Guest Reviews
- Victoria (8/5): -
- Ben (10/5): - Absolutely everything including the waterfall Absolutely nothing
- MrsP2016 (10/5): Comfortable cosy cottage - Unique and cosy cottage tucked away from the nearby towns. A very relaxing atmosphere and plenty of wonderful touches which made it feel comfortable and welcoming. A real home from home. The beautiful period style was a lovely experience. We loved this place so much our 13 year old wants to live there!
- Brian (8/5): - This cottage was originally and beautifully, very clean and comfortable, we thoroughly enjoyed our night there and will highly recommend it to others.. It was all beautiful
- Burrows (9/5): - The cottage was nice with easy access to road. Clean and comfortable with lots of original features.
Kitchen was well equipped. With rear garden. Good sized bathroom and bedrooms. Could not find much fault with it. Did not think the mats were necessary in kitchen with stone floors
- Dave (8/5): - Quaint cottage with good sized rooms.
- Wendy (2/5): - The cottage was very well equipped, attention to detail on things to do and the local area, including high vizz jackets and torches for walking in the dark. We can only imagine it would be cosy with the fire on in the winter. Host was great at communication. It was dark & dingy, tired decoration, possibly in keeping with an old cottage. Worst of all the bed was totally unfit for sleeping in. The base had no support and the mattress needed replacing. It hurt my back. We got up early because of it, we couldn't wait to leave. So much so, we didn't use the well equipped kitchen. The plumbing was so loud you could hear it groaning in the front garden. Dangerous bend getting on and off the parking space. Disturbed by noisy traffic as property is very close to the road.
- Graham (8/5): Overall really happy - Clean & Cosy. Well equipped The noise of the pipes when the toilet flushed
- Marian (9/5): Good value accommodation in a good location. - We liked the cultural heritage and history of the house. The property has been nicely updated while keeping its original charm and is well equipped throughout. The smaller bedroom is right beside the road and noise from passing traffic makes it harder to sleep in there. Also a couple more towels would be helpful.
- Philthetraveller (9/5): Superb - 0.7 miles from ynys hir rspb. 👍
- Gale (8/5): Great quirky old cottage - It's was a great quirky little property that I'd definitely stay in again. Nothing bad to say about the property, my only suggestions would be some black out curtains and to fix the noise plumbing.
- Gary (10/5): Exceptional -
