Guest Reviews
- Millie (9/5): The property was well located and easy to find, quite but not too far from a lovely town with friendly locals. The owner - The guest service began before arrival, Kate was kind enough to offer and earlier check in and was able to communicate when the property was ready and available. Upon our arrival, Andy met us at our car and showed us around the cottage and gave us a run through of the features and how to manage the hot tub. They were both very generous to leave us with fresh eggs, bread, and milk as well as complimentary tea, coffee and sugar: Andy even returned with some dishwasher tablets later in the day. The central heating and hot water were easy to manage on the thermostat, and kitchen appliances are modern and easy to use. The cottage itself was thouroughly clean and the beds were very big comfortable.
Hand towels, shower towels, bath mats and spare towels for the hot tub were all kindly provided. As well as firewood and kindling. More were available at the bins which were clean and organised for recycling. Logs bags were a very reasonable price of £4, or 2 bags for £7 and kindling was £1. The fire place was clean and the log burner itself was massive with good ventilation.
Also with other visitors in the surrounding cottages, the place remained quiet, and with the car park, coming and going was no issue at all.
There is also a near by national trust park: which Andy had kindly referred us to, Coed y Foel— with beautiful woods full of blue bells and fields with amazing views and booming wild life. And the we were able to get to New Quay within 20-30 minute drive for a nice day out.
If we had needed anything. Kate and Andy were a simple text away, the service on the property is good and Kate was kind enough to give us some forewarning about anyone coming and going to help manage the farm life as not to worry us.
The hot tub features were amazing and perfect with a beautiful view over the fields, small lights that would come on when it went dark and an overall lovely atmosphere. We had some issue locking the front door at first, but soon managed when we applied some more force— we were worried we would break the handle but it turned out it was just more sturdier than most. Though we felt comfortable leaving it unlocked most of the time because the property was safe and quiet.
The log burner could do with a fire mitt, but it’s not a huge necessity- we managed fine without and had no injuries because it’s manageable with the poker and such. I’m sure if we had communicated to Kate and Andy they could have lend us one if we really needed it but we had managed fine.
- Darren (10/5): Great short get away with friends in a beautiful location - Beautiful location and views. Games room is a bonus addition.

- Nicola (8/5): Perfect mini break with stunning views - The stay was very comfortable, clean and perfect for our mini break. I stayed with my two teenage children, we try to ensure a few days just us 3 for some quality time every year and this gave us just that. The little welcome basket was a lovely touch. The views are beautiful and the hot tub was well maintained. Plenty of attractions around a 30 minute drive away, with the little village and spar less than a 5 minute drive. Perfect for dogs with a secure little field for them to run around in. We stayed in the summer with gorgeous weather but i think it would be just as lovely in the winter with the log burner and covered hot tub. Lovely stay and I would definitely recommend to others. The only minor negatives are the front door was hard to lock and the balcony door being the same, just took extra care to secure. The gym isn't really a gym but the sauna was perfect as we are a very active family so this incorporated into a morning routine was a huge bonus for us. May be worth being mindful of the farm cat that does like to loom around, saying hello, with myself and our dog not very keen this made me slightly nervous at first but with others giving it attention it left us alone for the majority. Maybe worth mentioning also there is a £20 cash charge for dogs on arrival. Definitely isn't any negatives that would put us off coming again, I'm already looking to visit next year.

- Egle (1/5): - Nothing. Advertised as "pets friendly". On arrival, we said to host Kate that we have a cat with us. Then she became so rude that we didn't tell her that in advance. According to her, cat is NOT a pet, only dogs are pets!!! Misleading photos on site - looks like you are getting a spa, table tennis and a hot tub. Complete lies - all that is share facilities but it doesn't mention anywhere on a site! Worst ever host I met in my life!

- Olivia (10/5): A fantastic time had by all! Can’t wait to return. ☺️ - We visited Millers Cottage as a surprise for my partners birthday, with our friends and had a brilliant time! Absolutely beautiful surroundings and a very cute cottage, so spacious and comfortable. Everything you need and more, a lovely welcome pack with fresh eggs and bread and milk and other bits. The added bonus was the air fryer and coffee machine. We had forgotten our hair dryer but wasn’t a problem because there was one in the rooms. The cottage was so homely and clean. We had a wonderful time in the hot tub and playing table tennis and games. We are all animal lovers so adored the animals and beautiful views. The hosts are so lovely, helpful and nothing was a problem, checking in and making sure we were okay and talking to us about the animals and area. We really did have the most wonderful time and look forward to going back again for another relaxing visit. Thank you so much ☺️ Nothing not to like, it’s beautiful!!
- Julian (9/5): Excellent cottage well worth a visit - Accommodation was to a high standard owners were very welcoming and friendly.
- Budai- (10/5): A charming and peaceful retreat in a beautiful countryside setting - The location was fantastic—perfectly situated near some truly beautiful spots. New Quay beach, Coed Y Foel Woodland Trust, and the stunning Cenarth Falls were all just a short 20-minute drive away, making it easy to explore and enjoy the natural beauty of the The property is wonderfully comfortable, spotlessly clean, and delightfully spacious. The hot tub and cozy log burner add such a special touch, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes the stay truly unforgettable.

- Mark (8/5): Cottage nice and quiet had a nice rest - Home to home feel Hot tub not private showers not the best clean but no power welcome pack could do with more selection maybe bit of jam biscuits tv in bedroom would been nice no heating controls
- Katrina (9/5): Lovely cottage in quiet location with everything you’d need for a comfortable stay - great hot tub, all other comforts were provided. Quiet location and enjoyed seeing donkeys, llamas etc Nothing
- Caroline (10/5): Cottage, facilities and owners all great ! - We had a brilliant stay facilities were spot on. Owners were really friendly and helpful.
Cottage was a great size and had all amenities needed. The Hot tub was in a central location but only 10 metres away from cottage door.
We stayed for 5 days and really enjoyed it. Dog walk area was perfect for our Cockapoo.
They had a games room with had a ping pong table, Dart board and gym with all bats darts etc included.
Would highly recommend. There was nothing we didn't like but we did suggest the cottage needed an airer to dry clothes.
- William (10/5): Exceptional -
