but the room had a space heater on the floor for heat, and the balcony door rattled and whistled loudly in the wind, making sleep very difficult.
- Charles (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bruce (10/5): Exceptional -
