Guest Reviews

- Anirudh (9/5): Overall a good stay for a large group, would recommend booking and staying here. - Spacious, host left a welcome basket. Clean and clear instructions per-checking. Flooring, it makes noise. You can hear it while staying on first floor even when someone was walking on the ground floor.
- Ireland (9/5): Excellent stay, would recommend - Great location to explore, the property had everything we needed. It’s huge, so plenty of space for all of us.
- Alyse (10/5): -
- Bret (10/5): I’ll definitely Recommend this place and definitely use again . - This property has everything to offer , a home from home , a very clean spacious unique house . Nothing
- Sue (8/5): - We felt the property information could be more detailed in terms of the very narrow streets and tight gateways at the property, and Sat nav’s were giving routes up and down the hill that were simply not navigable. Perhaps the hosts could produce a map for visitors advising on what is and isn’t ‘doable’?
- Barnes (10/5): - Spacious clean and close to Porthmadog and Harlech beautiful views.
- mandy (10/5): - House was lovely, really well presented with large communal dining sitting room
- Allison (9/5): A perfect base to explore North Wales, although the property is so lovely that it’s hard to leave! - Beautiful, spacious property. Very comfortable, had everything that you could need for your stay. Quiet location with great views.
- Dawn (10/5): Had a lovely weekend with family. Perfect base for the golf weekend. - Unique

- tarminder (7/5): very quiet, open plan property - large living room and kitchen, 2 dedicated parking spaces. kids loved the double bunk beds. good towels, big fridge/freezer very tight drive into the village and the actual property, if you've got a big car- be aware. some people may not like being next to a historical burial site. i personally didn't mind it. check in after 3pm and check out at 10am is a bit tight.
- Stephanie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gemma (10/5): Exceptional - It was big, spacious and had everything you needed No access to the back garden
- Abi (9/5): Lovely little place good value for money - Perfect hosting space A few minor issues with shower wobbly toilet seat and toilet roll holder , not enough forks
- Ryan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kathleen (10/5): Great little place, would definitely stay again. - Really lovely accommodation, well thought out, lots of space, comfy beds and well located. Very warm and snug. Nice decor, very memorable stay. Thoughtful things done by the host like leaving milk and orange juice in the fridge and homemade bread. Could do with more plates/cutlery. It only has 10 plates and 8 metal forks, which isn't great if you have 10 folk staying there.
- Alex (8/5): Very good -
- Charlotte (10/5): Exceptional - It’s beautiful spacious and perfect for entertaining
- Lesley (8/5): Loved it! Not a fan of the surrounding town though! - Couldn’t fault the house! The position was very difficult to get to!
Also should be aware the stairs are very steep! Not a problem to us but could be to someone unsteady !
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Caroline (10/5): Beautiful, spacious property. - Beautiful, spacious property. The facilities are excellent. Location is very good for travelling around the region.
- Claire (5/5): Lovely property, not suitable for Under 5’s or people with low mobility. - Loving house with large rooms and plenty of light., clean and tidy. It was not suitable for my family , with glass partition walls and doors ,no out door play area, not suitable for under 5. Stairs everywhere so people will low mobility had a lot of problems. no where to sit outside and could not open kitchen windows without standing on kitchen sides, mean while one of the upstairs bedrooms window had no lock.
- Michelle (9/5): Superb -
- Steve (10/5): Exceptional -
- Palwinder (9/5): Superb -
- Holden (9/5): Superb - Beautiful, spacious house with lovely views. Comfortable and well equipped. Good location for attractions we wanted to visit. The small local roads. It would have been helpful to have instructions for the best route to the house.
- Sophie (10/5): Beautiful little Gem - We booked Chapel Nazarath as a weekend getaway for my sisters birthday and all of us were absolutely blown away with how stunning it was. Our party consisted of adults, children and a dog. The building itself is beautiful and the interior is of a high standard. It was very clean and provided everything we needed on our weekend get away. Absolutely perfect for a family or a larger group.
We met one of the owners who was lovely and provided us with information. The village is within walking distance and has everything you need, with a shop, takeaways and pub. Snowdon is approx 20min drive depending what path you take.
We would all highly recommend Chapel Nazareth and we will definitely book here again if we have a trip to Wales. It was perfect
- Ian (8/5): Very good -
- Amanda (7/5): Lovely building, well located - It was well placed to visit some nice local activities. The main bed could do with being bigger and without the foot board on the bed - my husband is 6ft tall and his feet touched the footboard, but I imagine for very tall people it would be awful. It's such a huge (lovely room), I can't quite understand why a bigger bed wasn't chosen. The matress was comfortable but we felt we had to sleep on the edge of the bed so we didn't disturb one another.
On the first night I was woken by the extraction fan in the ensuite shower room, which has a 'spiralling' high pitch it reaches every few minutes. Also - we could not control the underfloor heating in the bedroom with the double and twin beds so my boys couldn't sleep well in there either. I suggest that you set the underfloor heating upstairs to a very low setting (e.g 16 degrees).
I also suggest that you provide the cleaner with a step as they had not dusted the window sills - they were quite dusty and dirty. There were also children's handprints all over the glass door in the sitting room.
The only other things I would suggest is providing more loo rolls - we ran out, and more dishwasher tabs - there was only one for a 2-night stay, so we had to buy more. A small thing but would have made a difference.
You might also want to let people know that the roads and entrance to the chapel are very narrow. We have a Caravelle and had to work hard not to scrape our car, and the turns were VERY tight coming out of the chapel.
Apart form the above, it was a really lovely property.
- David (8/5): Enjoyed the short break at Capel Nazareth - Spacious and light. The views. The layout of the property. Nice condition More seating would be nice in the lounge, as there was 9 of us.
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kenny (10/5): Beautiful clean comfortable house. Perfect for large family early Christmas - Everything
