Only access to the second and top floor is by staircase on both sides. Good exercise. Internet connection was good. There's a guideline booklet in the apartment. This was helpful.

• Larry (9/5): I would return. - Met or exceeded my expectations. Fully functional self-catering apartment hotel. Location in a residential setting -- relatively quiet. Within 20 minute walking distance to the bank, restaurant and grocery store. Much farther than I expected to the beach-- 20+ minute walk to Dickenson Bay Beach, but another 20 minute walk to Runaway Beach. Weather and beach amenities perfect. Eventually rented a car -- driving everywhere relatively easy. Prior to booking, credit cards were acceptable form of payment. After booking, disclosed that a 3% fee for credit card use -- deceptive.

• Jeffrey (9/5): A great short stay with disaster averted by a thoughtful host. - Donna was an exceptional host. First of all she met us at the airport, greeting us with a smile and provided the transport to her lovely guest house in St. John's, a short drive away. The accommodation was spotless and well presented with lovely views from the balcony of both the countryside and the town. As we were only staying one night before our flight to BVI, we arranged for transport the following morning back to the airport. If it was not for Donna knocking on our door at 0810 to advise that transport was ready, we would have missed our flight as the time on our mobile phone had not adjusted to Antigua time and showed an hour earlier. Donna knew the shortcut back to the airport and disaster was averted. A very pleasant stay albeit short, meant that we had little time to make use of all the facilities provided, but we did find the local shops and restaurant following a brisk walk that was not too far. For our short stay, I don't think there was anything to dislike and certainly nothing to complain about.

• UgoB (9/5): Convenient place to stay on Antigua, strategical for reaching anywhere on the island, by car - We had apartment n. 9 on the second floor. Very spacious and confortable. The bed was exceptionally confortable and large. The kitchen/living room was also spacious and confortable and the terrace outside was agreable. Donna, the host, was kind and friendly and the comminication with her was quick and easy. She even allowed us to stay until 1 p.m. the last day since our flight back home was in the afternoon. The position is good for reaching (with a car) anywhere in the island and the closest beach (Dickenson Bay: a marvellous beach) was only 5 mins driving. The view from the terrace is nice even if the sea can only be seen quite far away. The location is extremey quiet and silent 24 hours a day. There are no major things that we disliked. Only small details can be made better: a little more powerful light on the terrace to have dinner outside would be a good thing. A little bit more dishes and cutlery in the kitchen would also be appreciated. And a different setiing of the table on the terrace would make easier to have dinner outside. Last small thing: it is a little difficult to climb on the bed for the person who sleeps on the left side, since on that side the bed is against the wall, but it can be managed anyway. All the above are really very small details: we actually spent a marvellous time on Antigua thanks to Donna's hospitality.

• Viktoria (10/5): Lovely staff in a quit and beautiful area - This room was much bigger and had a higher quality than we expected. The staff was lovely and the area was quiet and surrounded by cozy houses with beautiful gardens. the placement may look odd, but it was perfect for us. it was only a 30 min walk to Dickson bay or 30 min walk in the other direction to St. Johns or Fort James. The closest super market was only a 10-15 min walk from the hotel. i would recommend to bring something to make you visible if you are walking in the dark. There was also some restaurants close by. Otherwise the island is mainly made for driving, and I would recommend to rent a car. The lovely lady at the hotel did also have a transportation service that helped us to the airport.
• PRAVEEN KUMAR (7/5): Comfortable stay - Located opposite a ground . Lots of fresh air and sunshine . The property name “Sea View” may set expectations a bit high. The room itself was comfortable, though the décor is more traditional and could benefit from some refurbishment. The kitchen is somehow functional but having a few more utensils would be helpful. Tap water is not drinkable, so bottled water needs to be purchased, which usually requires a taxi trip to the supermarket. Taxi fares are around USD 20-25 to reach the city or nearby beaches, so this place may be more convenient for guests with their own vehicle. With a little more care and attention, the apartment could offer a better overall experience.

The rooms are incredibly spacious, clean, and comfortable—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the island. One of the best features is the convenient location, just a short walk to shopping markets and local amenities. Beach is around 10 mins walk, please carry a stick if you are walking some of the dogs are bit scary when you go for walk. 😂 A special thanks to Donna, the owner, whose warmth and hospitality made the experience unforgettable. She’s not only a wonderful host but also a genuinely delightful person to talk to—you could spend the whole day just listening to her stories and insights. Donna truly goes above and beyond to make guests feel at home. Highly recommend Antigua Seaview to anyone visiting the island!
• Shanthy (9/5): Pleasant stay. - Large apartment with living, kitchen and washroom. It had full kitchen. Owner and staff very helpful. They helped with queries and concerns. It’s more like having your own apartment. We stayed there for a week. Not enough restaurants.. have to drive . But not too bad. Grocery store close by. So bought enough to manage. This is good to feel like living as Antiguan.

• Patricia (9/5): A very relaxed base with excellent staff. - 25 minutes walk to Dickonsons Beach and a Supermarket. 35 minutes into St John’s town. (I’m a walker) if you have a hire car it’s a perfect base. It is so quiet and peaceful. Staff and owner are helpful. It has no reception to report o on arrival.

She upgraded us on the first day as we were staying for more than a week as a couple. Both rooms were very well designed and spacious. Beds were comfortable, mosquito nets functional, and air-con was able to be set a comfortable temperature always. There was loud music one night, but expected as it was holiday season, other than that quiet enough to sleep well every night. Kitchen facilities were also more than enough to sustain. Enough parking out front and side. Apartment was always cleaned each day, by Rose the cleaner who was lovely and accommodating. Would recommend staying if you're in Antigua or plan to be!! Wish i could stay longer

• Royalblognl (8/5): Very good - A nice apartment block on the edge of St John's - having your own transportation is a plus, as town is not really in comfortable walking distance. A huge supermarket is nearby; it's walkable and with the nice kitchen in the apartment you can then prepare your own food. A/c in master bedroom - which has to service the living room/kitchen as well. Seaview? Not from my apartment, at least not in the way the name suggests. There might be a sliver on a clear day, and from a higher floor, but I didn't see it.

• Lindsey (9/5): 5 night chilling out break - We always avoid the big resorts and like to stay in small independent hotels. Antigua Seaview had everything we needed for our 5-night stay. As it had a small kitchen area, we could self cater if we wanted to. The fridge freezer was quite big so we could have a nice sack of ice which we bought at the big nearby supermarket. The large bed was super comfy, and there was a really efficient a/c unit and a ceiling fan in the lounge. We enjoyed chatting with the owner Donna over delicious breakfasts, which she prepared, and we sat on the table on the shared veranda overlooking the local community. The sea could be seen in the distance, and it was easy to see if there was a cruise liner or two in the harbour at St Johns. As we love exploring and touring, we rented a car from a local company and the car was delivered to us at Antigua Seaview.. We used paulinestaxisandrentals .com and could drop the car off at the airport. There wasn't) a picture window to the front and for privacy onto the shared veranda at the front there is a frilly net curtain

The TV was in the bedroom so to watch it we had to lie on the beds next to each other? The room had an air of previous tenants cooking, not sure cleanliness was a big issue for them, needs a big overhaul. Furniture very dated. Very expensive for what we received in the rainy season. Donna and Mr Chanderpaul however were very helpful and polite,

• Charles (3/5): Never again… - There was no breakfast or food nearby… walked a half mile to a restaurant in an abandoned hotel. Was supposed to have a ground floor room….was given a room on the second floor. No elevator….has to carry our luggage up and down the stairs. The room was very dated and not secure. The flimsy lock was a joke.

• Lauren (10/5): Enjoyed my visit! - Great location! Easy to walk to Dickensen Bay Beach and also St. John. They also offer a taxi service. There is a restaurant nearby, and you can order food delivery. Very large apartment with bedroom, living room, bathroom etc. Lots of space and very clean. The manager Donna is great! Very nice and helpful.

• Viding (10/5): Exceptional - Donna the host is absolutely fantastic person very helpful if you dont know the island goes out of the way to make you feel comfortable the staff Annie and Sean Paul are both lovely people could not reccomend it enough supermarket round the corner with Atm and a good food at the deli counter a whole meal for £5 the beach is within walking distance but easier if you have a car all in all you will have a brilliant stay with Donna now a friend to me and my mrs have fun N/A
• T. (7/5): Good - Donna offers a comfortable, well-run and managed facility, with a kind and welcoming style. The apartment was comfortable and included a kitchen for basic self-catering; a couple of missing items were quickly supplied on request. A supermarket is 500m south. Donna is very well "plugged into" local politics and will conduct tours on request. Brace yourself, Antigua is eye-wateringly and ludicrously expensive (eg. 7km taxi from the airfield = USD53, a small block of butter = USD2.85, a small loaf of bread = USD6.49); it is in danger of pricing itself out of the market. The common complaint among the locals is that the tourists do not spend money outside the all-inclusive resorts and neither will disembarked passengers from the stream of cruise ships that visit. I wonder why?
• Nicole (7/5): Pleasant stay, good and safe location - The location was pretty good in terms of distance to town and it felt like a fairly safe neighbourhood. The apartments were spacious enough and the lounge/living room space was also comfortable. One of the big things i needed in the rooms was the AC as outside gets hot and the AC units in both rooms were effectuve. Clean towels were provided daily and basic toiletries were placed in each room on arrival. Donna made us feel comfortable and checked in on us frequently, which was nice. There was a cleanliness issue (bathroom not cleaned and a rank smell) when we first checked into the room. There were also some challenges with locking/opening the door to the apartment. This got resolved by offering us another room which was by far cleaner. TV audio quality in one of the rooms was not the best. It's not clear/sharp so unless volume was high, it was sometimes be difficult to make-out the words.

• Panakal (9/5): The hotel manager Dona and her staff where very friendly and customer focused and accommodative. - Good localities. Cleanliness. Good Customer service. Close to main city center in St. John's. Walkable distance to few restaurants and grocery supermarket. As a service, the Hotel staff also provides you sightseeing trips, pick and drop from airport at a very reasonable price. There was router in the room, providing excellent Wi-Fi connectivity. Clean linen, Towels and Toiletries well arranged. I was surprised to see a full service kitchen in the suit, with gas stove, utensils and a large fridge. Very ideal for long stay if one were to come for remote work or even few days with with family and if you prefer to cook a meal or breakfast. Hotel location being a few blocks inside from the main road, to get a taxi you need to know taxi operators phone numbers and have to call & wait for a ride. The saving grace is that most times the hotel staff can also drop you to your destination at a similar or lower price, if their vehicle and staff are available.

• Luke (10/5): Enjoyable Stay - Just back from an enjoyable stay at Antigua Seaview. A great base to enable me to explore the beautiful island. Very peaceful setting with great wifi connection and AC unit. Host also very friendly. Large supermarket a 15 minute walk away and kitchen equipment provided for self catering. My apartment was also cleaned regularly. Host also offers airport pick up/drop off option. Minor but I would have benefitted from clearer instructions regarding check-in as there is no reception. It turned out the host lives in one of the apartments but that was not known at the time resulting in a momentary panic on arrival.

• Ad (10/5): More than you could ever ask for! - The host Donna was very friendly, accessible, professional, and attentive to all our needs. She did a daily checkin to make sure we were good. The staff was always predictably there in the morning at the same time to clean the floors and refresh linens. They were always warm, friendly, and flexible to come back later. They were very generous with gifts of local fruit, which was a nice surprise! Always had hot water for showers and no shortage. I rented 3 rooms and they all had working fridge, stove, oven, toaster oven, toaster and electric kettle, lots of pots and pans with lids, dishes and cutlery. The air conditioners worked beautifully. A couch table and chairs and extra chairs outside the rooms for your guests. I felt so proud to bring family and friends to the beautiful rooms. They have a lovely garden in front and back for pictures with many beautiful plants. The building is gorgeous and so close to a very affordable supermarket with all your needs, including coolers for the beach!! ⛱️ I could not have asked for a better hotel accommodations, stay or location. I didn't like that my vacation had to end.

Pleasant quiet residential district. Excellent air conditioning. Donna took us to town& the airport . There’s a good supermarket within walking distance.lovely plants& trees around. All well kept. A taxi was needed to go to town due to heat & roads. It was also too hot to walk to the beach tho it was only a couple of miles- with the salt lake in between.
