• Paolo (8/5): Natura e pace!!! - Luogo molto tranquillo, praticamente isolato nella natura, lontano dal caos cittadino, da rumori di qualsiasi genere, sulla riva di un fiume. Il letto comodissimo. Se si é pronti a vivere con il minimo indispensabile, avendo a disposizione spazi molto ridotti, con un bagno grossomodo come quelli da campeggio, con water a compostaggio, allora avete trovato ciò che fa per voi!!! Noi purtroppo abbiamo soggiornato 5 notti su 6 che avevamo prenotato e pagato perché per un problema con il volo siamo arrivati in ritardo, avvisando ovviamente per correttezza il proprietario e posso dire senza dubbio che sono state 5 notti veramente serene!!! Mancanza di un mobiletto o un ripiano dove sistemare i propri abiti e la biancheria.

• Shravya Shree (10/5): - The firepit, patio, fairy lights and the dried flowers fragrance stood out. It gave nice cozy warmth to the place. Very well thought out place. It is a beautiful cabin and blends in so well with the nature outside. Perfect for a nature retreat. Everything needed was available. I was concerned about the cold but it was well insulated and portable heater was strong. Nothing to dislike

• April (10/5): Perfect Recharging Getaway - This stay exceeded all my expectations, from the quaint and gorgeous interior to the breathtaking views and serenity you feel relaxing outside either in the morning with a cup of tea or by the fire at night, I was in awe. All amenities listed were available and there was a large amount of information guides provided to choose local activities and sites to see. I came here as a solo traveller and found it so peaceful and rewarding. The hosts are also incredibly kind and available to answer any queries or assist the best they can for you to have a lovely stay. This was the perfect getaway location and if you are lucky enough to have the chance to stay here, do it! I couldn't recommend it enough.

• Donna (10/5): A little slice of heaven - This place is a little hidden gem, off the beaten track. Cabin is small but very cosy, with a proper bed to sleep in. It was a cold rainy weekend for us but with the little plug-in heater & extra blankets, we were very cosy for our stay. Bathroom and kitchen were ideal for what we needed, shower was so nice. I loved being so close to nature, sitting on the deck in the morning with coffee and the sound of the river was just gorgeous. There is a river walk just in front of the cabin which was lovely. The town of Ballygarry is just around the corner so not far if you needed anything. This was my favorite stay yet. Beautiful Nothing, for me it was ideal.
• christian (5/5): Honest review, no malace meant! - Pungent smell of dog in the matting, had to put them outside as the place reeked of dogs. Adjacent neighbours or hosts .. dogs barked all night, so it wasnt a restful sleep. Great Location, ramshackle in it's levels of comfort in terms of kitchen and bathroom , needs some tlc to look and feel better. Overall comfortable, but would have benefited from bathroom tiles reseating properly, rustic nature of kitchen is acceptable.

• Pelate (10/5): Excellent place to stay if you're looking for great views and quiet surroundings! - I enjoyed staying at the Riverside Cabin. It was everything I expected without any surprises. It was nice to have the walking trail next to the cabin and everyone was pleasant who I interacted with on the trail. I think a motion light on the back of the cabin where you park would be beneficial.
• cannata (9/5): Una piccola baita incantata - L'alloggio molto grazioso, abbiamo goduto poco perché siamo arrivati tardi e la mattina ripartiti presto, però ho apprezzato la cura per ogni dettaglio e particolare. La parte esterna è molto suggestiva. In particolare nulla che non mi sia piaciuto, un consiglio forse è quello di specificare che non funziona molto la rete internet e provvedere eventualmente con un WiFi.

• Ulyana (9/5): - Уютный милый домик вдали от цивилизации. Есть все необходимое, чистый и продуманный. Жаль, что мы были не летом, было довольно прохладно, на веранде не посидишь. Четкие инструкции по поселению. Если вы хотите провести время в тишине на природе, то вам сюда. Лично для меня матрац слишком мягкий. Все таки немного тесновато для двух человек, если учитывать, что на улице холодно и все время проводишь в домике. Цена могла быть и ниже, за такие деньги останавливались в Ирландии в полноценных больших апартаментах. Сковородку нужно заменить
• Rebecca (10/5): Fabulous, different, loved it. - The location was perfect. Mountain view, river flowing just outside, walkway, tranquil, off the grid, information booklets to hand. Everything we needed fit into a cosy little cabin. Didnt get the chance to enjoy the fire pit and sitting outside which would have been super but next time hopefully as would most certainly return at some point. Definetly a romantic place to stay. We would have loved to stay longer. Everything else you may need, is only a 10-15 min drive away. Hosts are only a message away and very helpful & obliging. Thank you. N/A

• Catherine (10/5): Quiet,peaceful and beautiful inside and outside - Beautiful and quiet location. Very warm,comfortable and relaxing stay. Parking right outside and had all the essentials you needed to act like a home from home. Easy access to the property and easy access to motorway,towns/cities and historic sites. Great communication with owner. Great that it’s very ego friendly too. Loved staying here myself and daughter stayed for 4 nights and we would stay again. No problem at all,it was perfect inside and outside

The view was incredible, with cows grazing in the field and a peaceful river right in front. It was so quiet and relaxing, just what we needed. A perfect spot for anyone who loves nature. Highly recommended!

• Katarzyna (10/5): Beautiful surroundings and cute cabin - Cute little cabin. Nicely decorated inside. There was a little kitchen with one hob, the microwave and the fridge. BBQ facilities outside. The cabin is located next to hiking trail and a river. We loved watching birds and seeing the Galty mountain through the window. Great location, close to numerous mountain bike trails and hiking paths. Beautiful place. We liked everything
• Siobhan (9/5): Superb - I liked the location, it was by a stream, the cabin was so cute and had everything you needed. We were lucky to have good weather on our stay and it was lovely sitting out on the patio and doing a BBQ and a fire at night. It was just really peaceful, private and quite. It was only a 20 minute drive to the town where we could get anything we needed. I would definitely come back. Nothing.

• Katy (10/5): Just awesome!! - This was a lovely little tiny home type setup and we absolutely loved our time here. It has everything you need to have a comfortable home away from home, including cooking facilities to make homemade meals, tea and coffee. The outdoor area was a real highlight for us and where we spent a lot of our time. It’s comfortable and easy. The toilet (while being a composting one) is easy to use and doesn’t smell. (But be sure to keep the lid closed as it does attract flies). We enjoyed being able to self check in and come and go as we please. There’s a pretty cool 3km loop from the front door which goes up a small hill but man the views are amazing. There’s also Galtymore about 10-15min drive, not to mention the nearby cities etc.It’s wonderful to have all this on your door step. There’s decent parking right by the cabin. Our hosts were quick to respond and very kindly organised an iron for us to borrow during our stay. I was sad to leave as it’s just so peaceful. There’s games and books to borrow too which was awesome as it got us off our phones, reconnecting and really taking in the surroundings.

• Patricia (10/5): Stayed one night and it was extremely relaxing, the cabin is fitted out to a high standard and has everything you need. - Very calm, compact, comfortable &relaxing environment, all the added extras like the fire pit, comfy seats, tea, coffee, milk, shampoo etc & little snacks made it very homely and was a nice touch.

I loved spending the drizzly evening on the patio, cozy under the blankets provided. The cabin is very small, but perfectly for one or two people. The cabine was so cozy, inviting and we felt instantly at home. We’d highly recommend to everyone looking for a romantic gateway or a spiritual and/or artistic retreat. Nothing
• Michaela (10/5): Beautiful cabin with gorgeous scenery that gave us a perfect romantic getaway! - The cabin was in a beautifully remote spot, off the grid that allowed for zero distractions. The bed was perfect, not only the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in but was fitted with an array of blankets that ensured that you didn’t want for more. The view was gorgeous and we visited Galbally village that held everything we needed for our stay. The board games provided were a godsend on a rainy night in. Riverside is a romantic getaway that promotes intimacy with your partner as you must rely on each other’s company to pass time and brings you closer There was nothing that was unlikeable about of our visit. It exceeded all expectations and created a fantastic atmosphere!

• Sarah (3/5): Quite ridiculous! - The view to the Galtee Mountains was great. The compost toilet was a great idea, although could a little draughty..although the shack itself was quite warm. This accommodation is quite ridiculous! The outside area can only be used when it is not raining. There is nowhere to sit comfortably. To prepare food in the kitchenette at least one stool needs to be in the shower room. There is next to no storage/place to unpack even necessities in the kitchen, in the bathroom or in the main area. There is no room in the bathroom to towel off after a shower. The outside deck is slippery when wet. We looked for the bbq, but couldn't find it. No toaster. We discussed who the accommodation was aimed at but couldn't pinpoint any type of traveller who would be comfortable in that space. We are caravanners, so are used to small spaces. Our 18' caravan has more room than in this shack. A suggestion to make it more user friendly is to swap the bed out for bunks and include a table & a couple of chairs.

• Nikki (10/5): Charming, cosy, and peaceful - The perfect little hideaway for a night off the grid! The location was lovely and peaceful, the bed was very comfy and the outdoor area with the wood burning fire was ideal to sit out in all evening. We will certainly be back again. Being very picky, it would have been nice to have some bigger/better wine glasses (although we appreciate space is limited) A notification prior to booking about the dry toilet would be beneficial. We were surprised by it initially but ultimately OK with it as it was very clean, but it would not be to everyone's liking.
